LETTERS FROM AN EDITOR The time has come to open a channel to the readers directly. That means you people, whomever you are (we really haven't the foggiest). This will be the first in a series of first person exposes documenting in disturbing depth the primitive publishing habits of Agora's, until now, conspicuously obfuscatory personnel. This includes our creative cream (fat), our editors unedited (also fat), our distributors and debutantes (less fat due to exercise), all unwittingly observable for the first time in their artificial habitats, like crafty unkempt bubble children reaching for your mailbox with protuberating rubber tongs, too gleefully involved to notice the webcam light is on, livestreaming every unsightly thing. And there is much to stream. We get very little sleep at times and we intend to keep you up with us, watching surreality unfurl on the stage that is all the world, like some massive macabre tongue of farce. How can you not look? Meet Dan. Dan is one of the original impregnators of Agora. He was there back when we had tiny faces on the cover and 100 words per square inch. It was Dan who slept in a tackle box of a utility van for many a condensate Vancouver night, on a bed of pencil shavings and ink laden loose leaf no less, parked in whatever crease of the city the engine had gurgled it's last for the day, just to get this project called Agora out from under the mattress. Dan Merchant was a carpenter, still is by some accounts, and like many carpenters before him he saw a shape within the wood. Paper is a kind of skinny wood, and it was with this sort of notion that Dan set himself to work. You see, in those days (a year and a half ago), a man set himself to something and that was that. What is it they used to say? Come hell or high water. Well where I come from hell is its own season of the year and the higher water is where you got a better view of the nude beach, and I think Dan knows what I'm talking about, because for him it was always about the wave. The wave I'm referring to is what we call massive societal transformation, and what a naked sight it was... To be continued...

People Take Over Bank of America Branch in DC Seems that some people who want the banksters to pay are taking matters into their own hands. National People's Action, one of the more aggressive progressive advocacy groups, has been deeply involved in street protests against foreclosure fraud and corporate greed. And today, they escalated those actions. 600 activists with NPA took over a DC branch of Bank of America today, handing over a "tax bill" to the large banking institution that they believe has cost states billions through tax avoidance and reckless speculation

Kilgour. "It's surprising because we're working with completely different methods. I'm not using Chinese government numbers," Gutmann said." "He found that House Christians, Tibetans, and Uyghurs were also victims." "The Chinese regime has since stopped openly selling organs to foreigners (officially), yet the practice is still allowed among local Chinese. Only registered hospitals are now allowed to conduct the transplants, but Matas notes, 'it only works for the civilian system, not the military, and the military are the main culprits for killing Falun Gong for their organs, so it's not really a solution.'"

U.S. remains the largest cocaine market in the world Pravda.ru reported:

"International human rights lawyer David Matas was in his office when the story broke in March 2006. It flowed into his e-mail box along with the flood of human rights updates he reads daily." "It told the story of a woman under the pseudonym "Annie," whose husband suffered nightmares, as he suffered for the terror he had inflicted on more than 2,000 people." "Annie said her husband, a surgeon, was employed by the Chinese regime to remove the corneas from living Falun Gong practitioners, slicing their eyes open with his scalpel while they were still alive. The rest of their organs were also stripped from their bodies, all to feed a market of illicit organ trade." "When he told his wife, Annie, what he was doing, she left him and escaped to the United States to reveal the ongoing crime." "China claims it gets its organs from executed prisoners, but Kilgour and Matas found discrepancies between the number of reported executions and the number of transplants. They concluded that Falun Gong practitioners were the most likely source for 41,500 transplant operations conducted between 2000 and 2005." "They published their first report in July 2006, which they would follow with an expanded report and then their book, Bloody Harvest: The killing of Falun Gong for their organs , published in October 2009." "When the research of Kilgour and Matas was released, independent writer and researcher Ethan Gutmann was heading into Bangkok to interview Falun Gong practitioners who had recently escaped from China. Although he had doubts at first, through his own research he came to the same conclusion they had." "Based on his findings, he believes the CCP may have killed 65,000 Falun Gong practitioners for their organs. He said the estimation comes close to that found by Matas and

Canadian Nuclear Waste Shipment Faces Fury of Opposition TheEpochTimes.com reported: "A Canadian nuclear utility is facing fury from environmentalists over its plan to

send decommissioned nuclear generators to Sweden to be partially recycled." "The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission gave Bruce Power license to ship the 16 bus-sized steam generators...on a route that will see them traverse the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence Seaway." "Weather will delay the shipment until spring, but lawyers for environmental groups hope to delay it longer through an injunction to stop the last license needed for the Canadian portion of the route. Other approvals are still needed from the United States, United Kingdom, and Sweden." Lake Vostok Mystery Cyber-space-war.blogspot.com reported:

been reduced in recent years, according to the INCB (International Board for Narcotics Control)." "In 2009, 4.8 million people consumed some form of cocaine in the U.S., compared with 5.3 million in 2008," the INCB said in its report in 2010. With this number of consumers, the U.S. represents 41% of the international drug market, ahead of Europe, with 29%, according to the board, stating that "Although the market for cocaine has been reduced in North America, it continues to grow in Europe." "The INCB also revealed that between 1999 and 2007, the number of drug-related deaths has doubled reaching over 38,000 just in the last year. "One aspect that particularly troubled the Board is the increasing consumption of marijuana and prescription drugs containing controlled substances by young people of this country," said the agency responsible for overseeing the implementation of international treaties on drugs." "In fact, the overuse of drugs that can only be obtained by prescription is a major cause of addiction in the U.S., as the data indicates that 16 million people have used these substances in 2009, 800,000 more than last year."

"Mystery builds as Russians quit drilling for a season. The drill lies less than 50 feet from the subglacial Lake Vostok environment. The Russians left a two mile borehole filled with kerosene to prevent freezing, until drilling resumes in December. The mystery surrounding the lake is even thicker than the two miles of ice covering it. There is a reluctance to penetrate an environment that has been separated from the rest of the world for thousands of years. The pristine lake could be contaminated in the process, and release of pressurized gases is also a concern." "In 1974, British scientists did a radar survey by flying over Antarctica and uncovered the terrain below ice of predominantly mountains, and on Christmas Day, what appeared to be a lake. A satellite study by space-based radar in 1991 confirmed the presence of one of the largest lakes in the world. A documentary, "The Lost World of Lake Vostok," provides an excellent summary of efforts made in the discovery." WikiLeaks Slams Spielberg Movie Project Blogs.Forbes.com reported: "'This is how bullshit ends up being history,' reads a note from WikiLeaks twitter feed Wednesday." "'Spielberg lines up WikiLeaks film based on books by opportunists.'" "The tweet links to news that Steven Spielberg may be directing a movie about the WikiLeaks story produced by Dreamworks, based largely on the book WikiLeaks: Julian Assange's War On Secrecy, written by

two reporters at the British newspaper theGuardian, David Leigh and Luke Harding. Dreamworks has also purchased rights to another book by WikiLeaks defector Daniel DomscheitBerg, Inside WikiLeaks." "Both of those accounts have been heavily criticized by WikiLeaks and Julian Assange. The first details Assange's dispute with the Guardian after it independently obtained a copy of

the quarter million leaked State Department cables through journalist Heather Brooke and violated its agreement with Assange over the terms of the material's publication. The book also describes WikiLeaks' association with Israel Shamir, a Russian accused of anti-semitism. The latter claims became the subject of public debate earlier this week, when the British humor newspaper Private Eyepublished an account of an antisemitic rant by Assange, and WikiLeaks released a statement denying the account, along with any ties to Shamir." "In earlier interviews about the possibility of a WikiLeaks movie, Assange took a more lighthearted tone. He told one Brazilian interviewer that heinsisted his role be played by Will Smith." Who brought down the CIA website last Thursday? IntelNews.org reported: "US Federal officials as of Monday afternoon were still investigating the cause of a Thursday cyber incident that knocked offline the public website of the CIA and its unclassified e-mail system. The interference was isolated to CIA networks. Some cyber experts say the disruption may have been caused by a denial of service attack perpetrated by pranksters to show off their skills, rather than an act committed by a foreign government." Israeli cabinet minister to visit jailed spy in US IntelNews.org reported: "Israel's Communications Minister Moshe Kahlon is to make a visit next week to see Jonathan Pollard, an American serving a life term in a US jail for spying on the US for Israel. Israeli media claim that Kahlon will give Pollard a 'verbal message' from Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu."

Egypt's spies dragged from shadows IntelNews.org reported: "New evidence of spying and torture by Egypt's General Intelligence Services (GIS) has piled pressure on the country's military rulers to abolish the agency. After breaking into the GIS Cairo headquarters and ransacking archives, activists posted videos showing a torture chamber with a bloodstained floor and equipped with chains." Newly Obtained Homeland Security Documents Reveal Radical Shift In Internet Policy Act.DemandProgress.org reported: Internet user arrested for linking to other websites. "Brian McCarthy ran a website, channelsurfing.net, that linked to various sites where you could watch online streams

of TV shows and sports networks. A couple months ago, the government seized his domain name and on Friday they arrested him and charged him with criminal copyright infringement -- punishable by five years in prison." "We just obtained a copy of the complaint that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) made against him -- and they don't even allege that he made a copy of anything! Just that he ran what they call a "linking website" which linked to various sites with copyrighted material. Under that sort of thinking, everyone who's sent around a link to a copyrighted YouTube video is a criminal." Countless millions of dead fish found floating in Redondo Beach harbor Ethan A. Emotional Intelligence: Chickens feel one another's pain and elephants know when they need help PsychologyToday.com reported: "A few years ago a prestigious research group discovered that mice displayed empathy but caused a good deal of pain to the mice being studied. Now we've just learned that chickens also feel one another's pain. A research group at the University of Bristol, using non-invasive methods, showed for the first time that "domestic hens show a clear physiological and behavioural response when their chicks are mildly distressed." Mother hens and their chicks were exposed to puffs of air. "When the air puff was directed at the hens, they reacted with signs of fear, becoming more alert and preening less, and their eye temperature decreased. When their chicks were exposed to the puffs of air, the hens showed all these signs but in addition, their heart rate increased and they made more clucking calls to their chicks strong signs of their concern." "Previous research has shown that chickens are very intelligent so this new discovery is not all that surprising. For years, Karen Davis, president of United Poultry Concerns, has been telling is how smart and emotional birds are and that they deserve far better treatment then they receive in food processing facilities, truly torture chambers, around the world. Accumulating data from research on chickens (and other birds) support her views. Chickens kept in horrific conditions in battery cages on factory farms don't like it and they also feel the pain and suffering of other chickens who are crammed into these incredibly inhumane prisons. If you're eating chickens you're eating pain and misery and it's not a matter of WHAT'S for dinner it's a question of WHO'S for dinner because billions of sentient animals are slaughtered and tortured for unneeded meals." "Elephants also are making news once again. We all know how smart and emotional these amazing beings are and now we've learned that they will cooperate to pull two ends of the same rope to get obtain a reward and also that an elephant will wait for another elephant to come help knowing that there is no point to pulling the rope alone. "These findings suggest that the elephants had not simply learned to pull on the rope after their partner arrived at the apparatus. They seemed to understand that the cooperative task involved both animals pulling on a rope simultaneously. This puts their performance on a par with that of chimps and bonobos." "Like the many other animal dieoff events in recent months, experts have been quick to dismiss the situation and provide otherwise reasonable-sounding hypotheses for why the event occurred. One idea put forth by Sgt. Phil Keenan of the Redondo Beach Police Department suggests that there must have been too many anchovies packed into one area and that the oxygen supply in the water became depleted."

from states that border Canada, had asked for the beefed-up surveillance in a February letter to US Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano." and seizure of assets in many cases, because the government claims it is too tedious to give an explanation of the charges. "It would be extremely burdensome to give a list of charges," said the government's attorney, Douglas Letter, the Associated Press reported today: They made the argument in a case involving the government's seizure of assets belonging to the U.S. chapter of Al Haramain Islamic Foundation Inc., a Saudi Arabia-based charity. The case is being heard by a threejudge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Al Haramain attorney David Cole said outside court that representatives of Al Haramain were left in the dark after the organization was put on the global terrorist list. They continued to fight the designation without knowing what was driving it. Cole said he and other attorneys could have provided a much more effective defense for the organization if they knew the reasons for the charges. Organizations that are arbitrarily placed on the terror list who have their assets frozen are finding the burden of proof to be on them. Yet, they don't even know what they are supposed to prove given the lack of detailed charges. In a previous case, U.S. Judge, Gary Karr, ruled that freezing the assets of organizations suspected of terrorist ties has been done without due process by the Treasury Department. However, he also ruled that the "Treasury Department Office of Foreign Assets Control needed only a reasonable belief that the charity was a component of a larger organization that funds terrorism" to take action.

Scientists deliberately create 127 hybrid viruses from H1N1, then warn they are dangerous NaturalNews.com reported: "Chinese researchers recently warned the world in a study that the H1N1 virus is capable of combining with various other viruses to create "novel pandemic strains." Published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, the paper states that with the proper mixing host in place, viruses can swap genes and mutate into new strains -- and researchers discovered this by deliberately creating 127 of them in a laboratory." "After concocting these 127 hybrid viruses, researchers found that eight of them were more harmful than their parent viruses when tested in mice, according to a Reuters report. And researchers warn that these deadly mutant strains may one day be a serious threat to public health because they cause pneumonia, edema, and hemorrhaging." "'The main message is that the H1N1 can combine in certain ways with the H9N2 to create reassortants and some of the viruses had an increased pathogenicity comparing with the parent viruses in mice,' wrote Jinhua Liu, lead author of the study from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the China Agricultural University in Beijing, in an email to Reuters." "It is unclear why the researchers felt compelled to conduct such a study in the first place, considering that real-life reports from back in 2009 verified that H1N1 is capable of mutating with other virus strains (www.naturalnews.com/027503_U...). And why the researchers deliberately created a whopping 127 mutant strains leaves more questions than actual answers about the real agenda behind the study."

science Breastfed children do better at school, study finds | By PhysOrg.com RESEARCHERS HAVE SHOWN that breastfeeding causes children to do better at school. The research conducted by Oxford University and the Institute for Social and Economic Research, Essex University, found that as little as four weeks of breastfeeding for a newborn baby has a significant effect on brain development, which persists until the child is at least 14 years old. The researchers matched each breastfed baby with one or more babies who were not breastfed, but who were similar in all other respects. Test scores in reading, writing and mathematics for the children at ages five, seven, 11 and 14 revealed a statistically significant difference between those who had been breastfed as compared with those who had not. The research is published in a working paper 'The Effect of Breastfeeding on Children's Cognitive Development', which has yet to be peer reviewed. Breastfeeding is more likely to be practiced by mothers who are of higher social class with a higher IQ. The researchers needed to demonstrate whether the relationship between breastfeeding and brain development was caused by the breastfeeding

alone, or whether it was because mothers who breastfeed are likely to have more successful children anyway. They used a rich dataset from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children, which covers 12,000 children born in the early 1990s in the Bristol area. Babies were matched on a huge range of characteristics, including: their sex, gestational age, birth weight, their mother's age and marital status, parents' job status and education, and their home environment. Crucially, the researchers also used the parents' attitudes to breastfeeding as measured before birth. Co-author Dr. Almudena Sevilla-Sanz, from the Department of Economics and the Center for Time Use Research at Oxford University, said: "Comparing the test scores of groups of children matched in this way, we are effectively estimating the causal effect of breastfeeding. We find that breastfeeding does have a causal effect on children's cognitive outcomes. The difference is statistically significant across English, maths and science scores, and persists into secondary school. Indeed, there is some evidence that the effect tends to grow over time." "Miracle" Anti-Cancer Nutrient: Groundbreaking Vitamin D Research |

by Mike Adams

THE REIGN OF CENSORSHIP and suppression against vitamin D is now coming to an end. Even though the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and many institutions leading the cancer industry (including the ACS) have intentionally tried to downplay the ability of vitamin D to prevent cancer, a new study appearing in the journal Anticancer Research lays out the simple, powerful truth about vitamin D that we've been teaching at NaturalNews for years: A typical adults needs 4,000 8,000 IUs of vitamin D each day to prevent cancer, MS and type-1 diabetes, not the ridiculously low 400 - 800 IUs recommended by the U.S. government. The new research was conducted by scientists at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha. It is groundbreaking research because it establishes the relationship between vitamin D dosage and circulating vitamin D levels in the blood. This is a first. It is crucial information for the health care revolution that will be necessary to save states and nations from total health care bankruptcy in the coming years. Vitamin D turns out to be one of the simplest, safest and most affordable ways to prevent degenerative disease and sharply reduce long-term health care costs. Up to 8,000 IUs needed daily "We found that daily intakes of vitamin D by adults in the range of 4,000 to 8,000 IU [international units] are needed to maintain blood levels of vitamin D metabolites in the range needed to reduce by about half the risk of several diseases -- breast cancer, colon cancer, multiple sclerosis and type 1 diabetes," said Dr. Cedric

Garland. (health.ucsd.edu/news/2011/02...) Dr. Garland is the professor of family and preventive medicine at the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center. He went on to say: "I was surprised to find that the intakes required to maintain vitamin D status for disease prevention were so high -- much higher than the minimal intake of vitamin D of 400 IU/day that was needed to defeat rickets in the 20th century." Study reveals 90% vitamin D deficiency rate across U.S. population This particular study involved over 3,000 volunteers who were taking vitamin D supplements. Researchers drew blood samples from them in order to determine their levels of 25-vitamin D (the common form circulating in the blood). The results were shocking even to the study authors, revealing that 90 percent of those studied were deficient in vitamin D, falling below the 40 - 60 ng/ml range now considered healthy. (Most nutritionally-aware experts in the natural health world recommend higher ranges of 60 - 70 ng/ml, actually.) The U.S. government's Institute of Medicine has intentionally downplayed vitamin D recommendations, seemingly in an effort to keep boosting the profits of the cancer industry by denying any real benefit to vitamin D. The IOMs most recent recommendations seemed designed to actually cause vitamin D deficiency in the U.S. population (www.naturalnews.com/030598_v...). The IOM has even gone out of its way to artificially lower the threshold of vitamin D deficiency by claiming that 20 ng/ml is a sufficient level. This magically transforms a "deficient" person into a "non-defi-

cient" person by merely changing the definition. So a person with a level of 22 ng/ml, for example, is not considered "vitamin D deficient" by the established medical system, even though their vitamin D levels are so low that they may not be able to prevent cancer, MS or type-1 diabetes. Why the truth about vitamin D is a huge threat to the established for-profit medical system As NaturalNews has documented and reported many times over the last several years, the medical establishment -- and especially the cancer industry -- has willfully engaged in attempts to prevent people from learning the truth about vitamin D in order to protect the lucrative profits generated from sickness and disease. Vitamin D represents a greater threat to the medical establishment than any other single nutrient for three reasons: 1) Vitamin D is FREE (you can get it from the sun, without a prescription). 2) Vitamin D prevents over a dozen high-profit diseases and health conditions (osteoporosis, cancer, diabetes, MS, and others). 3) Vitamin D is extremely safe, even when taken in supplement form, because it's a natural vitamin / hormone that the body recognizes. The Myth of The Normal Mammogram | By Dr. Sherri Tenpenny

In my experience, it's not often that pro-mammogram literature or textbooks tell the truth about the limitations of mammography so imagine my surprise when I came across this section in the 1,100 page textbook I'm studying called, "Breast Imaging", by Dr. Daniel B. Kopans.

Dr. Kopans clearly states that a mammogram is "simply a measuring tool to assess if you have cancer"‌yet. But women have a different perception of their annual exams. In fact, a 1999 study revealed that 44 percent of women believe screening mammography had a sensitivity of 100 percent, meaning, they believe that mammograms find every breast cancer. This is not only untrue, it is an unrealistic expectation of any medical test. In fact, the Breast Cancer Detection Demonstration Project, a large epidemiological study first done in the 1970s, found that a combination of mammography and clinical breast exam failed to detect at least 20 percent of cancers. (Kaplan, p148). This statistic has remained fairly constant to the present day.

"Because screening does not detect all cancers and does not detect all cancers sufficiently early to permit cure, screening should not be thought of as a method to reassure someone she does not have cancer. [emphasis was added by the book's author] Screening is purely a chance to detect some cancers early in their development, at a time when intervention may be able to alter the course of the disease‌It should be understood that, given the present state of the art, screening does not detect all cancers or save all women, and there is still not a test or combination of tests that can guarantee a women does not have breast cancer. Screening is not the solution to the breast cancer problems, but until universal cure is developed or safe methods of prevention are discovered, screening with mammography can save many lives." (Kopans, pg. 146) This is a revelation all women should understand: A normal mammogram does not mean a storm is not just over the horizon. Most women who receive a report that their mammogram is normal breathe a sigh of relief. For some, they have been lulled into a false sense of security. It can take up to 9 years for the fastest growing cancers to be detected by mammogra-

phy. What if your scan is normal‌and it's year 8? I've heard women say, "I have to get my mammogram so I don't get cancer." They've said it with the same perky voice I've heard them announce, "I have to get my flu shot so I don't get sick!" Why is a flu shot viewed as something that provides health, like it's a shot of B12, instead of understanding a flu shot for what it is: an injection of a toxic substance? The same idea applies to a mammogram. It's not prevention. It's a dose of radiation, a toxic substance, promoted as something good for your health.

False positive and False negative mammograms While radiologists use a strict set of criteria for interpreting the films, the interpretation of a breast x-ray is challenging. A mammogram looks like white blobs and scratches across a black board. If you've never seen one, ask your doctor to see your films the next time you have a mammogram. It's an educational moment worth having and can explain why mammograms do not - and cannot - detect every cancer, especially at its smallest, earliest stage. A false-positive mammogram means that something appears abnormal on the film, but then turns out to be a false alarm. Over a 10 year period, approximately 24 percent of women who have an annual mammogram will have at least one false-positive mammogram. Suspicious findings require a woman to be called back for "extra views" and more

continued.... radiation exposure. An inconclusive mammogram can lead to an ultrasound, and most likely a biopsy, where 8 of 10 are found to be normal. A false-negative x-ray, on the other hand, means cancer is present but not detected by the mammogram or is overlooked the radiologist who did the interpretation. In 1982, the false-negative rate for screening mammography was found to be 8 to 10 percent. A decade later, some authors have suggested the false-negative rate was as high as 25 percent. Dense breast tissue can compromise the ability of a

Infrared breast scans have been dismissed by conventional physicians as unreliable, claiming that the tool produces "too many false positives." But a false-positive infrared scan means the image was abnormal, but did not have a corresponding abnormality found on a mammogram. However, unlike a falsepositive mammogram, a positive-infrared image is the single most important marker and risk factor for a developing cancer. It is a warning sign of an abnormality requiring action to normalize and resolve the inflammation. It is a call to action that conventional

common use today. Technology progresses in every area; tools used today for breast thermography are vastly improved over equipment used twenty years ago. The results proved its usefulness in the 1980s; the new tools make it even more valuable and effective today. Many studies over the last 25 years have shown the value of adding infrared imaging to an abnormal mammogram. One example, done study done in 2008 and published by the American Society of Breast Surgeon, was a prospective clinical trial of 92 women who had an infrared scan

Because screening does not detect all cancers and does not detect all cancers sufficiently early to permit cure, screening should not be thought of as a method to reassure someone she does not have cancer. mammogram to detect a mass, and lesions located near the sternum (breast bone) or near the chest wall can be difficult to visualize. A false-negative test can explain why one year the report is normal and the very next year, cancer is diagnosed. Adding a safe test Infrared Breast Imaging, we call IRBI for short, has been in used since the 1960s. The technology was originally designed for the U.S. military to use for night vision exercises but was found to have many medical applications. In 1982, the FDA approved infrared imaging to be used as an adjunctive tool for the diagnosis of breast cancer. The designation was granted due to the difference in biology between a cluster of inflamed cells and a cluster of normal cells without inflammation. The increased heat, indentifying a problem, could be easily and non-invasively identified with an infrared scan.

medicine has ignored because it has little understanding of how apply dietary changes, lifestyle changes and supplements to heal the breast. Accuracy of IRBI scanning The bulk of the research involving breast thermography was conducted in the 1980s. State-of-the-art, ultra-sensitive infrared cameras and sophisticated computer software have evolved to detect, analyze, and produce high-resolution images. The problems encountered with early generation infrared camera systems, such as improper detector sensitivity, excessive thermal drift, calibration problems, analog interface, first generation software, etc. have been solved for almost two decades. Think about the difference between black and white televisions and new plasma screen TVs. Consider the evolution from the first computers which were housed in rooms, to the handheld gigabyte gadgets in

added to a suspicious lesion identified by mammography. The scan correctly identified cancer with a sensitivity of up to 97 percent and a negative predictive value of 82 percent. For infrared nay-sayers, the facts speak for themselves. Infrared Breast Imaging, an IRBI scan, can provide important information as a stand-alone test and as a value-added to a suspicious mammogram. As an additional benefit, an infrared scan is painless and uses no radiation. Dr. Kaplan's textbook assessment is correct: Screening is not the solution to breast cancer. Redefining the meaning of "early detection" as a step to restore unhealthy breasts back to wellness and vigor, is a step in the right direction. It's time to put this technology in its rightful place as an adjunctive screening tool for women and for breast health. More on this subject, go to TheAgoraNational.ca or www.drtenpenny.com

Canadian Swan Song |

by Dee Nicholson

I never thought it'd come to this. I thought Canadians had more intelligence. AS I WATCH, my country is disappearing before my very eyes, while those of my compatriots are glued to TSN, American Idol, or some mind-numbing wireless device. Very neatly, the direst predictions of the onset of a world government are becoming a tawdry reality, with whole nations in thrall to some form of external rule, whether by trade groups or by the IMF. And today the news broke that known tax-evader Tim Geithner, US Secretary of the Treasury, announced that America will back calls for a global reserve currency, to be administered by none other than the International Monetary Fund. And who controls the International Monetary Fund? None other than NM Rothschild & Sons, together with more than 30 of the world's wealthiest people. That pretty much means that the Rothschild bankers, the key element of the Illuminati, literally control all the money in the world, and issue their own currency. This brings to mind an original Illuminatus, Mayer Amschel Rothschild, who said: "Give me control over a nation's money, and I care not who makes its laws." It may have taken a few hundred years, but the bankers are that close to taking over the planet. Of course, it's not so surprising that Geithner would make such an announcement, as nations scramble to adjust currency and the US dollar has all the buoyancy of a lead balloon: it could be argued that submitting to a world currency could help the US diminish its embarrassment over its own floppy financial organ, in a saved-bythe-bell sort of way. Far too few Canadians noticed the non-sequitur of Emperor Harperius, as first he boasted loudly of how our (sovereign) banking regulations had saved us from the ravages of the global financial debacle of 2009, and then handed our banking sovereignty, and the right to keep those same regulations, ceremoniously and publicly, over to the G20. Harperius made so bold as to say for the record that it was indeed a loss of sovereignty, but (insert imperial shrug and hand gesture here) "it's a simple fact of life." Far too few Canadians are noticing that this country is in some sort of undeclared state of emergency

(as is the USA, proven by researcher extraordinaire Rebecca Em Campbell), which is the justification for the abrogation of our civil rights. Canucks have not yet spotted the code words 'safety' and 'security' which are the currency of governments passing draconian, rights-squelching laws like the nefarious Bill C-36. Meanwhile, our Justice Minister, Rob Nicholson (no relation), repeatedly emphasizes that our "rights are subject to interpretation". Who died and elected him God? And then, by Harperian edict, the Canada-US Perimeter

national European Union standards, and the EU Food Safety Directives, which have oozed onto the Euroscene at glacial speed since 2005, stand ready to turn the tatters of our health freedoms into dust. I could go on and on, about our water, our energy, our oil, our labor force, our nanny state and our need for a nanny-cam. I could point to the devious words causing people to think collectively, which comprise nothing more than an order to conform: words like 'sustainable', or 'green', and even 'human rights'. I could show you ICLEI, a UN "sustainable community" program that usurps municipal rights, and from which some cities are thankfully withdrawing. I could as well show you an octopus with a tentacle suckered onto every aspect of our lives. My country is disappearing before my very eyes. Before your very eyes. With every trade agreement, a piece of your right to speak goes away. Your right to speak, and to be heard, is central to the meaning of the word 'democracy', and its fuel, which Harperius himself calls "the lifeblood of democracy", is true information, without which we are nothing but slaves to a system. Bear in mind, this is a system gone bureaucratically berserk. The employees rule the employers, and the employers sit on their thumbs. Metaphorically speaking, the idiots have taken over the asylum, but most Canadians think if you change idiots you'll have a different asylum. Perhaps they ought to take a peek at Kiefer Sutherland's granddaddy, Tommy Douglas, telling the "Mouseland" story on YouTube. Maybe watching the hilarious animation will crack that paradigm. But for far too many Canadians, the haunting swan song of the nation that was once God's gift to His children is drowned out by the latest performances of barely-pubescent American Idol hopefuls, or the furor over

My country is disappearing before my very eyes. Before your very eyes. Security Agreement is being crafted, and it requires the harmonization of many of our regulations, including consumer products. Since Bill C-36 just established Napoleonic Code (where you are guilty until proven innocent) in that area, Americans can look forward to being tuned to that frequency in short order. We're told that we have the freedom to set our own security standards for the Canada-US boundary, but it's only fair to mention that the Americans have said that the "thinness" of what once was "the world's longest undefended border" is going to depend entirely on how well we match up to their standards. Those standards include things like retinal scans and all sorts of biometric information to be shared internationally. With this agreement, the American government will be privy to all our information. Now we're all to be treated like criminals, but wait, that's nothing! We're far from done. Next, we have the incredibly far-reaching CETA, which opens the door to foreign control over just about everything you can think of plus the kitchen sink. It puts "For Sale" signs on our resources, and lifts restrictions on bidding for our public purchasing contracts, all the way down to City Hall. Yet ask a provincial or municipal politician do they know anything about CETA, and you will be lucky to get a blank stare. Let's not forget that this treaty aligns Canada with

head shots in the NHL. The rest of Canada has its collective nose glued to the screen of some electronic device. These same people will cheer for Egyptians, who roundly tossed their government out on its ear (notwithstanding they may have had substantial help from alphabet-soup gangs), yet will blithely shrug their shoulders and say "you can't fight City hall" when their own rights and freedoms swirl in the bowl. Go figure. There is only one solution here, and most with the ability to think critically already get it: we must get rid of all politicians who do not take direction from their electors, regardless of party, and if we are to have government at all, it must be by those who would protect what is being given away by both Liberals and Conservatives: our self-governance, our sovereignty. Only the NDP is squawking about CETA, yet this same party approved Bill C-36, which opened the door of Health Canada to foreign controls, even though they were fully informed. We cannot entrust the management of our house to those who would sell it out from under us. You do see what I mean. Don't you? Canada's swan song is ringing in my ears. A swan song is something the fat lady sings, which is usually when the show ends. Canada, are you out there? www.canadiansforhealthfreedom.wordpress.com

No Justice, No Peace: CBC’s Shame |

SINCE JUNE 2010, the Agora has been covering the story of Tim Moorley and his fight against Fraser Health Authority and Pfizer. In our last update we detailed that CBC Go Public reporter, Kathy Tomlinson, was looking into Mr. Moorley's story. Mrs. Tomlinson spent a few weeks consulting various doctors and medical professionals in a attempt to verify Mr. Moorley's allegations that he is missing the arterial septum wall in his heart. Now

specialized tests. A PFO allows venous blood (low oxygen count) to enter directly into the arteries, which can increase the risk of deadly blood clots. After taking Celebrex for a few months, Mr. Moorley had a toe amputated and lost the tip of a finger because of blood clots. After consulting a doctor he was told that similar COX-2 inhibitors had been proven to cause blood clots and was advised to file a class

his own pocket to have an independent echocardiograph done in Washington state. The results clearly show that a PFO, leading the doctor to advise immediate medical treatment. It seems like the FHA has black listed Mr. Moorley, as he has been denied another echocardiogram by many doctors, who also refuse to take him as a patient. As long as the FHA refuses to administer another test, he

the CBC has backed down on covering the story, with little explanation from Mrs. Tomlinson except that, "it will be hard to find a doctor to testify," and that she, "doesn't own CBC and can't make them do a story." Mr. Moorley alleges that doctors in the FHA deliberately faked the results of his heart tests. The reason that for concealing Mr. Moorley's heart tests has yet to be proven, but the most likely motivation is Mr. Moorley's class action lawsuit against Pfizer. The lawsuit alleges that Pfizer put the pain killer Celebrex on the market knowing that it causes blood clots and has the potential to kill or seriously injure anyone with a patent foramen ovale (PFO), and they failed to warn doctors prescribing Celebrex of this potentially fatal side effect. PFOs occur in about 20% of the population, but usually cause no symptoms, and can only be detected by

action lawsuit against Pfizer. The next step was to prove that he had a PFO. The FHA has performed two echocardiograms on Mr. Moorley. The first test was done at Surrey Memorial Hospital, who after possible contact from Pfizer, denied having ever performed it. After being hounded by Mr. Moorley the hospital admitted to having done the test, but the results had been lost. The second test was performed after The Surrey Leader provided some coverage about the first test being lost by Surrey Memorial Hospital. The second test was performed under video surveillance, with one of the echocardiogram technicians walking out of the room in apparent disgust. Mr Moorley alleges that they swapped his results with another patient's, someone without a PFO. Mr. Moorley was forced to pay money out of

will not receive the relatively simple surgery to close the PFO. Tim Moorley's health and life are in jeopardy. At any time a blood clot could pass through his PFO and seriously compromise his health or even kill him. All of the doctors that know what has happened and have lied are disregarding their hippocratic oath. In my opinion, they should be charged with attempted murder. Now we can add CBC to the list of coward, bossed and bought media, unwilling to cover Mr. Moorley's story. It joins a long line of major and minor newspapers, television channels, and radio stations. It is disgraceful to know that "our" publicly owned broadcasting company won't go to bat for us, that it shies away from controversial issues at the behest of major corporations and would rather protect the careers of unethical doctors, leaving Mr. Moorley in a precarious life or death situation.

RISE LIKE LIONS AFTER SLUMBER: NOTES ON A EUROPEAN JOURNEY |

by Kevin Annett www.itccs.org

The main square in Manchester, England was flooded with 10,000 and more people that morning in 1819 when cotton mill workers and their families gathered peacefully to demand the right to vote. An hour later, hundreds of them were dead, sabered and trampled down by the local yeoman cavalry in the pay of the wealthy landowners who ruled the nation. The bleeding crowd spilled in to the local Quaker Meeting House, where a commemorative banner showing the slaughter still hangs defiantly in the front hall. The poet Percy Shelley lived nearby, and when he heard of the crime he hurried to the bloody square and angrily wrote these words about the Peterloo Massacre: Rise like Lions after Slumber, in unvanquishable number. Shake your chains to earth like dew, which in sleep had fallen on you. Ye are Many; they are Few. Today, I stood outside the Manchester Quaker House that had offered sanctuary to these targeted poor, and I bent down and placed a few small pieces of the pavement in my hand: relics which are literally soaked with the blood of these brave and remembered people. And I felt Shelley's words born anew in my heart. So little has changed in two centuries. Tyranny and violence may rule as strongly as ever, but so does an

meeting people like Doris, and though few in number, we are sure of one another; and already our numbers are growing, for we are part of a wave of awakening. Last week in Liverpool, six hundred people invaded a court room and tried to arrest a particularly corrupt judge who had imposed an unjust local council tax. The judge fled, and the police were helpless. For awhile, a common law court, free of crown and cruelty, was declared by the people there gathered. Their example, broadcast by You Tube around the world, is being taken up by free and sovereign people everywhere. The survivors of genocide in Canada, and England, are part of this common law declaration of sovereignty, for too many of them have learned that the institutions of Crown and Church that caused the crime will never do the time. In what we call Vancouver, Canada, sovereign Squamish nation chief Kiapilano ordered the Catholic, United and Anglican churches off his land recently because of their murder of his people, and he has now imposed a commercial lien on their property and assets. He is finished waiting for justice from bodies incapable of it. Part of my work is to bring together Kiapilano and many like him into an International Tribunal that will place the guilty on trial, in true common law fashion. The opening session will be in London, England on September 12, but many gatherings will be held around the world at the same time to turn the tables

tained and won again by the same courage and struggle. Manchester has also made me remember our own recent martyrs in Vancouver, like William Combes, murdered in a hospital, and Bingo Dawson, beaten to death by three cops. Being aboriginal, neither man made the news, even when they led our protests against child-murdering churches. But like the Peterloo victims, their names and example are written forever on the hearts of those of us who are challenging the descending tyranny. It's time for more of you to join our thin but enduring ranks. You can do this April 15, by rallying with us and on your own outside the churches responsible for killing the innocent, on our Seventh Aboriginal Holocaust Memorial Day. Kevin Annett is a community minister, writer and awardwinning film maker, and is the Secretary of the International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State (www.itccs.org). Kevin will be conducting a book launch and reading on April 7 at 6:30 pm at Banyen Books, 3608 west 4th ave. in Vancouver. See the evidence of Genocide in Canada at www.hiddennolonger.com and at the website of The International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State at www.itccs.org. unbreakable determination to be free among so many men and women who I keep meeting on this speaking tour across Europe. I came here to speak of the slaughter of Indian children by church and state in Canada, and I quickly found that the same crime was committed by the same actors in this nation: like that which was done to Doris Lloyd when she was forced to work as a slave laborer in a catholic orphanage at age three, and faced daily rape and torture. In England, or Ireland, or Canada, the church and its state accomplice murdered, raped and enslaved children with impunity, and like the bloody Manchester yeomanry, got away with slaughtering so many. Our gatherings are small, but filled with people like Doris, who stood for the first time and shared her struggle in the meeting where I was reading from my new book Unrepentant: Disrobing the Emperor. Across Denmark, Slovenia, Italy, Ireland, and England, I keep

on self-governing and unaccountable institutions like the Vatican and its other churchly counterparts. How? By imposing our own sentences on the churches and governments that stole land, murdered children and protect the guilty. "Evict the bastards from their churches" declared one survivor of church torture to me this week in northern England, when I asked people what we should do to get justice. "Take their collection plates and distribute the money to the crowds. Take over their bloody churches and start arresting the child rapists who hide out in there. We know who they are." England, unlike Canada, is a land of direct action rebels. Maybe in fleeing from persecution to somebody else's land, Canadians forgot what it meant to say no to the powerful and do battle with them. But I was reminded today in the streets of Manchester that our ancestors won our liberties with their blood; and those rights can only be main-

UNREPENTANT on his website www.hiddenfromhistory.org "We will bring to light the hidden works of darkness and drive falsity to the bottomless pit. For all doctrines founded in fraud or nursed by fear shall be confounded by Truth." Kevin's ancestor Peter Annett, writing in The Free Inquirer, October 17, 1761, just before being imprisoned by the English crown for "blasphemous libel" "I gave Kevin Annett his Indian name, Eagle Strong Voice, in 2004 when I adopted him into our Anishinabe Nation. He carries that name proudly because he is doing the job he was sent to do, to tell his people of their wrongs. He speaks strongly and with truth. He speaks for our stolen and murdered children. I ask everyone to listen to him and welcome him." Chief Louis Daniels - Whispers Wind Elder, Turtle Clan, Anishinabe Nation, Winnipeg, Manitoba

Child Poverty in West Vancouver? |

by Betty Krawczyk

CHILD POVERTY IN WEST VANCOUVER? In that affluent municipality? Well, yes and no, according to Tom Fletcher's article entitled Time to Enrich Poverty Debate in BC (March 9, Comox Valley Record). Mr. Fletcher bases his concept of child poverty in BC on the ideas of Liberal MLA Ralph Sultan of West Vancouver. In a paper called Child Poverty in West Vancouver, Ralph Sultan takes issue with the Statistics Canada report on child poverty that gave BC such a shiner. Where did Mr. Sultan go for his research? Well, West Vancouver. The same West Vancouver I became acquainted with in 2006 in a blockade at

support. And while Mr. Sultan claims that "his personal cause at the moment" is to get single mothers back into the work force he sneers at Quebec's provincially subsidized day care. The cost to parents for day care in Quebec is seven dollars a day, or one hundred and forty dollars a month, which is the lowest in Canada. In BC the average cost for day

And then to add insult to injury, these same BC Liberals love to quote Bible verses Eagleridge Bluffs. The Bluffs were destroyed by Kevin Falcon, then Liberal Transportation Minister, in order to save about six minutes getting to the Olympics in Whistler. Still, this is an odd place to go to research a paper on child poverty. West Vancouver is the wealthiest municipality in BC and one of the top contenders for that title in all of Canada. Over seventy per cent of the homes in West Vancouver are worth well over a million dollars. Nevertheless, this is where Mr. Fletcher studies child poverty in BC to prove there isn't any. Or when there is that it is primarily single women with children, some immigrants, and First Nations people on reserves who are responsible for clogging up the child poverty statistics that make BC look bad. Especially single women with children. It's their fault, Mr. Sultan seems to imply, that they and their children are poor. Never mind that outside the ethnic communities marriages now break down nearly half of the time and many will leave women with a child or two to

AGORA PICK-UP LOCATION

care is six hundred to seven hundred dollars a month which is the highest in the nation. So we have both the highest child poverty rates in Canada and also the highest cost for day care in Canada. No wonder the population in BC is shrinking. If it weren't for immigration we would be in serious trouble. When women are expected to be both producers (get and keep outside jobs) and reproducers (make the babies, feed and water them to adulthood and be ready with abject Mea Culpas if things go off the rails in the process) without adequate affordable social services, then many women decide to pass on reproducing altogether. Quebec is smarter. That province has leaders intelligent enough to recognize that population declines when governments refuse to provide adequate help with the costs of rearing children. And they don't want to rely on immigration for population num-

bers as BC has done for years now. Instead of relying indefinitely on immigration for a viable provincial population, Quebec leaders are concentrating on growing their own. And to do this, the Quebec government knows it has to provide better services for Quebec women in order for them to feel comfortable about being able to provide for their children after they have them. And not just help when a child is starving or dying (in BC one child in three in the care of the province goes to bed hungry at night). In BC we also need programs that lends support where needed in all of the steps of child rearing, for all children of BC, not just the most desperately poor. This province needs leaders who recognize that children must be a priority. What we don't need are more pompous, sanctimonious pronouncements by BC Liberal Party politicians and correspondents, who, in my opinion, can't write, can't reason, and understand nothing about the lives of women and children outside their own class which includes most of the women and children in BC. And then to add insult to injury, these same BC Liberals love to quote Bible verses, especially the one where Jesus said: "Lo, the poor will be with you always". This it to reassure the affluent people of West Vancouver where Mr. Ralph Sultan reigns as Liberal MLA that they do not have to fret about child poverty in the rest of BC. Get it? Because child poverty is sanctified by Jesus Christ. The Bible says so! www.bettysearlyedition.blogspot.com

the conspiracy king review Franklin Scandal; A Story of Powerbrokers, Child Abuse & Betrayal | by Nick Bryant ALLEGATIONS OF CRIMES, conspiracies, and cover-ups in the heart of the United States. A CHILLING EXPOSÉ of corporate corruption and government cover-ups, this account of a nationwide child-trafficking and pedophilia ring in the United States tells a sordid tale of corruption in high places. The scandal originally surfaced during an investigation into Omaha, Nebraska's failed Franklin Federal Credit Union and took the author beyond the Midwest and ultimately to Washington, DC. Implicating businessmen, senators, major media corporations, the CIA, and even the venerable Boys Town organization, this extensively researched report includes firsthand interviews with key witnesses and explores a controversy that has received scant media attention. The FRANKLIN SCANDAL is the story of a nationwide pedophile ring that pandered children to a cabal of the rich and powerful. The ring's pimps were a pair of Republican powerbrokers who used Boys Town as a pedophiliac reservoir, had access to the highest levels of our government, and connections to the CIA. Nebraska legislators nearly exposed the ring in 1990, but its unveiling had the potential to produce seismic political aftershocks, so a rash of deaths and a full court press by federal and local law enforcement effected an immaculate cover-up. State and federal grand juries in Nebraska and a former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia played an

The Agora | 12

integral role in the cover-up, and the author has had access to thousands of documents that would ultimately be sealed by the two grand juries. My documentation includes Omaha Police Department reports and internal memos, Nebraska State Patrol reports, Nebraska Department of Social Services reports, internal Boys Town reports, victim debriefings, hundreds of the ring's airline receipts, etc. The power elite sating their appetite for forbidden fruit via pedophilia and pedophiliac sadism is an evil that dates back millennia: Roman emperor Tiberius reportedly indulged in pedophilia and then murdered his victims. Moreover, pedophile rings linked to the powerful have recently been exposed in Belgium, Portugal, Chile, and Mexico. The FRANKLIN SCANDAL will be the first commercially-published book to tell the tale of a power elite pedophile ring in the U.S. and also of the coverup of its heinous crimes. Various news organizations have attempted to break aspects of this story, but the reports have either been ignored or mysteriously shelved. Major news agencies, including ABC, have backed away from pursuing this story; conversely, CBS abetted its cover-up. It's obvious that very powerful people have a vested interest in safeguarding this secret. 432 pgs. Hardcover. Available at www.conspiracyking.com

Theories Why We're Experiencing Increased Earthquake Activity 8.9 Quake Devastates Japan

PLANET EARTH has experienced a very noticeable up-tick in earthquake activity and intensity over the last five years. Leading up to the great Japan quake, we've witnessed the utter devastation from the 2004 Indian Ocean megathrust earthquake and tsunami, the catastrophic Haiti quake, an axis-moving Chile quake in 2010, massive and multiple quakes in New Zealand, and record earthquake swarms hitting Yellowstone and the New Madrid Fault line in middle America culminating with the worst earthquake in 35 years to hit the area, and many more. The devastating effects on human civilization are on full display in the most recent 8.9 earthquake in Japan. The powerful quake and corresponding tsunami showed that not even a fully developed nation with the world's third largest economy can withstand nature's fury. This was also evident in the New Zealand quakes which continue to demolish the firstworld city of Christchurch. Evidence of increased tectonic activity aside, the great Japan quake of 2011 will go down as the event that finally woke up humanity from their slumber to recognize the potential damage quakes can and will cause. The huge quakes in Haiti and Chile last year indicated the power of such activity, but the effects of the nuclear meltdown happening in Japan will likely have global consequences that force society to challenge our conventional path. This new awareness of our fragile existence in the face of such powerful forces of nature has brought about many theories as to why earthquake activity is increasing. Many will brush it off as natural occurrences without understanding that everything in nature is caused by something, whether or not it can be seen or measured. Indeed, we are witnessing many earth changes happening for the first time in modern history. And perhaps all of these anomalies are connected in some way, or at least compounding nature's recent wrath.

Here are five theories as to the cause of increased earthquake activity: Solar and Lunar Activity: Meteorologist and astrophysicist Piers Corbyn claims a combination of solar

activity and the extreme lunar cycle is the cause of the increased earthquakes. He's not alone. On March 9th, NASA reported a powerful solar flare, an X1.5-class explosion from behemoth sunspot 1166 around 2323 UT, which they said would cause 'global disturbances'. On March 10th, Space.com posed the question "Will March 19 'Supermoon' Trigger

earthquakes seen in 2010, as well as the recent mega-quakes. According to proponents of this theory, pole shift is a geomagnetic event that exerts pressure on the Earth's tectonic plates. As the pole wanders, the core and plates realign producing fluctuations and great upheaval until the crust can stabilize. The lights in the sky that have been record-

HAARP: Researchers into the potential for earthquake creation cite HAARP and its various counterpart arrays around the world as a principal theory for recent mega-quakes such as those in Haiti, Chile, and now Japan. In fact, the Department of Defense gave a briefing on the subject while discussing weapons of mass destruction in 1997. As observable evidence of such atmospheric tampering, researchers point to the correlations between visual anomalies such as colorful light displays and a characteristic wave pattern with a "punch hole" evident in cloud formations associated with these recent mega-quakes. Climate Change: Some climatologists believe that shifting ice caps can have an effect on tectonic activity because the massive weight of the ice is changing locations. Global warming alarmists have sought to pin the great Japan quake on the disappearing ice, however they seem to lose some credibility as polar ice is

| Shifting Polar Ice - U.S. Navy Polar Ice Prediction System actually increasing according to the U.S. Navy Polar Ice Prediction System [Editor's Note: The Navy system measurements were from 2009-2011]. Yet, it seems feasible that even shifting ice, which appears to be moving in the direction of the North Pole shift, may indeed affect the flotation of the earth's outer crust. This could conceivably cause some tectonic movement and be partially related to some earthquake activity. Gas Fracking: Since September of 2010, nearly 800 earthquakes rattled Arkansas and the New Madrid Fault Line. The entire state only experienced 38 quakes in 2009. Hydraulic fracturing is the most likely cause of increased earthquakes. Hydraulic fracturing (fracking) pumps water and chemicals into the ground at a pressurized rate exceeding what the bedrock can withstand, resulting in a microquake that produces rock fractures. A close look at Arkansas' history of earthquakes and drilling reveals a shockingly noticeable surge in quake frequency following advanced drilling. Although, fracking is now a global technique for finding natural gas, it's unlike to be the cause of major earthquakes in Japan, New Zealand, Chile, or Haiti. - infowars.com

SEVENTY PER CENT OF US OWN HOMES. Mortgage debt's gruesome. Affordability sucks. So most families save nothing. Never have we gambled so much on houses. And has any politician talked about real estate yet? Of course not. Tax credits for piano lessons, money for tuition, cheaper credit cards and an add-on to the CPP - all interesting, but basically irrelevant. A week into this federal election campaign we just don't know where the parties stand on, say, banks giving mortgages to people with no money, CMHC's unfunded liability, zerodown financing, taxpayer-subsidized real estate speculation, wall-to-wall debt, spiraling property and land transfer taxes or how anyone justifies a SFH price of $1 million in a city where families make $83,000. In fact, real estate stuff - while at the very core of middle class finances - leaves most elected people flummoxed. In the Spring of 2008, still an MP, I published the

Deja vu all over again. But here's one post-election result it looks like you can count on - an interest rate increase on May 31st. Given blog dog Mark Carney's recent comments about leaping commodity prices along with his ceaseless warnings about our ongoing debt fetish, it's almost certain. Carney has the numbers showing how real estate has completely messed up family balance sheets. Only by turning off the taps of cheap credit can he hope to do something about it. And this will come on the heels of what's turned out to be a crappy Spring real estate market in most parts of the country. In Toronto, March sales (they'll be announced next week) are running below last year's levels, making this the tenth consecutive month of YoY sales declines. As far as I know, that hasn't happened for 18 years. Sales are also brutal in the Okanagan Valley,

Right in the middle of an election campaign stocks markets tanked, fear exploded, jobs vanished and nobody could sell a house. Today there's a good case for believing risk is higher. Few of the reasons the world came to the brink of depression have been addressed. Governments owe far more. Most families have borrowed their brains out, while putting less in their RRSPs and more into paving stones and drywall. The Home Reno Tax Credit, all on its own, was responsible for adding billions to personal lines of credit, as people did all they could to spend $10,000 so they could 'save' $1,500. Argh. Meanwhile, there's a new war in Arabia, melting nukes in Japan, near-depression in America and too many people here tell pollsters when it comes to retirement, they're probably screwed. And the government party offers a $75 tax credit for art classes. Ah well. In the last election the guy who won said there would be no deficit in Canada. And we bought it.

prime Ontario cottage country, Edmonton, great swaths of the GTA and most of the Lower Mainland outside of nutty Richmond and volcanic Vancouver. In short, there are more markets in decline right now than ascending. And how could it be otherwise? People simply don't have more money to spend - they just have a capacity for debt. As I've said before, were it not for cheap rates and government stimulus, we'd be back swapping squirrel muffin recipes. And, of course, both of those will end. How horny has real estate made us? I whisk you to Victoria, where anguished dad Ted writes: My son and his fiancĂŠe are in desperate need of advice. He - a PHD candidate, she - a nurse. He - no income except for education covered the most part by bursaries/scholarships. She has a pretty good salary. Problem - she came into the relationship with a condo in suburban Vancouver - lined up for granite/stainless and the like. Prices are on the way down, so they listed and can sell for a 20k loss owned to the bank due to the decrease in mortgage rates over the years. They rent a townhouse in Surrey and have the condo rented not sure if it's at a loss or not. She doesn't want to take the 20k hit so they are now talking about buying another

place at a lower cost in order to not have to pay the 20k madness, but she seems determined. My son doesn't have the time/strength to argue. I've been reading your blog for a few years and agree with wholeheartedly with your views - I already see the ugliness in Victoria where I live. The question - can you give them some advice? But there is none, Ted. Like my MP colleagues three years ago as the financial fires licked at their asses, most people pay no heed. They're deniers. They believe what exists now will carry on forever, without end or consequence. They'll argue rates can't rise, credit won't tighten and trouble visits only dumb Americans. So I'm giving up. No more wagging finger. No sermons. No mocking of the idiots among us. There are just too damn many. If political leaders don't care about the sacrificial property virgins, house-locked Boomers, a debt-devastated economy or looming retirement crisis, why should I? Damn, I miss the Rhinos. www.greaterfool.ca

Cause for Thought- Satirical Drawings of Pawel Kuczynski | by Rob Bunney

THE ENGAGING SATIRICAL DRAWINGS of Pawel Kuczynski truly give one cause for thought. Images so powerful, they command your attention, demanding to be heard. As you can see, we're not talking about a couple of funny satirical drawings of George Bush, or the Deep Thoughts of Jack Handey! Pawel Kuczynski is obviously a very serious artist, with a tremendous ability to be provoke meaningful thought, in almost anyone. The work is prodigious, one incredible statement after another, as you'll see when you visit our website, to

Polish satirist, cariciturist and essayist, he designed posters, and wrote plays and sketches for cabarets. Lipinski was also author of several books. In 1935 he cofounded with Zbignew Mitzner a satirical newspaper Szpilki; he was its chief editor for several years (1935-37 and 1946-53). During World War II he was one of the artists working with the Polish resistance, involved in production of false documents. He was arrested by the Nazis and imprisoned in the infamous Pawiak prison, in Mokotow prison and in the Aushwitchz concentration camp.

view many more works from this fine young talent. Pawel, from Police, Poland, is already a very decorated artist, with 90 awards to his credit, just for his satirical works alone. This, gift to us, young artist, has been winning hardware like Michael Jordan! Incredibly, he only began to produce satirical works in 2004. One year later... In 2005 he received an "Eryk" from the Association of Polish Cartoonists, for newly discovered cartoonist, with a record number of awards in international competitions. Considering the namesake of the award, I imagine Pawel was both thrilled and humbled. Eryk Lipinski, July 12, 1908, Krakow - September 27, 1991 was a

Lipinski was awarded the medal, Righteous among the Nations, given by the State of Israel to non-Jews who saved Jews from extermination during the Holocaust. Polish Citizens have the world's highest count of individuals awarded the honour,, Righteous among the Nations. In a word, righteous, is a fine adjective to describe the drawings of Pawel Kuczynski. The spirit of resistance began by the great Eryk Lipinski, is alive and well, in the very capable hands of illustrator extraordinaire, Pawel Kuczynski. Dear Dr. Dahl, I read your column and thought I would write you in regards to the crisis in Japan and regarding the hysteria being displayed in Canada. If the worst case scenario is unleashed what is your feeling on how it will affect Canadians, should we put our name on the list for potassium iodine? Concerned in Vancouver, Chris H. Dear Chris, Your cause of concern is justified. No place in this world is isolated from the effects of radiation, because it travels by air. Japan's crisis could easily reach our shores: it all depends on how the event unfolds, and which way the wind is blowing. We are indeed living in perilous times, where in the first quarter of this year, three separate countries have already experienced major catastrophes! What's next? Forgive me, but I am going out on the limb a bit to share my views. I think mother earth is like a woman in travail: she is ready to bring forth life and in doing so the world as we know it will change. Health prevention is like life insurance it is better to

contribute when you don't need it for when you do, and a strong immune system is our best line of defense. Radiation fallout in close proximity is deadly for we are only flesh and blood. But if space avails and if we have the proper warning we can avoid the dangers and maintain our health in the process. For a simple and inexpensive mask to protect your lungs, buy some activated aquarium charcoal from a pet store, and two HEPA filters or HEPA filter isolation masks. If the charcoal is already in a net bag, sew or tape the two masks together with the charcoal in between. If the charcoal is loose, put it into a cotton cloth bag and follow the same procedure. This is a very inexpensive alternative to a military surplus mask and should serve well. With respect to potassium iodine, it is being widely prescribed, but it is a band aid approach at best, with quickly diminishing results. Potassium iodine is given for the protection of the thyroid gland. Under normal circumstances, the thyroid requires iodine, but moreso when under attack. Countless millions walk among us unaware that they live with a thyroid deficiency, which can be concealed by a host of other diseases. The thyroid absorbs radioactive iodine in fallout as if it were normal iodine, adding to the risk of developing cancer at any time. Let's not forget that radiation bombards us daily, coming at us from pollution, cellular phones, computers, TV's, microwaves, and more. When traveling, we are subjected to harmful "backscatter" radiation, and if we go to the doctor or dentist, we get x-rays. If cancer is detected, the treatment of choice is often to expose us to even more radiation. I think in years to come we will look back to this age and shake our heads at how foolish we actually were, because I believe there are better ways to detect and treat harmful problems than with harm. But for now, we have always to be aware of our environmental dangers to stay healthy.

SUPPLEMENTS TO CONSIDER: • Sea Kelp supplies the best form of iodine for absorption, but a homeopathic form like Life Choice Thyroid Support will also help restore and maintain a healthy thyroid. • Life Choice P5P Complex (the active form of Vitamin B6 plus extra mineral support) is a staple in our home, and provides protection for the nervous system. • Sulfur based amino acids are very important: L-glutathione, L-methionine, L-cysteine, and the mineral MSM. • Other immune stimulants include: Vitamin C (in large dosages, best taken in powder form); Vitamin A (best in mixed carotenoids); Vitamin D (natural based preferred; Zinc picolinate. • Herbal remedies include Goldenseal, Chaparral, Astragalus, and Burdock. • Raw tissue extracts of Adrenal, Thymus, and Thyroid glands work wonders. • To protect the liver try SAMe, Chromium picolinate and Milk thistle. The earth's ozone layer protects us from solar flares, and pure ozone pumped into a radiation-contaminated building will displace the fallout, yet it is banned by many health authorities! It has even been helpful with cancer, for as we all know cancer can't survive in an oxygen rich environment. If you have an ozone-producing air cleaner in your home, so much the better: we may all have to spend time indoors in coming weeks. To your very good health, Dr. Eldon Dahl, ND

The Partner Paradox: 'Outsourcing' Self-discipline |

by Wray Herbert

MY WIFE AND I go to spinning class a couple mornings a week. It's something we like to do together, and I feel like I benefit from having a regular workout partner. Some days I'm just lazy, or I don't want to venture out in the pre-dawn cold, but having a supportive partner motivates me. She bolsters my self-discipline when it flags. Or does she? Is it possible that having a supportive partner might have the opposite and paradoxical effect, actually undermining effort and commitment to health and fitness goals over the long haul? Perhaps we conserve our limited supply of self-control, "outsourcing" our effort when we know that a close friend or partner is in the wings, helping us achieve a goal. Two psychological scientists have been exploring this novel idea in the laboratory. Grainne Fitzsimons of Duke University and Eli Finkel of Northwestern suspected that moral support might have a flip-side, namely emotional dependence. If we know someone has our back, isn't it possible that we unconsciously rely on that support to help us reach our goals-and thus slack off? Here's how they tested this idea in a couple different studies. Fitzsimons and Finkel recruited a group of 30-something women, all of whom were in a romantic relationship, for an online experiment. They gave

half of them an exercise intended to deplete them mentally. Then they asked some of the women to think of an example where their partner had helped them achieve their long-term health and fitness goals-like picking up the slack at home or being a workout partner. The other volunteers also thought about their partners' support, but not specifically in the area of health and fitness; these served as controls. Then, finally, the scientists asked all the volunteers a series of questions about the commitment to health and fitness and how much time and effort

continued....

they planned to spend on these goals the following week. The idea was to see if thinking of a partner's support depleted personal effort and commitment-and that's just what the scientists found. Those who

the women were outsourcing the work when they had less self-discipline in reserve to draw on. The scientists wanted to double-check these findings, and they did so in an interesting way. They again

The results were consistent: Those who were aware that they had a reliable partner in the wings procrastinated much more, apparently unconcerned about depleting their mental energy on mere entertainment. were aware of a partner's helping hand planned to commit less time and work to health goals. What's more, this effect was strongest among those who had been mentally depleted, suggesting that

had only some of a group of volunteers-in this case both men and women-think about a way in which their romantic partner helped with their goals. Then they gave them an opportunity to either work on that goal or to procrastinate on an entertainingbut unproductive-puzzle task. The results were consistent: Those who were aware that they had a reliable partner in the wings procrastinated much more, apparently unconcerned about depleting their mental energy on mere entertainment. So this sounds like it's a disadvantage to have a wingman (or woman). But not so fast. Fitzsimons and Finkel ran one more version of this experiment, but in this one they also measured the volunteers' level of commitment to their partner. As reported in the on-line version of the journal Psychological Science, they found that those who outsourced their effort to a significant other were more committed to that partner. In other words, relying on a partner for help with a goal might diminish the personal effort we devote to that goal-yet benefit the relationship overall. This last result has important implications for how we think of dependence in relationships. We tend to think of dependence in terms of intimate and sexual needs, but these findings suggest that dependence might also arise from a partner's unique ability to help with life's goals. Indeed, long-term partners may develop a shared self-regulatory system, relying on one another for help with the discipline needed for success in facing life's challenges. We might rely on a partner for help with self-control in one arena, ironically undermining our short-term commitment to that specific goal but conserving our overall supply of discipline for all our shared goals-and mutual benefit in the partnership. Eco-Farming Can Double Food Production in 10 Years, says new UN report |

world

by Olivier De Schutter - United Nations

GENEVA - Small-scale farmers can double food production within 10 years in critical regions by using ecological methods, a new UN report* shows. Based on an extensive review of the recent scientific literature, the study calls for a fundamental shift towards agroecology as a way to boost food production and improve the situation of the poorest. "To feed 9 billion people in 2050, we urgently need to adopt the most efficient farming techniques available," says Olivier De Schutter, UN Special Rapporteur on the right to food and author of the report. "Today's scientific evidence demonstrates that agroecological methods outperform the use of chemical fertilizers in boosting food production where the hungry live -- especially in unfavorable environments." Agroecology applies ecological science to the design of agricultural systems that can help put an end to food crises and address climate-change and poverty challenges. It enhances soils productivity and protects the crops against pests by relying on the natural environment such as beneficial trees, plants, animals and insects. "To date, agroecological projects have shown an average crop yield increase of 80% in 57 developing countries, with an average increase of 116% for all African projects," De Schutter says. "Recent projects conducted in 20 African countries demonstrated a doubling of crop yields over a period of 3-10 years." "Conventional farming relies on expensive inputs, fuels climate change and is not resilient to cli-

matic shocks. It simply is not the best choice anymore today," De Schutter stresses. "A large segment of the scientific community now acknowledges the positive impacts of agroecology on food production, poverty alleviation and climate change mitigation -- and this this is what is needed in a world of limited resources. Malawi, a country that launched a massive chemical fertilizer subsidy program a few years ago, is now implementing agroecology, benefiting more than 1.3 million of the poorest people, with maize yields increasing from 1 ton/ha to 2-3 tons/ha." The report also points out that projects in Indonesia, Vietnam and Bangladesh recorded up to 92 % reduction in insecticide use for rice, leading to important savings for poor farmers. "Knowledge came to replace pesticides and fertilizers. This was a winning bet, and comparable results abound in other African, Asian and Latin American countries," the independent expert notes. "The approach is also gaining ground in developed countries such as United States, Germany or France," he said. "However, despite its impressive potential in realizing the right to food for all, agroecology is still insufficiently backed by ambitious public policies and consequently hardly goes beyond the experimental stage." The report identifies a dozen of measures that States should implement to scale up agroecological practices. "Agroecology is a knowledge-intensive approach. It requires public policies supporting agricultural research

and participative extension services," De Schutter says. "States and donors have a key role to play here. Private companies will not invest time and money in practices that cannot be rewarded by patents and which don't open markets for chemical products or improved seeds." The Special Rapporteur on the right to food also urges States to support small-scale farmer's organizations, which demonstrated a great ability to disseminate the best agroecological practices among their members. "Strengthening social organization proves to be as impactful as distributing fertilizers. Small-scale farmers and scientists can create innovative practices when they partner", De Schutter explains. "We won't solve hunger and stop climate change with industrial farming on large plantations. The solution lies in supporting small-scale farmers' knowledge and experimentation, and in raising incomes of smallholders so as to contribute to rural development." "If key stakeholders support the measures identified in the report, we can see a doubling of food production within 5 to 10 years in some regions where the hungry live," De Schutter says. "Whether or not we will succeed this transition will depend on our ability to learn faster from recent innovations. We need to go fast if we want to avoid repeated food and climate disasters in the 21st century." www.srfood.org and http://www2.ohchr.org/english/issues/food/annual.htm

The Middle East's Feminist Revolution |

by Naomi Wolf

OXFORD - Among the most prevalent Western stereotypes about Muslim countries are those concerning Muslim women: doe-eyed, veiled, and submissive, exotically silent, gauzy inhabitants of imagined harems, closeted behind rigid gender roles. So where were these women in Tunisia and Egypt? In both countries, women protesters were nothing like the Western stereotype: they were front and center, in news clips and on Facebook forums, and even in the leadership. In Egypt's Tahrir Square, women volunteers, some accompanied by children, worked steadily to support the protests - helping with security, communications, and shelter. Many commentators credited the great numbers of women and children with the remarkable overall peacefulness of the protesters in the face of grave provocations. Other citizen reporters in Tahrir Square - and virtually anyone with a cell phone could become one - noted that the masses of women involved in the protests were demographically inclusive. Many wore headscarves and other signs of religious conservatism, while others reveled in the freedom to kiss a friend or smoke a cigarette in public. But women were not serving only as support workers, the habitual role to which they are relegated in protest movements, from those of the 1960's to the recent student riots in the United Kingdom. Egyptian women also organized, strategized, and reported the events. Bloggers such as Leil Zahra Mortada took grave risks to keep the world informed daily of the scene in Tahrir Square and elsewhere. The role of women in the great upheaval in the Middle East has been woefully under-analyzed. Women in Egypt did not just "join" the protests - they were a leading force behind the cultural evolution that made the protests inevitable. And what is true for Egypt is true, to a greater and lesser extent, throughout

the Arab world. When women change, everything changes, and women in the Muslim world are changing radically. The greatest shift is educational. Two generations ago, only a small minority of the daughters of the elite received a university education. Today, women account for more than half of the students at Egyptian universities. They are being trained to use power in ways that their grandmothers could scarcely have imagined: publishing newspapers (as Sanaa el Seif did, in defiance of a government order to cease operating); campaigning for student leadership posts; fundraising for student organizations; and running meetings. Indeed, a substantial minority of young women in Egypt and other Arab countries have now spent their formative years thinking critically in mixed-gender environments, and even publicly challenging male professors in the classroom. It is far easier to tyrannize a population when half are poorly educated and trained to be submissive. But, as Westerners should know from their own historical experience, once you educate women, democratic agitation is likely to accompany the massive cultural shift that follows. The nature of social media, too, has helped turn women into protest leaders. Having taught leadership skills to women for more than a decade, I know how difficult it is to get them to stand up and speak out in a hierarchical organizational structure. Likewise, women tend to avoid the figurehead status that traditional protest has in the past imposed on certain activists - almost invariably a hotheaded young man with a megaphone. In such contexts - with a stage, a spotlight, and a spokesperson - women often shy away from leadership roles. But social media, through the very nature of the technology, have changed what leadership looks and feels like today. Facebook mimics the way many women choose to experi-

ence social reality, with connections between people just as important as individual dominance or control, if not more so. You can be a powerful leader on Facebook just by creating a really big "us." Or you can stay the same size, conceptually, as everyone else on your page - you don't have to assert your dominance or authority. The structure of Facebook's interface creates what brick-and-mortar institutions, despite 30 years of feminist pressure, have failed to provide: a context in which women's ability to forge a powerful "us" and engage in a leadership of service can advance the cause of freedom and justice worldwide. Of course, Facebook cannot reduce the risks of protest. But, however violent the immediate future in the Middle East may be, the historical record of what happens when educated women participate in freedom movements suggests that those in the region who would like to maintain iron-fisted rule are finished. Just when France began its rebellion in 1789, Mary Wollstonecraft, who had been caught up in witnessing it, wrote her manifesto for women's liberation. After educated women in America helped fight for the abolition of slavery, they put female suffrage on the agenda. After they were told in the 1960's that "the position of women in the movement is prone," they generated "second wave" feminism - a movement born of women's new skills and old frustrations. Time and again, once women have fought the other battles for freedom of their day, they have moved on to advocate for their own rights. And, since feminism is simply a logical extension of democracy, the Middle East's despots are facing a situation in which it will be almost impossible to force these awakened women to stop their fight for freedom - their own and that of their communities. British Tax Protesters Arrest Judge In Act Of "Lawful Rebellion" |

by Paul Joseph Watson

FOR THOSE WONDERING whether we can expect to see anything like the scenes witnessed in Egypt coming to America or the United Kingdom, the actions of British protesters who engaged in "lawful rebellion" by attempting to arrest a judge yesterday could herald the beginning of a new tax revolt to rival the infamous poll tax riots of 1990. Just as the 2009 town hall confrontations gave birth to the modern incarnation of the Tea Party in the United States, with the organization having its early origins in the 2007 End the Fed protests involving Ron Paul supporters, could yesterday's events herald the beginning of a massive tax revolt movement set to sweep the UK? There were chaotic scenes as around 600 activists from the British Constitution Group massed around Birkenhead county court chanting "freedom," and "arrest that judge" as police with riot dogs attempted to hold them back. Protesters stormed the courtroom and civilly arrested Judge Michael Peake before escorting him from the building. Peake was eventually wrestled away from protesters by police as the activists chanted, "Do your job" to the police. Dozens more police arrived to set up blockades and numerous protesters were arrested. Peake was ruling on a case involving Roger Hayes, former member of UKIP, who has refused to pay council tax, both as a protest against the government's treasonous activities in sacrificing Britain to globalist interests and as a result of Hayes clearly proving that council tax is illegal. Hayes has embarked on an effort to legally prove that the enforced collection of council tax by government is unlawful because no contract has been agreed between the individual and the state. His argument is based on the sound legal principle that just like the council, Hayes can represent himself as a third party in court and that "Roger Hayes" is a corporation and must be treated as one in the eyes of the law. "As he emerged from the court surrounded by his supporters, Mr Hayes said: 'The judges are breaking the law in their own courts. I asked him [Mr Peake] if he was serving under his oath of office," reports the Daily Mail. "I asked three times for him to confirm this and he refused, so I civilly arrested the judge and I called upon some people in the court to assist me in this," Hayes said. "They were acting lawfully and the police should not have arrested them." "Made up of people from across the UK, the marchers say they are exerting their "ancient right to lawful Rebellion under Article 16 of Magna Carta," reported the Wirral Globe. Raymond Saintclair, who organised the Birkenhead protest said: "Today was day one. This is going to happen again and again and again. We have sent a message to this court as one nation and one voice until change comes." In a statement carried on the group's website, Common Law is cited as a means through which lawful rebellion will be conducted to address "political treason and criminality being imposed on the law-abiding people of the British Isles." "It is clear, beyond all reasonable doubt and with evidence that would stand up in any properly-conducted court of law, that an influential network of rogue British politicians across the parties is unlawfully involved in carrying out the hidden strategies and agendas of a centuries-old, secretive and criminal global elite who are seeking the imposition of unlawful global governance on the unsuspecting peoples of the world. Known broadly by researchers as the New World Order (NWO) - though some refer to them as the Illuminati or Zionists (please note that this does not mean Judaism) - the modus operandi of these powerful traitors and criminals is now clear for all to see," reads the statement. The group lists the Committee of 300, the Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Club of Rome as just some of the organizations who control "Subservient and compartmentalised national networks of influential politicians, industrialists, campaigning groups, charities and key individuals in trusted positions."

The British Constitution Group and the movement of "lawful rebellion" is strongly supported by Brian Gerrish, a former Royal Navy Lieutenant Commander who publishes the UK Column newspaper, which documents how Britain is being destroyed by globalist interests as well as the insidious "Common Purpose" organization which has infiltrated every level of British society. Yesterday's events will send a clear shot across the bow of the British government, which is currently engaged in aggressive austerity measures involving cuts to public services as well as tax hikes. In March 1990, London was hit with massive tax riots in scenes dubbed the "Battle of Trafalgar," as demonstrators raged against the infamous poll tax that was eventually abolished after millions of Brits refused to pay it, a sequence of events that many attributed to the downfall of Margaret Thatcher who resigned as

Prime Minister in November the same year. Poll tax was replaced with council tax, which took into account people's ability to pay based on the value of their home. However, council tax rates have consistently risen over the rate of inflation even as the British people feel more and more misrepresented by the national government based in London and local governments that have been completely consumed by the agenda of Common Purpose to the detriment of their own constituents. http://www.thebcgroup.org.uk/ Paul Joseph Watson is the editor and writer for Prison Planet.com. WITH POLITICAL SHENANIGANS and back room intrigue that rival the Watergate scandal, the BC Liberal government is embarking on a program to replace all the hydro meters in our province with the so called "Smart" meters. This could not only hurt our pocket books it may also harm our health. Resembling the precision of a military coup, the nameless and faceless operatives within the wireless industry, with their collaborators in government bureaucracies, and the ruling Liberal Party, have prepared and are now implementing their plan to blanket our province with yet another layer of radio frequency radiation, (RFR). So called Smart Meters are being installed all around the world with much protest from consumers, but you will hear little of that from the corporate media outlets like Postmedia, the owners of most of Canada's daily papers. Ominously our own CBC seems to be in on the scam. The BC Government is collaborating with Accenture, the business arm of BC Hydro in making another decision that could lead to ruin for our Crown Corporation. Accenture has made a series of decisions regarding the run of river projects, the Site C dam and the so called smart meters that favor corporate profits and penalizes British Columbians. The master minds of the Enron scam, Arthur Andersen and Associates, pulled out with hundreds of millions of dollars, changed their name to Accenture and then took over BC Hydro operations. Since then our public util-

Smart Metergate ity has gone from a profitable crown corporation to near bankruptcy. They are now the cancer inside BC Hydro. If they follow the Enron model, their mandate is to kill BC Hydro and sell parts of the carcass off to their friends. Accenture is a global management, technology services, and outsourcing company. It is registered in Hamilton, Bermuda. It is said to be the largest consulting firm in the world. With more than 178,000 people in 49 countries, the company generated net revenues of US$19.70 billion for the fiscal year ending Aug. 31, 2007. Accenture's clients include 91 of the Fortune Global 100 and more than two-thirds of the Fortune Global 500. The lucrative Run of River hydro electric projects have contracts that guarantee that BC Hydro will pay major corporations like General Electric for their generated electricity at 6 times the rate that Hydro can sell it. This will bankrupt BC Hydro. These ecologically disastrous projects are financially devastating for BC Hydro and ultimately British Columbians. In BC, our hydro meters are going to be replaced with new high tech meters that are able to monitor your electricity consumption by the second, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. These meters have surveillance capabilities that the companies are not required to report on and threaten our privacy and security as laid out in our Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Smart meters emit dangerous levels of RFR, and on top of that it appears they will not save a penny in the consumption of electricity. Many scientific studies have shown a link between exposure to RFR and a host of ailments including serious diseases like heart arrhythmia, tachycardia and various forms of cancer. Smart Meters expose the public to RFR at harmful levels according to Dr. Magda Havas an environmental toxicologist from Trent University in Ontario. We are going to lay down 1 billion dollars to pay independent contractors, some with close connections to the BC Liberals, to have these meters installed. Check out http://thetyee.ca/Opinion/2011/03/07/SmartMeterProfits/ It should be no surprise that this campaign to install these RFR emitting smart meters has started while the legislature is in disarray and both the ruling party and the official opposition are in a dramatic transition with new leaders. The interim leader of the New Democratic Party is now asking the new leader of the Liberal Party and new

Premier to shelve the Smart Meter program, pending a full governmental review. John Horrigan the NDP energy critic is busy running for the leadership of his party and the Liberal Minister of Energy, Steve Thompson is nowhere to be found. Our governments have set up many impediments to public involvement in the decision making process and thus there is little chance in stopping these meters from being installed. With little fuss, the Gordon Campbell Liberals passed a law that excluded Smart Meters from the jurisdiction of the BC Utilities Commission. The federal government gets hundreds of millions of dollars per year in licensing fees. Through Industry Canada's regulations the halting of any installation of wireless transmitters on the basis of health concerns is prohibited. Industry Canada is riddled with corporate insiders. Health Canada collaborates with the telecommunications industry by not recognizing any research that shows adverse health effects as a result of so called non-thermal levels of exposures like those emitted from a wireless meter. The corporate media which is directly owned in many cases by the telecom industry (Postmedia the largest media conglomerate in Canada has close ties with the telecom industry) censors public criticism. Citizen's concerns about health problems as a result of exposure to RFR, concerns about the privacy and security of their homes, and concerns about the costs of their electricity are denied a voice. At a $1 billion price tag for BC we will have to save about 100 million kilowatt hours of electricity consumption before the citizens will see some financial benefit. How long will it take for us to save this much electrical energy? Especially when there is no evidence in areas where these meters have been installed that energy consumption has actually been reduced. Walt is an EM Radiation Tester in Victoria, British Columbia. Garden with Permaculture in Spring & Save Money |

by Maddy Harland | Permaculture Magazine | Permaculture.co.uk THERE ARE SO MANY compelling reasons for growing even a little of your own food in the garden or allotment, on the patio, or even on the windowsill. Take for instance the humble lettuce. On average of over 11 pesticides are sprayed on lettuces, more than any other vegetable crop. In one study by what is now the UK Department of the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA), pesticide applications had increased by 600% over a ten year period. Those innocent bags of mixed salad from the supermarket are also washed with chloride to prevent decay. Food can contribute up to one third of your family's carbon footprint - so buying locally produced food and growing your own is one of the greenest things we can do. Permaculture - Learning From Nature

| Raised beds full of food The Agora | 22

As the old saying goes, 'Nature is the best teacher' and permaculture is based on observing natural systems, deriving principles to understand how they work and then applying them and designing low carbon, green systems. These can be anything from a farm, woodland or community, but one of the easiest ways for most people is to demonstrate permaculture in the garden. Here we can make connections, turn our waste into useful resources and create self-sustaining cyclical systems that work together healthily. A typical example of a way of imitating nature in the permaculture garden is mulching the soil. In a wood-

continued....

land, nature rarely leaves the soil bare. Leaves form a moist covering to the soil and rot down, making a fertile dark loam full of beneficial micro-organism to feed saplings, established trees and shrubs and other flora and prevent nutrients being eroded away by wind and rain. In the garden we too can make leaf mould, compost and use cardboard, woodchip and straw to cover and feed the soil, establish rich loamy beds full of worms to turn the soil and make it fertile. Mulch also suppresses weeds. Adding compost also creates healthy soil as well as being an important way of reducing household waste. Currently, the average household throws away 14.1kg of compostable waste - the equivalent in weight of 24 bags of sugar per week. Setting up a Vegetable Garden in Spring The first task is to establish good composting systems as soon as possible. If you have room you can make your own composters from recycled pallets and add a mixture of kitchen waste (uncooked), grass cuttings and materials like shredded paper and spoilt straw to get the right mixture of nitrogen and carbon. You can also make a composter specifically for leaves and also one for 'green brew' - a DIY liquid organic fertiliser (see BOX for details). If you are limited for space proprietary composters (often at a reduced price from your local council) and a worm bin for cooked food and vegetable scraps are very useful. If you are starting from scratch select an area near your house for your veggie beds and composting area. The aphorism that the best fertiliser is the gardener's shadow is so true. We all tend to live busy lives and so growing food near the kitchen door ensures that you can more easily pop out, pull a few weeds, sow some seeds and compost our waste. Make sure your beds are wide enough to reach in the middle but not too wide so that you have to stand on them to work which will compact the soil and cause water logging. Define the edges of beds with long planks if you can but not bricks or stones in a damp climate as these are ideal habitats for slugs and snails. Planks clearly mark the paths - useful also for children and

pets to know exactly where to tread - and allow you to build up the soil and make raised beds. These will be no-dig once you have removed all the weeds. The advantages of not digging but mulching and spot weeding instead are many. Soil is a living being with a delicate balance of micro-organisms that interact. Digging damages this living microcosm and destroys soil structure. Much better to leave 'ploughing' to the worms which turn the soil and aerate it. Don't forget to add lots of well-rotted organic matter. Next, select what to grow and order in your seeds. This is the fun part so be sure to involve the whole family and choose vegetables and salads that everyone like sto eat. There is no point growing food they don't like! A strawberry bed is usually a must but remember you can also plant alpine strawberries anywhere in the garden as ground cover and children will enjoy foraging for their small but delicious fruits. My family love vegetables like sweetcorn, French beans, parsnips, spinach, carrots, various varieties of beefsteak, bush and cherry tomatoes, broad beans and spaghetti and butternut squashes. These are always top of my list for space. I also like to plant as many varieties of 'cut and come again' and self seeding salads as possible such as mizuna, mibuna, oak leaf lettuces, land cress, rocket, and corn salad.

Most seed catalogues have salad mixes that you can sow in one go so that you get variety for the price of just one packet - even a small salad bed can save a fortune on the weekly shopping bills and provide healthy greens from early spring to late autumn. There is nothing as scrumptious as freshly picked greens and children love helping with the harvesting. Of course, we prefer to buy organic seeds and also mainly choose varieties that are 'heritage' or at least not hybrids. F1 hybrid seeds may look nice but they are bred for a mass market and are not self-fertile and you can't save their seed and germinate them next year. Heritage seeds are usually the older varieties that may not be popular in the supermarket (because they lack uniformity of size, shape or colour or don't store in refrigerated units well) but they are often more tasty, store well and produce good seeds for next year. They can be more robust against pests and diseases as well and by growing them you are supporting biodiversity in the garden. My favourite spring job, besides getting out on crisp days and preparing the beds for sowing, is planting seeds inside. Children enjoy sowing pots and seed trays and watching them germinate in the warm. This is biology at home. My daughters never had any problem understanding hydro-, photo- or geo-tropism at school. They had learnt that plant growth is determined by moisture, light and gravity on the windowsill from an early age. Botany too is so much easier to learn when you have a familiarity with germination, photosynthesis and how roots grow, for instance. All in all, growing plants is a wonderful way for a family to play and learn together and enjoy being outside. Useful Resources The Permaculture Garden, Graham Bell, Permanent Publications, ÂŁ14.95. Violence and Drugs in Mexico |

by Walker Morrow walkersunknownthoughts.blogspot.com has made the consumption of drugs more dangerous overall. In Mexico especially, this lucrative black-market trade has led to violence and bloodshed, and a less stable society over-all. Mexico is, quite literally, taking a bullet for United States domestic policy on drugs. To that end, Jacob Sullum writes:

Initiative's efforts will only continue, much to Mexican tourists' dismay. But, if the violence is going to end, it will probably be up to the United States to end it: it would certainly take a large bite out of the drug-related violence in Mexico if one of the largest drug markets north of the border were to legalize - or at the very least, decriminalize - drug use. This is not to mention that if the United States were to legalize - or decriminalize - drug use, Canada would probably soon follow. As former Mexican president Vicente Fox has noted:

AS THE CARTEL-RELATED VIOLENCE continues in Mexico this Spring, I thought it would be worthwhile to highlight a very important role that not only the United States but Canada can play to scale down the death and destruction down south. Basically, it all comes down to the United States prohibition on drugs. As with most prohibited substances with a wide market, prohibition has done little to actually stop the consumption of drugs. Instead, it has simply given criminal organizations the means to sop up incredible amounts of money, and

Has Calderon taken a stand against a wave of violence, or has he precipitated it? Some 35,000 people have died in prohibition-related violence since his crackdown began in 2006. Just as Obama's secretary of state does not seem to understand that illegal drugs are expensive and sold by criminals because they're illegal, Obama does not seem to understand that the business is violent for the same reason. If he were serious about taking responsibility, he would reflect on the havoc caused by his government's arbitrary pharmacological dictates. The United States shows no apparent signs of de-escalating its own involvement in the war on drug-related activity in Mexico - in fact, it seems likely that the Merida

"Radical prohibition strategies have never worked. Legalizing in this sense does not mean drugs are good and don't harm those who consume them. Rather we should look at it as a strategy to strike at and break the economic structure that allows gangs to generate huge profits in their trade, which feeds corruption and increases their areas of power." I realize that legalization or decriminalization of even mild drugs like marijuana in the United States ( or Canada ) is still a ways off. This won't happen overnight. But every so often it's worth reminding ourselves of the price of our drug prohibition: lives in Mexico are lost because of our moral stances on substance abuse. If that's considered a fitting price by some, fine, but it's a price that should always be factored into our considerations.

culture CHARLIE SHEEN IS sucking all the oxygen from the media room and you've got to love him for it. Through Charlie we are learning the real value of money before it kills us. Charlie, I love you! I am sorry for the frustration he must be bringing into celebrity circles, though. Fo those who live to be noticed, Charlie is leaving them behind in the dust because he isn't afraid to keep the journalistic focus on the wads of money he throws around, and those bigger wads he seems not to mind jeopardizing. Charlie's behaviour isn't the issue, it's his obvious contempt for money - the secret organizing principle of America. Charlie's assault on money is what keeps him in the news. Before Charlie we could count on our celebrities to show us what fools moneyed people are without actually losing bags of it, as if were only paper. Before Charlie we had Jim Brown throwing his girlfriend out of motel windows, Barry Bonds swelling up on drugs to look like Mr. Clean, Paris Hilton fornicating on Youtube, Britney Spears shaving herself bald as a coot with a straight razor. Mariah Carey's enormous backside revealing itself in the ocean surf in full page photographic glory in newspapers; we had Tom Cruise jumping up and down on Oprah's couch to prove how sane he is; we had luscious Lindsay Lohan climbing all legs right out of taxi cabs into paparazzi cameras wearing no underpants over her, ahem. Before Charlie we could revel in tape recordings of board meetings at Enron where enthusiastic executives shouted, "Burn, baby, burn!" at the prospect of money to be made as California communities were burning to the ground; we had presidents calling themselves conservatives who spent trillions more than the country earned, and reserved the right to attack other nations first if the president felt they might possibly attack us sometime in the future; we had presidents presenting themselves as Liberals who promise,

offers a fresh perspective on wealth. The New York Times on March 7, 2011, quoted an unnamed hollywood agent on Charlie, saying, "He's money. He makes the cash register ring." It's time we asked ourselves why Charlie has eclipsed Lindsay, Barrack, or Goldman-Sachs in our attention. Is it because Charlie is honest and they are not? Of course that's it. His honesty is intolerable.

I love Charlie Sheen. He Allows me to forget the beheadings in Tijuana and Acapulco my beloved Mexico such a dicey place to visit these days. He allows me to forget that at the end of the American century I could end up kidnapped or dead if I sail my yacht around Somalia. All because ordinary folk want wealth too. Charlie teaches us all to wake up to the illusion that any American Dream should be grounded in money. Look at what money has done to him. It does that to everybody. Just not as honestly. WITH THE THREAT of radiation contaminated food coming from areas effected by the nuclear meltdown in Japan, it is now more important than ever to know where your products and food are coming from. With all the contaminated food and pet products now coming from China , it is best to make sure you read labels at the grocery and department store when shopping. Many products no longer show where they were made, and only give where the distributor is located. It is important to read the bar code to track its origin. Baul History 101 |

by Babukishan Das Baul

NEW BAUL PERFORMERS do not know the History of The Bauls of Bengal. Most if not all of the new Bauls representing Baul today are not versed in Sanskrit, Vedas, Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Yoga, Indian Philosophy orVedanta. This is the basis of being Baul. The new Baul singers have not been taught the incredible historical legacy that is The Bauls of Bengal, some are more interested in how they look or how they can make themselves a celebrity?? There is no Bengal without Baul, and there is no Baul without Bengal, there is a soul connection between the Bauls and the soil of Bengal. I am sorry to say one problem is that scholars or writers on Baul have it wrong, they have either talked to the wrong Bauls or have cut and paste what already has been falsely written in books and articles regarding who the Baul are. Some are trying to popularize Bauls by saying that the Bauls are a rootless religion, this is one of the biggest distortions I have ever heard, and completely wrong. First of all Baul is not a religion... Baul is a path of Sanatana (eternal) Dharma, a path of sadhana. Baul roots are not only deep they are ancient. If you do not know your eternal dharma and proceed on a path without roots you will never understand or gain the depth that is aquired from a strong foundation, one needs to understand the history, the roots of Baul, the eternal dharma called Baul. The oral living lineage of the Baul of Bengal is like an ocean that was established thousands of years ago. The new rivers flow into the ocean, the ocean does not flow into the river. Rivers come to meet the ocean not the other way around, the ocean can not be smaller, everyday the ocean gets bigger and bigger, a river can only flow into the ocean. A seed will grow roots then grow into a beautiful tree full of lush leaves, flowers and fruit, the fruit of this tree is called Baul.

The Rasa Lila Mystics, Monar Manush, The Mirror of the Sky! A Small History Lesson on Who the Bauls of Bengal are

This fruit can only grow through sadhana. The juice or rasa of Baul only is alive because this lineage has kept the light burning for thousands of years of pure devotion. In my observations the new Bauls are trying to change the unchangeable ocean of the Bauls of Bengal, cutting the roots off, without the roots the tree will not grow for future generations. Baul is mystical tradition of sadhana, a Guru and disciple parampara Oral Living Lineage. My lineage of Bauls being the oldest living lineage of Baul, we are the original ecstatic devotional singer, we are Tantric Bhakti Yogi's from West Bengal India. In 2011 I am finding the Bauls are at a crossroad, which way will they go? Nobel prized great poet Rabindranath Tagore was deeply inspired by Nabani Das Baul, Baul Music and Baul philosophy, as Shri Nabani Das Baul was Tagore's Baul guru. Nabani Das Baul was the first and last Baul Teacher at Rabindranath Tagore's University 'Viswa Bharti'. He also was Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's Baul Music, Dance and philosophy teacher at Viswa Bharti, this is how Nabani Das Baul had come to Know Jawaharlal Nehru. When India gained independence form the British in 1947 Nehru invited Nabani Das Baul to sing at the inaugaration ceremonies all over India. From Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to America's poet Allen Ginsberg, Beatles, Rollingstones, Bob Dylan, Mahalia Jackson, Gandhiji, Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Osho, Amandamayi Ma, Ramakrishna Dev, Shri SitaRam Omkarnath, they were all inspired by our lineage of Bauls from Bengal. Even Mother Theresa loved the Bauls, and there are many others whom this lineage of Bauls, my family inspired. Anandamoyi Ma once said to me, Bauls are complete, they are far advanced to a university degree, they are beyond a PHD. She said that she wanted to be in touch with my grandfather Nabani Das Baul but for some reason could not, her strongest spiritual guru

Sitaram Das Omkarnath who brought her into the spiritual limelight was a very close associate of Nabani Das Baul and it was Sitaram Das Omkarnath who told Ananadmoyi Ma the many stories about my grandfather Sri Nabani Das Baul. At that time in history it was so hard to do what Anandamoyi Ma did, it was a mans world in regards to being a spiritual guru, I truly am blessed to have close association with both Anandamoyi Ma and Sitaram Das Omkarnath they were both Bengali's. Edward Dimock Jr. in his The Place of the Hidden Moon (1966) writes: "Rabindranath Tagore put the Bauls on a higher-than-respectable level by his praise of the beauty of their songs and spirit, and by his frank and proud acknowledgement of his own poetic debt to them." The Lineage Bauls of Bengal also inspired many other successful poets, playwrights and songwriters of the 19th and 20th centuries. The names Goswami (Gosai) Das or Dasi have been our lineages names since the beginning of the story going back thousands of years. We are a lineage of mystical song and dance and of kirtan from West Bengal India. Kirtan is not just call and response chanting, it is about telling the stories of Radha and Krishna, the stories of all the scriptures, who is Ram and Sita what did they do, what are their stories? The Baul must learn these stories, they are seeds of Indian Baul philosophy, these seed songs are exactly what Baul songs are about. The seeds grow into the tree called Baul Sadhana, without the seeds or the roots a tree will never grow.. it is these roots I am trying to preserve for future generations. The truth is and is well known in Bengal that Shri Nityananda, or Nitai born in Ekchhaka, Birbhum, West Bengal in the 1400-1500's was a Baul. Shri Nityananda inspired his best friend, a scholar by the name of Shri Chaitanya Dev, or Gauranga. As best friends Sri Nityananda shared the Hare Krishna Mahamantra with Shri Chaitanya Dev, along with our Hare Krishna song, dance and Baul sadhana. Baul is an oral tradition, an oral tradition is passed on through sanskrit, word of mouth, hearing and remembering, as in storytelling. An oral tradition is not a book tradition, the books are stored in our memory. Much has been distorted by scholarly writers and by Vaishnava reformers. These writers and reformers never had a connection to the oral tradition or the roots of Baul. The way of the Baul is the way of the Rasa Lila Mystics, the original Hare Krishna singers and dancers in Bengal. Bauls accept all, feed all, they even adopt those who are rejected by mainstream society. A Baul is never pedantic, we never say we are better or that Krishna is better than Shiva, that kind of talk is for the spiritually immature. Bauls encourage people, they are not preachers who gather people for the sake of collecting devotee's or collecting money to build temples. Bauls want everybody to be a free bird, to find the divine within. Bauls talk for the people, they show love they do not just talk about it, they already know all the finer points of Bhakti yoga. Shri Nityananda being a Brahmin Lineage Baul when he met Chaitanya was already dancing and singing the Mahamantra as his ancestors had been doing for almost 5,000 years. This song and dance naturally, and spontaneously flowed to Shri Chaitanya. Now I see the Bauls have been removed from all stories regarding Sri Nityananda and Sri Chaitanya completely written out of Vaishnava history. I am also seeing Sri Nityananada being left out of the story by some modern writers stating Shri Chaitanya is the only father of modern day kirtan ?? I will write more on this at a later date. Babu Kishan aka Krishnendu Das Baul is a Baul Guru, Master of, Indian Folk, Classical, and Bollywood music. He has produced, promoted, composed for all the top Bollywood Indian Cinema's musican's and singers. He is the first Baul to compose Fusion Music, receive a modern education with a BA in Indian Philosophy, MA in Indian Music, the first Baul to live in North America. As a Music Director, Composer, for Indian Cinema for 30 years, he has composed over 150 scores, produced 44 albums. A prolific writer, poet, and author of 3 books on Baul. He has been traveling the world promoting, teaching Lineage Baul for more than 40 years. He spent 12 years as a Vedic with the Ramakrishna Order‌to be continued. www.babukishandasbaul.com

If the world does end in December 2012, what’s left to be done?- April 7th @ False Creek Community Centre, 1318 Cartwright Street, Granville Island Concertgoers have a choice between a 4PM and 7PM performance, and are invited to move around the gardens to experience different perspectives of the drifting melodies and shifting musical colours. This event is a CD release concert that features music from the newest title in the Redshift Records catalogue, Undercurrents—an album recorded by the Toronto-based new music ensemble Contact Contemporary Music, dedicated exclusively to the music of Jordan Nobles. The first 100 audience members to arrive receive a free copy of the new CD. Undercurrents embraces the concept of “open score” and “open form” meaning there is no fixed instrumentation and musicians are often granted the freedom to choose whichever phrases, dynamics and registers that happen to inspire them at a particular moment. This unique demand for creative responsibility on the part of the performer ensures that most of these works are never performed the same way twice. The April 2nd concert will be performed by Redshift’s house band Negative Zed (Z<0 being the mathematical symbol for Redshift), a mixed chamber ensemble with an eclectic and morphing membership made up of Vancouver’s most respected interpreters of new music. This incarnation of Negative Zed will be a sextet of musicians with special guest Jerry Pergolesi, percussionist and artistic director of Toronto’s Contact Contemporary Music. Fast becoming one of the most performed composers in Canada, Jordan Nobles has built a reputation for mesmerizing, ethereal works that literally immerse the listener in the music. Undercurrents is the latest of many Redshift events that infiltrate unlikely public spaces and transform them into cathedrals of sound. After every Soundwalk interested people have been invited to join in the planning and designing of future such walks. Forty-one years later, Urban Subjects’ exhibition, 602,000 refers to

the median house price in Greater Vancouver in 2010. Just as Lippard’s title tallied something abstractly human in the representation of the city, 602,000 reflects the very human relations of housing, the transformation of public space, and artistic practices.

The video works in 602,000 formally represent housing and domestic space as integral to public space. Moving from the scale of the body to transnational spaces of movement, these videos carefully build an aesthetic argument that housing is central to the right to the city. These works—located in Vienna and Bratislava, Madrid, Caracas, and the Netherlands— show housing and dwelling are spatial and public acts. SQUAMISH NATION BAND COUNCIL (SNBC) MEMBERS : Do not confuse us with the SNBC Members who are controlled to act pursuant to 'fraudulent contracts and 'TheftTreaties' produced by law firms et al for Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) Minister. These puppets enter into fraudulent contracts by pretending to be a 'hereditary'. This lie is revealed by blacked out information on their Name records at the Department of Vital Statistics, controlled by the INAC ministry. We have no idea where some of these Band Council members came from but they

continue with the genocide in selling our children to feed the pedophiles at $500 per child per night. We have reported some SNBC members directly to INTERPOL for an ongoing anti-corruption investigation since 2008. Anyone who consults with INAC Band Council Members is entering into a contract of fraud. Not all band councils can be painted with the same brush of corruption. It is Band Council members who wine and dine with de facto BC and CANADIAN Government members who are trained to lie orchestrated by law firms and the Ministry of INAC. They will look you into your eyes and lie by pretending to own the land's and its resources but they never did and they never will own land because they are permanently banished by hereditary leaders from other traditional lands as punishment of hideous crimes against their own kind.
