ALIFORNIA’S FIVE-YEAR DROUGHT was officially declared over by Governor Jerry Brown on April 7, 2017 after an incredible season of historic rainfall statewide and monumental snowfall in the mountains. Starting in 2011, California became mired in a drought caused by uncontrolled climate engineering across the west coast and over the Pacific Ocean. To most, the drought seemed like an act of God or perhaps a result of man made climate change. What was completely ignored by mainstream news sources was that this detrimental climate change in California was being caused by geoengineering, the deliberate altering of weather patterns through the dispersal of heavy metal aerosols, otherwise known as chemtrails, and the bombardment of the atmosphere with electromagnetic fields. These programs were designed to reduce precipitation and increase heat. The warming trend and reduction in rainfall was indeed caused by something unnatural, but only alternative news sources would touch on the real reasons. Why would a drought be purposely engineered? On an economic level, it’s easy to understand that a corporation with the power to alter the weather might do so to increase profits through creating scarcity and monopolizing resources. Biotech giants like Monsanto have a desire to monopolize the food market by pushing their genetically modified crops on farmers and consumers. There is a patent held by the US Department of Agriculture on seeds genetically engineered to withstand drought and polluted soils. In addition, water rights have been disputed
Ending the Engineered California Drought throughout the state of California for the past few years, with strict restrictions on usage put in place by the government and increased rates for consumers. Controlling the food and water supply is an excellent way for those without a moral compass to profit off of artificially created scarcity. This perception of scarcity also exerts control over a population through fear of the lack of resources necessary for survival. There are reasons far beyond economics for the creation of drought and desert, however. Wilhelm Reich first discovered these reasons during his 1950s orgone energy experiments in the Arizona desert, when he learned that desert conditions were unnatural to Earth and were the result of deadly energies being
used in an energetic war against the entire planet. Weather modification has been a part of US military operations since the end of World War II, around the time that cloud seeding was first patented. There is no cover-up of this fact, as Operation Popeye during the Vietnam War is something that anyone can read about in the history books and easily learn about online. During this operation, clouds were seeded to create torrential rains in order to gain an advantage over the enemy. In a well-publicized Air Force document, “Weather As a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025,” many reasons for weather modification in warfare were given. This document was published in 1996. Reich found that this weather war was going on since before human beings
had weather modification capabilities, and that there were off-world forces involved. Today, human beings are also participating in the weather war, some for the purpose of destruction, and some for the purpose of undoing the harm and restoring the climate. The drought in California was ended after three years of widespread orgonite distribution throughout the state in strategic locations. This work also included Oregon, where storm systems that would have normally come through California were being blocked and forced to rain out excessively over the Pacific Northwest. The cell phone tower arrays along the coastline were being used as a frequency fence to stop incoming precipitation. Day after day on the satellite image, one could see the incoming moisture hit a wall and be diverted up and over California in what was termed the “polar vortex.” By neutralizing the emitters of positively ionizing DOR (deadly orgone radiation) with orgone energy devices called towerbusters, clouds were once more able to form through the hydrogen bond between water molecules. This can only occur in a negatively ionized, healthy atmosphere with a high orgone concentration. In addition to promoting cloud formation, orgone energy and negative ionization also clean air pollution out of the sky. From 2014 to 2017, California saw a dramatic reduction in geoengineering pollution as well as a gradual increase in rainfall, culminating in the historic precipitation of the winter of 2016-2017. Mainstream news and meteorology have come up with a myriad of excuses for the dramatic turnaround in

AVE YOU EVER been so overloaded with such wonderful gifts that you could hardly breathe from the joy of it? I have heard, and personally experienced, that your body replaces every single cell, billions and trillions of them, completely once every 7 years. We become, one way or the other, a complete new being! Well, here at The New Agora, that is exactly what’s happening for us in our 7th year: Transformations, growth, wonderful new contributions and, literally, daily new requests to ‘’join us’’ in one wonderful form or another. I had always thought, as we tried over the years to encourage and invite new folks to work with us, that you ‘’needed’’ new help to grow your abundance. I now see ‘’I was wrong’’! Being the potentially powerful generators of our own energy, and thus abundant existence, I have seen, that you first create the abundance, like nature putting more fruit than one person could possibly eat on one tree, and then invite others to join in sharing that abundance with you. With that great feeling, and what better time than spring, we are now in the position to do just that, and invite others, from BC and the rest of Canada, and anyone else in the world, to come and share, with love and open hearts, in the successful creation and enterprise that has become The New Agora. We have the honour, beginning this month of working regularly with Mear One and his lovely partner Candice. For our Cover Art, Mear One’s creations, both beautiful and evocative, are adding a whole new artistically bombastic feeling to our publication as we move forward this season. All the while Candice has been connecting us with loving and intelligent creators who will be enhancing the content of our articles and participator offerings. Bernhard Guenther from www.veilofreality.com is just one of many, through her help, that have come our way, that we’ll be sharing inprint, online and in our soon-to-be launched, exclusive, subscription-onlydigital publication, sister to the printed pages of The New Agora. Yep, that’s right, we just couldn’t be held back from sharing more great information, as in some ways our monthly printed publication is limited. Over the years, we have almost burst with the pressure of not being able to share all that we wished with all whom wished it. For many various and sometimes nefarious reasons, we couldn’t go as in depth with articles, images, pictures, linked support information of various kinds and videos, as we would have liked on all the important topics we’ve felt needed sharing with our many, many readers. Well NOW we can! Keep an eye on these pages, in fact this very page, over the next few of months as we officially announce the launch of our paid-subscriptiononly-digital version of our print publication ‘’The New Now’’. Many more details to come, but if you wish to be among the first to sign up for this new publication, please send me a request email and I will personally share the how’s and when’s as available. A big thanks to everyone who is making this possible, and a big invitation, if you’ve been sitting on that ‘pointy fence’ to jump off it already and contact us with your own personal participation be it conscious events, helpful articles, strong business associations, creativity, inventions, synergy of the best kind, potentially so much more, really, don’t know ‘til you share. THOUSAND WORDS, I hear a picture would be faster. Yet here we are. Well, let’s see if that holds true. I’m known for alacrity, although brevity’s can be a bitch. For a thousand pictures though I hear that a symbol would do instead. I’ve got a quite few of those in the back, more to do with the work (and by work I mean something far grander and more natural to the humanbean than toil - toil, cauldron’s a boil) that Lorenzo (the publisher) and I were engaged in before this world’s timely interruption of calamity, catastrophe and other questionable canoodlings sent to us from those who would have us be free. What’s this you ask? To whom do I refer? Those who would have us free? Canoodlings? Heavens. What does it all mean? Funny you should ask. Catastrophes and calamities we’re all familiar with, surely by now, even if it’s only from the glass teat (boob tube) that we sup, or from that festering affair called culture we’ve all borne suppository-like from the getgo, and, hopefully the let-go and get-gone. Just imagine a high-colonic of a spiritual kind, spiritual italicized here because it’s all just energy, sugar britches. Swathing one’s self in a new-age toga of passive posturing, or slapping on an -ism (Buddha weren’t no Buddhist) of any kind onto the latest conveniently disposable fad of distraction really can’t reach those hard to get places. No, for that you call the professionals, the kind that ain’t afraid of getting right in there, balls deep as they say, real dirty business; it’s where the work really is, and that shite’s real work folks, unpleasant, torturous even, not for the faint of heart, or the uninitiated. Enter the Over-Shmoes, the ill-uminati, the black hats, you know who, most anyone with a serious suit and tie, the Gov., politicos, NGO’s, champions of separateness, of selfishness… jeez, I could go on and on and on: suffice it to say there’s a whole lot of them. To be fair it’s a darn big job. Look around at how much of humanity is crammed up its own backside and you’ll start to really get the picture of the amazing task and effort afoot, of the astounding sacrifice being made by those who are embodying the choice of being other than free. Okay, that takes care of the who, and a bit of the ‘what does it all mean’? Remember: humour’s essential or the medicine becomes too bitter. And yes my dear friends, canoodlings, kisses and cuddles of an amorous nature. Certainly that ain’t always obvious when that separate selfish self is strangling the life out of you, or crushing you down with that famous hob-nailed boot, or taxing life itself with death contracts, or selling the kiddies off to
being might say ‘no gracias’, and mean it, eventually. Lucky for us we’re all evolving beings then, eh? Just in different places in our being, our doing, our jouney. That’s all well and good you add but what about the canoodling? Let’s say for the sake of this little ditty that forgiveness, as a first necessary step towards growing up, is the name of the game. Let’s say it’s the feeling that evolves us incredibly quickly towards the ultimate source of all that is (The Creator, God, The Big Cheese…what have you.) because it literally moves one away from selfishness (root of evil) and right into the flow of unconditional love, which is a fair descriptor of the actual energy of the All of Everything (my appellation for Source). Well, to get there ya need someone or something to forgive. And what a sacrifice! Enter the Black Hats, your daddy, girlfriend, boss, president, the French, whatever. It’s about the practical application of evolution in a single generation, a single moment really. This is where we are at and what we are asking for and presently talking about. This is why we’ve painted ourselves into an impossible corner with only an open window on the top floor left as an escape. It’s a long way down, potentially bottomless, and rocky as hell. Better to open up those wings first and give personal evolution a go. Even chickens can fly, if they have to, so be of good cheer. Baphomet or Belial or Mammon or whoever’s disingenuous. Certainly it hasn’t all been Short cut: include it all into your whips and chains as a great many of can buying these days. And yet...how about contextual field thereby obviating the need attest. HANGE IS EVER-PRESENT in our society. Everywhere we look, in every realm we glance at, in every discipline we gaze into, there is a salient stream of change taking place. Change is inherent to being part of a living system, that of nature – it is the rollercoaster upon which our life rides from beginning to end. Throughout history we have examples of conscious individuals that have spawned ceaseless change through their individual actions and creative potential. One of these individuals was Martin Luther King Jr. Many people are quite familiar with King’s ‘I have a dream’ passage, and rightly so. The thoughts he expressed via that remark spawned wildfires that still burn to this day. Another salient quote of his was: “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” In a world where many people want change, where many people expect change from elsewhere, where many people demand change from outside avenues, it would be wise to take King’s words to heart. Can we help other people with some health issues? Can we help individuals with any particular setback they may run into? Can we seek to make ameliorate the pain someone else might be feeling due to some troubling issue? The question echoes endlessly: What can we do for others? Speaking of others, there is a certain
The Road Of Change, The Road Of Tomorrow
section of the populace who seem to think that the only meaningful change that ever can happen must come from the outside – from others [i.e. politicians]. Ironically, the very change that can help us and help others is by putting our very consciousness and creativity into action. Understanding that it is the individual who holds the power is emblematic to knowing that it is the light that shuns the darkness. The one holding the most power in your life is you. In each of our lives, it is us – the individual – who holds the aces in the deck. However, we’ve been taught from youth to become dependent on others. Need to learn about health? Seek doctors. Need to learn about spirituality? Seek religion. Need to learn about schooling? Seek schools. Etc, etc, etc. Rinse and repeat, endlessly. We are taught to seek answers from elsewhere, never from ourselves. Rarely will individuals here it is they who are the power players in their own game of life. Rarely will

we hear as individuals that it is us who are capable of creating our own solutions for ourselves, that it is we who can pave or own path. But that is the truth. Each and every one of us has power to attain understanding of countless issues, and it’s a lot simpler than most think, although it does take some work. Perhaps modern life with endless conveniences and nigh everything at hand has made most of us lazy, and we have all gotten soft – when compared to our ancestors – when it comes to self sufficiency, but the fact remains that knowledge and awareness for us, and for other individuals remains at arms reach, ready to be had. All we need to do is grab hold of it and bring it closer to us. Awareness of what’s possible for all individuals is key. Helping others attain an awareness of what’s working against them in life is an idea that’s become a catalyst in my life for quite some time. This is because the burgeoning issues we are facing physically, mentally, psychologically, and so on are only getting more pressing by the day, and it’s imperative for cognizant individuals to come to terms with it, because they stand to get run over by the very system they work for, the very system that harvests
their every branch of life. Being keenly aware of the dastardly clever comptrollers that work behind the scenes and their modalities is but a start. Be it incessant propaganda with the mainstream media, an onslaught of social engineering in its many forms, or a veritable storm of mind control, the scale at which we are facing troublesome issues is compounding quite rapidly. Be that as it may, attaining individual selfempowerment through proactive, responsible action is the gateway to our solutions. By each of us employing conscious creativity and our unending inherent potential, we will finally be able to detach from the system-imposed paradigm we are brought into and reach more mindful pastures. Therein, as we begin [or continue] to transition from a reactive and stagnant state, to a proactive and conscious state, those meddlesome issues that have plagued us will begin to melt away like snow in the dessert. Always remember, the impetus for change begins with you, with your deeper consciousness. Ponder a bit, what would Martin Luther King Jr. have accomplished if he chose to stay stagnant over the pressing issues that he faced? The course of history would be far, far different. Thankfully, that potentiality went by the wayside. Ponder about what drives you; fight for what you believe in. Don’t wait for issues to arrive at your doorstep before taking action because it will be too late. Let’s quit falling into the whirlpool of twisted lies that are becoming more and more obvious every day.

www.collective-evolution.com IGONG COMBINES BOTH meditative and physically active elements. The physical elements are expressed through relaxing, visualization, stretching, and breathing. It’s a mind-body practice that first developed over 5,000 years ago, and comprises an important aspect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). There is also a term commonly used in the medical community related to this type of practice, known as Medical Qigong(MQ). It’s a mind-body practice that uses physical activity and meditation to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. Proponents of Qigong understand that some of our discomfort, sickness, and pain are a result of energy blockages or a “stagnation of energy flow in the energy channel in the human body.” According to this theory, “if there is a free flow and balance of energy, health can be improved and/or maintained and disease can be prevented,” a study published in the Annals of Oncology explains. The study also cites several others that demonstrate the many health benefits Qigong offers, such as lowered lipid levels, blood pressure, and levels of circulating stress hormones, enhanced immune function, improved well-being, and positive effects on inflammation and fatigue in cancer patients. This type of energy is also associated with “entanglement.” A study published in the American Journal of Chinese Medicine, as seen in the US National Library of Medicine, demonstrated that a women with special abilities was and is able to accelerate the germination of specific seeds for the purposes of developing a more robust seed stock. Her name is Chulin Sun, and she is a member of the Chinese Somatic Science Research Institute and a Waiqi practitioner, which

is a type of Qigong that teaches the practitioner to bring the Qi energy of traditional Chinese medicine under the control of the mind. People have reported it as a great way to maintain your health, manage illness, extent longevity, attain ‘enlightenment’ or a greater spiritual understanding, enhance concentration, improve breathing, and more.
Qigong Physical Exercises
Below is a list that was put together from a TCM scholar named Misha Cohen. She was trained in acupuncture at Lincoln Hospital’s Detox Program in the South Bronx under the auspices of the Quebec School of Acupuncture. After that she continued her studies in Traditional Oriental medicine. For more than two decades she has been developing treatment protocols
for people with HIV/AIDS. Internationally recognized, Misha is a leader in the field of Chinese medicine and a great place to start if you’re new to this subject and want to learn more. The list below was put together by her in her book titled The New Chinese Medicine Handbook: An Innovate Guide to Integrating Eastern Wisdom With Western Practice For Modern Healing. This comprehensive guidebook combines Chinese dietary guidelines with Western medicine, plus various other Eastern and Western healing therapies, including: n Basics of Chinese medicine n Acupuncture and moxibustion n Qi Gong: Chinese exercise and meditation n Dietary practices n Chinese herbal therapy
Warm Up Exercises Qigong Exercise One: Gentle Sway
1. For five minutes, move both of your arms from your shoulders in a gentle swinging motion. The motion itself is initiated from your waist: Twist from the waist as though your torso were a washcloth that you were wringing out. Don’t twist from the knees or you may harm them. Furthermore, twisting from the waist provides a massage to the internal organs and provides you the full benefits of the exercise. 2. To get started, move your arms side to side across your torso, and then back to
front. 3. Keep your knees slightly bent. Let your hips sway. Allow your mind to clear. At first, focus on the release of unnecessary and unconscious stress. After several weeks, you may shift your focus so that you think only about the swaying of your arms and the motion of Qi energy. This introduces you to the concept of being mindful of the present, much the same concept as found in Zen walking.
Qigong Exercise Two: The Bounce
In the beginning, try this for one to three minutes. 1. With your feet parallel and about shoulder’s width apart, bounce with your knees loose and your arms hanging at the side. They should feel empty and neutral. This is the zero position for your arms. When you are bouncing back and forth, your arms in zero should get a nice jiggling effect. 2. Keep your shoulders natural; neither pull them back or let them slump forward too much. When the zero position is used on the whole body, you should receive a feeling of deep relaxation throughout your body. This process brings awareness of internal tension so that you can do something to dispel it, if you choose. The combination of exercises one and two gently massages and tonifies the Organ Systems, which helps promote longevity.

The European commission (EC) has drafted regulations which would end the use of neonics, a family of agrichemicals which pose a ‘high acute risk to bees.’ Other pesticides are also included in the ban, and for those who consider the loss of pollinator insects to be a most critical issue today, this is also good news. http://bit.ly/2nJhRhU

he worst thing about a long-haul flight is, without doubt, the food. Forget turbulence, screaming toddlers or unexplained delays, meal times on a plane are almost universally unpleasant — and often stomach-churning — experiences. At best, the food is edible. At worst, it’s a scalding hot plastic tub of gloopy stew, overcooked rice or leathery meat and vegetables that have been boiled beyond all recognition. Chef Gordon Ramsay is certainly no fan. He recently revealed he refuses to eat on planes, bringing his own spread to keep him going. http://dailym.ai/2opRBa8

ANNABIS HAS BEEN a friend to humankind since before the written word, providing fiber for cordage and cloth, seeds for nutrition, and roots, leaves and flowers for ritual and healing. During the Neolithic period, our ancestors discovered uses for every part of cannabis, which was one of the first agricultural crops, perhaps the first, ever to be grown and harvested some 12,000 years ago. Agriculture, strictly speaking, is not a natural phenomenon. It is an expression of human ingenuity, an invention that has been described as the basis – literally the ground – of modern civilization. “The onset of agriculture was probably one of the most dramatic and important developments in human history,” writes Swiss scientist Jürg Gertsch, who explores the profound consequences of dietary changes brought on by food cultivation in a recent article in the British Journal of Pharmacology, entitled “Cannabimimetic phytochemicals in the diet – an evolutionary link to food selection and metabolic stress adaptation?” Gertsch’s provocative thesis is that chronic metabolic disorders, currently a worldwide pandemic, are rooted in “a mismatch between ancient genes and high caloric diets” that ensued with the introduction of agriculture. “The multimillion year evolutionary process during which nearly all genetic change reflected the life circumstances of our ancestors [was] suddenly disturbed” when “carbohydrate farming” supplanted the “hunter-gatherer diet rich in animal food,” says Gertsch, who maintains that “the interplay between diet and

the endocannabinoid system” is key to understanding today’s obesity/diabetes crisis and its potential remediation. The endocannabinoid system, an ancient biological signaling network, regulates numerous physiological processes, including intestinal function, glucose metabolism, and the stress response. A dysregulated endocannabinoid system is implicated in metabolic and bowel pathologies and many other diseases. Gertsch discusses the different, yet complementary, roles of the cannabinoid receptors – CB1 and CB2 – pertaining to diet, digestion, and energy metabolism.
CB1 giveth

Mammalian CB1 receptors are concentrated in the brain and the central nervous system. They are also present in taste buds and the enteric nervous system (the gut-brain axis). Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), marijuana’s main psychoactive component, boosts appetite and food intake by binding to the CB1 receptor – a phenomenon playfully known as “the munchies.” But CB1 receptors, as Gertsch points out, “can exert paradoxical effects on food intake,” facilitating essential nourishment as well as metabolic imbalance. CB1 receptor signaling triggers a newborn’s suckling instinct. Mother’s milk is well endowed with arachidonic acid, a basic building block of the brain’s own marijuanalike compounds, anandamide and 2AG. These endogenous cannabinoid compounds bind to the same cell receptors – CB1 and CB2 – that mediate many of the effects of marijuana. Found in eggs, meat, and dairy products, arachidonic acid intake increases endocannabinoid levels in different tissues and is crucial for pre- and post-natal brain development. Early hominids lived a precarious wilderness existence, requiring significant physical exertion (hunting and gathering) for survival. Famine, microbial infection, traumatic encounters with predators, fight
or flight – all were hallmarks of a preagriculturist, subsistence lifestyle. Given the metabolic demands of their large brains and strenuous daily activities, our ancestors needed to consume energy-dense, nutrientrich food. In addition to heightening one’s sense of smell and stimulating appetite, CB1 receptor signaling “may facilitate survival after excessive physical activity, stress and trauma by restoring homeostasis, suppressing negative memories and reducing anxiety at the level of the central nervous system,” writes Gertsch, who explains that “CB1 receptor activation is associated with increased energy intake and decreased energy expenditure by controlling neural pathways.” And CB1 taketh away Combined with rigorous, day-to-day aerobics, the hunter-gatherer diet did not engender obesity, metabolic problems or cardiovascular disease. But the highfat hunter-gatherer diet, which served our ancestors well, changed significantly with the advent of cultivated food. “Carbohydrate farming incited the most important dietary transition, which is still ongoing to the present day,” says Gertsch. There is a continuum, he maintains, between plant carbohydrate cultivation of yore and today’s over-starched, oversweetened and over-processed Western diet. Grain, carbs, sugar, alcohol, high

Can Cannabis be the Remedy for the Opioid Crisis?
I
T HAS BEEN a confusing month in Canada with the recent raids of Cannabis Culture and the arrests of long-time Cannabis activists and advocates Jodie and Marc Emery on March 8th at Pearson International Airport coinciding with the Trudeau government’s promise to release legislation on Cannabis Legalization on April 20th. Amongst recent reports, it has been stated that Cannabis will be nationally legalized in Canada by July 1, 2018. However, many people are wondering why people are still getting arrested and having to face criminal charges when Canada is paving the way for legalization. According to Health Canada, Cannabis (marijuana) remains a “Schedule II drug under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act since 1923, and unless otherwise regulated for production and distribution for medical purposes, is subject to offences under that Act.” However, Marc Emery states that all uses of Cannabis are therapeutic and hence in this time of major constitutional change, the government should introduce an interim period of decriminalization. On February 24, 2016 renowned defense lawyer John Conroy, who has been working on Cannabis laws for over 40 years stated “Mr. Trudeau’s government could simply pass an order-in-council by cabinet, removing Cannabis from schedule 2 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.” Nevertheless, old beliefs do not die easily and changing public perception and government policy often takes years. However, with the opioid crisis in Canada becoming worse everyday, the shift in ideology and acceptance of Cannabis, in general, and more specifically as an alternative to opioids might happen sooner than expected. According to a publication by the Health Officers Council of British Columbia back in 2007, there were “47,000 drug-related deaths yearly in Canada.” The number one cause of these deaths was prescription opioids. Opioids are synthetic depressants drugs that are prescribed for pain relief. Some common opioids are Oxycodone, Tylenol with codeine and Fentanyl. Canada has become the “second largest consumer of prescription opioids, second only to the United States, and with a 203% increase in usage between 2000 and 2010.” A report by the Center for Addiction and Mental Health, found that from “2009 to 2014, at least 655 Canadians died as a result of fentanyl.” Now, it’s important to note that opioid medication can be extremely helpful in alleviating acute pain, and controlling symptoms of pain and discomfort, especially for those people who are terminally ill. However, the overuse and abuse of these prescription opioid medications is painting another story. Many people start with acute pain, where their doctor prescribes Hydromorph Contin, oxycodone or fentanyl to lessen their pain after a sports injury to ease back pain, or muscle aches; but, due to the addictive nature of these opioids, these people soon become dependent and have to consume higher amounts of the pain killers in order to have the “relief” or the “high.” Now, where does Cannabis fit into this story? We are still at the tip of the iceberg,
Page 11
regarding cannabis research, due to Cannabis being a schedule I drug in the United States, under even more strict regulations than Canada. However, there is substantial evidence for the benefits of Cannabis in regards to pain reduction. As a result of thousands of patient cases, Cannabis has been shown to be especially helpful for autoimmune diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and Celiac Disease, all of which become exasperated due to inflammation. This is because inflammation prompts the body to start attacking itself. So, how does Cannabis help with these issues? Our human body has receptors for cannabinoids, two of the most common being THC and CBD. Hence, Cannabis works with our own endocannabinoid system that regulates homeostasis, appetite, sleep, pain reduction, and neurotransmitter levels. Hence, Cannabis does not only alleviate the symptoms of pain, like opioids, but rather brings the body back to a state of balance. While research in this area is still growing, studies show increasing evidence for the benefits of Cannabis for chronic pain. In 2015, a Canadian study published in the Journal of Pain found “medical marijuana was mostly safe for treating chronic pain.” In addition, Barth Wilsey, the director of University of California Center for Cannabis Research, who has evaluated 63 studies on the THC for treating pain, concluded, “THC significantly reduced neuropathic pain.” Although further research is needed for the effects of Cannabis on pain, the one thing that does remain a constant is that Cannabis products are not fatal, unlike opioids, and with thousands of positive patient cases, it’s only a matter of time until the government starts to increase funding for Cannabis research in Canada. Amidst all of this, it is important to remember that we are speaking about a plant medicine, which has been used for over 5,000 years. As people living in Canada, it’s important that we stay well informed about the cutting-edge research on Cannabis for our health and our future. NARCHY VS. MINARCHY is the contrast between the idea of a society with no government (anarchy) or a small, limited government (minarchy). For many awake and aware people, the current state of the world is so dysfunctional that they have gone beyond the point of trying to justify our current governmental structures. For this growing number of people of all nations and cultures, it’s no longer about left vs. right, Democrat vs. Republican, socialism vs. conservatism or all the other false dichotomies that abound on the political spectrum. For many of us, there’s simply no point in investing time and energy into an illusion — the political illusion — while pretending it actually makes a difference. Why argue who is going to be the better slave master or the lesser of two evils? We are really only left with 2 choices: between having a small government or having no government. So which would be better for humanity, minarchy or anarchy?
Definitions of Anarchy, Minarchy and Voluntaryism First of all, the words anarchy and minarchy come from the Greek words “an-” (meaning without), “arkhos” (meaning rule, chief or ruler) and the Latin prefix “min-” (meaning small). Thus, anarchy is a society or nation with no rules (i.e. governmentsanctioned law), rulers or a ruling class, whereas minarchy is one with a minimal amount of rules, rulers and a ruling class. Care must be taken not to confuse minarchy with monarchy! Also, instead of the term anarchy, it may be more apt to use the word voluntaryism, which describes a stateless society where all human interactions are voluntary and where no central authority exists to make or enforce laws.
Page 12
Anarchy vs. Minarchy Do You Want a Little Government or None at All? Anarchy ≠ Chaos Before we begin, it’s important to address a common misconception, that anarchy = chaos. Anarchy does not equal chaos! You can still have organization, cooperation, harmony and trust in a society where there is no central authority. It is up to the individual members to act in such a way to create that society. You can even have hierarchy in a voluntary society, where members voluntarily choose to structure an organization like that (e.g. for purposes of speed, coherence and efficiency). However, such hierarchy would never be forced on anyone, because the organizations containing it would be voluntary associations. Likewise, it’s important to stress that anarchy does not mean utopia either. It’s naive to think that everyone will just magically get along and there will be no criminals or evil if we just remove government. However, as I will get to later, the point is about humanity evolving in terms of responsibility so that we can face these problems in a different way. The Pros of Minarchism: Arguments For a Small, Limited Government Many people who become anarchists or voluntaryists first become minarchists, because the idea of imagining the abolition of all government in a single step is very daunting for most. Minarchists believe that we can’t do away with government altogether, because it’s necessary and fulfills too many vital, essential roles that would be difficult or impossible to
otherwise fulfill. These are the top reasons and justifications usually proposed for minarchy: n Need for a central register in society (e.g. to be the one “official” list of titles to property, which plays a key part in dispute resolution); n Need for central planning and centralized authority for good organization; n Need to have some mechanism to control and offset other power gangs in society, such as the Mafia and the Corporatocracy; n Criminal justice (i.e. catching criminals, providing the arena and the judge for trials of suspects); and n Health safety protection (e.g. forcing quarantine in case of an outbreak). Some people also advance the claim that government (and governmentallyapproved corporate structures) are the reason that Western nations evolved faster than other nations. In this entertaining debate at Anarchapulco, Mark Skousen makes the points that we need minarchy to force a criminal suspect to actually come to the courtroom and stand trial, to ensure quarantine in emergency situations, and to enforce eminent domain (the right government takes upon itself to be able to force-buy anyone’s property for national and municipal organizational purposes).
The Cons of Minarchy: Arguments Against a Small, Limited Government
His opponent, Larken Rose, vehemently denies that minarchy is a good idea. He points out the following reasons why: n Minarchists advocate the “arch” or the existence of a ruling class. All monarchists are statists. They still believe in external authority. They still advocate some kind of government; they just think or want that such a government only do what they want it to do; n Who decides what the “minimum” amount of power is that a government is allowed to wield? It will always be arbitrary; n The constitutional limits written down to supposedly restrain minarchy governments don’t work. No one pays attention to the limits, and it’s ultimately not possible to enforce them; n A constitution almost always provides for its own amendment, so anyone can “legally” and “constitutionally” change the entire constitution piece by piece. Look at how the Weimar Republic “legally” gave Hitler massive power and became the totalitarian state of Nazi Germany; n Practically speaking, has minarchism ever done what it was promised to do? Like communism, it may be good in theory, but has a government EVER existed that only protected individual rights and never grew larger or out-of-control? Look at the US experiment: it was based on the theory of limited government, but has now grown to become the biggest empire in the history of the world (far more tyrannical than King George ever was), engaging in routine tyranny such as mass surveillance, theft via mandatory and excessive taxation, torture, assassination, foreign intervention and continuous imperialistic war around the world; n Morally speaking, it’s fundamentally wrong (and impossible) to delegate rights you don’t have. How can a government claim any moral right to do what people cannot morally do? Where did government get its supposed right to steal, punish, imprison and kill, when it’s only made up of people, and no single
u o Y
n w O
person has that right himself or herself? Why does “government” suddenly have magical and extraordinary moral rights?
But We ’Need’ Government … Don’t We? The usual knee-jerk response from people is that we “need” government and we can’t possibly do away with it completely. But does this stand up to closer scrutiny? Do we really need government to perform all the functions it currently does, or could we open a market for various businesses to compete? For example, could we have a free market for garbage collection? Utilities? Road-building? Dispute resolution? In all cases, there’s no logical reason why we couldn’t allow private businesses to perform these functions and services. Sure, it some cases it’s easier to have competing business (utilities) than others where central planning makes it more efficient (road-building), but couldn’t people find a fair way to get together and pay for these voluntarily in groups, neighborhoods and associations? Anarchists such as Stefan Molyneux have developed the idea of a free market of DROs (Dispute Resolution Organizations) who function as private defense agencies and arbitrators, and whom people employ when they go into contract with each other as a trusted 3rd party. Indeed, big corporations such as PayPal, eBay and Visa already have such private arbitrators anyway, preferring to use them than governmental courts. The people always have some champion whom they set over them and nurse into greatness ... This and no other is the root from which a tyrant springs; when he first appears he is a protector. ~Plato~
Without Government, Who Would Protect Us From Evil?
As stated above, anarchy does not mean an automatic utopia. From a voluntaryist point of view, removing government is a great step towards freedom, but many will be scared of the idea. “Who will protect us from evil?” they ask. The answer is, quite simply, that we all have to face it regardless of the existence of government or not. There will still be people and groups trying to trick, steal from and control others. Anarchy can’t protect against all evil. Nothing can. We have government right now, and such conniving people and groups still exist! The big problem is that all too often government becomes the vehicle for such evil rather than a protector against it. As Plato said, when the authoritarian comes on the scene, he appeals to people’s fears and base needs for safety and security. At first, he’s a savior and a protector; later, he’s a tyrant. When you create a center of power, you create an incentive and invitation for
n f l e
s r u
Yo
dark forces to seize control of that center of power — then they can magnify and “force multiply” (to use a military term) their dark agenda. Has there ever been a governmental situation where this did not happen? As I discussed in the article The Top 3 Reasons Why the System Keeps Perpetuating Itself (http://freedom-articles.toolsforfreedom.com/ system-perpetuation-top-3-reasons/), you can use the analogy of the ring of power from the Lord of the Rings. Creating a ring of power (a metaphor for a ruling class, a government and a belief in authority) is dangerous in and of itself, because you are creating an artificial construct that you can never guarantee will be always used for good. We all know the famous phrase that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. There’s no way around it! We all know that politicians are puppets of a darker force. Put simply, the dark force behind government uses government to carry out its plans. What we see in practice, time and time again, is that government ends up enabling the very thing it was supposedly created to stop or protect against! So many insiders have told us this is exactly how the game works. For example, remember the story of Smedley Butler, who exposed how corporations try to win over the centralized coercive power of government to sanction their crimes, and wrote how he regretted becoming a “high class muscle man” for the corporatocracy. Government has shown itself to be a vehicle for an astonishing amount of evil. Government is an idea — nothing more — yet the practical implementation of this idea has caused untold death and destruction. The term democide was (according to Wikipedia) “revived and redefined by the political scientist R. J. Rummel (1932-2014) as ‘the murder of any person or people by their government, including genocide, politicide and mass murder’”. In other words, democide means death by government. Democide was the leading cause of non-natural death in the 20th century, responsible for around 262 million victims according to Rummel, including genocides like Stalin’s Great Purges, Mao Zedong’s Great Leap Forward and the deaths from the colonial policy in the Congo Free State. Yes, communist and fascist governments may be a worse flavor of evil, but so-called liberal democracies like the UK and US have been drenched in blood for centuries now.
Can the Free Market “Guard the Guardians” Better? Of course, there is no guarantee that anarchy will stop all evil, but perhaps the free market can do a better job than a minarchist system. First off, people so inclined would be happy to take charge of their own defense (by owning and using guns, by taking self-defense courses, etc.). But the defense of your person, your property and your family could also be outsourced to a private group or organization that you trusted. One idea is that, in a free
Page 13
market, DROs could just be like private defense agencies who are vying for your business. The first thing they would have to do would be to convince you that they aren’t a threat themselves and that they are not going to try to seize power over everyone. They would have to have grand guarantees and promises (e.g. Molyneux suggests something like they have to give all their money to charity and close down business if they are caught lying). They would be subject to the scrutiny of the market. If they were found to have deceived people, their business would suffer. People would have the choice to use or not use them. It has been pointed out that the weakness of libertarianism as a philosophy is that it is strong on big bullies (centralized government) but weak on small bullies (local gangs, abusive parents/spouses, etc.). For instance, how would a voluntary society deal with domestic abuse within a family? One answer is that DROs could be called just as cops are now, and while they wouldn’t have the “legal authority” to attack or imprison the abuser (because there would be no such thing as legal authority in an anarchist society), they could certainly use force in self-defense just as any other person would, regardless of if they have a badge and uniform or not. People would have to participate more in forming local groups to resolve conflict and achieve justice for victims. While this may sound scary to some, remember this: as much as government may help some victims of abuse, government also shields and covers up the perpetrators of massive abuse (a great example is how government members participate in pedophilia at the highest levels all across the world. http:// freedom-articles.toolsforfreedom.com/satanicpedophilia-network-exposed-australia/) Again we are left with the awkward realization: government commits and encourages more evil than it stops, or to put it more accurately, the concept and creation of government allow evil and evildoers to amplify their influence and control people more than if government simply did not exist.
Government Creates and Protects Mafia and Corporate Monopolies Even if you ignore the egregious evils of governmental democide, which some may try to explain away by saying it’s government gone bad, the fact remains that government itself often protects the “bad guys” rather than the “good guys”. By having the power to make law for an entire area, government can create monopolies (e.g. money issuance) and black markets (e.g. prohibition on alcohol). The international banking cartel led by the Rothschilds has prospered mostly because the government has given away its own power to create currency, and has made it legal and mandatory for everyone to accept fiat currency or paper money. Without that governmental decree, the banksters would face more serious competition in the forms of alternative currencies, and people would have more options against them. This is a classic case where government serves and encourages evil rather than protects us from it. Government itself is a monopoly. It can be defined as the organization within a given geographical area that claims the sole right to rule and the sole right to initiate violence against others who do not obey its decrees. It sets itself up as the sole authority. Once you have a monopoly, you remove the power of the free market and competition. The end user or consumer no longer has options. New World Order conspirator John D. Rockefeller once said, “Competition is a sin”. As a monopoly, government removes itself from the normal pressures that companies face in an economic environment where companies have to perform well or else risk going out of business — and therefore has no real incentive to do its job properly.
Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action." ~George Washington~
When an organization gains a monopoly, it shields itself from ostracism — a great tool of anarchy. Ostracism is the technique by which citizens in a free and voluntary society can make their preferences known, and a kind of way that they “vote” by who they associate with, what products they buy and with whom they do business. Collectively, it forms a network of economic checks and balances which are far better than anything the Constitution could ever protect against (and after all, the US Constitution is just “a goddamn piece of paper” [quote from George W. Bush] in the eyes of tyrants). Government is not a servant; that’s the lie fed to us. Government is a violent master. Government is first and foremost violence, and secondarily an organizational tool. The above quote is attributed to first US president George Washington.
Removing the Belief in Authority and Taking Responsibility True anarchy or true voluntaryism takes place first inside your mind, not in the outside world. It all comes down to the belief in authority, to the notion that we have to have a ruling class, or that any ruler can be legitimate in a world where we are all born equal. A careful analysis shows that government cannot justify its political authority (http:// freedom-articles.toolsforfreedom.com/
political-authority-no-real-basis/), no matter whether you use the arguments of social contract, implicit consent, explicit consent or consequentialism. All of these arguments can be overturned with logic to show that government is simply force masquerading in a variety of disguises such as consent, duty or so-called benevolent dictatorship (an oxymoron). Believing out of fear that we have to have government (no matter what) is a symptom of mind control. True anarchy is not chaos or disorder, but rather removing the belief in authority, and keeping the rest. It’s overturning the idea that politicians and government get an exemption from morality. There is no need to do away with organization and cooperation; there is a need to do away with the initiation of violence. Underneath it all, there is a general tendency in some people to be lazy and scared. We want a final arbiter or decider because we don’t want to have to work out things ourselves. Yes, it can be tricky, complicated and difficult to resolve disputes and conflicts, especially when they go into grey areas. It takes responsibility, effort and skill in dispute resolution. But can we justify outsourcing this just because we don’t feel like being more responsible? Or putting out too much effort? Or because we imagine we don’t have the skills and we don’t want to push ourselves to develop them? Can we really justify creating this fictitious seat of power, this morality-free zone, just because we feel too uncomfortable trying to work these things out ourselves? My answer is that we cannot justify it, nor can we even possibly outsource it, for every government necessarily has within it the seed of power, corruption and violence; otherwise, without the power to coerce, it would not be government.

Once you can sense the Qi, exercise your intention (which is the mind/spirit part of the exercise) and use your mind to move your Qi out from your body, expanding the zone in which you are comfortable. You may allow the Qi to drift out on the exhalation and then hold it there as you inhale. When you have learned to be comfortable expanding and contracting your Qi, you will feel stronger and healthier.

In this, you feel the Qi energy by using your hands like the bellow of an accordion or a bicycle pump. 1. Close your eyes halfway. Clear your mind and concentrate your attention on your palms. 2. Allow your breath to become slow, easy, without force. In a way, you are creating the very lightest trance. 3. Bring your hands together, palms touching and fingers pointing upward. The palm chakras, called Laogong, located in the center of the palms, should be touching. These chakras are areas where Qi can be felt emanating from the body. 4. Slowly move your hands, keeping the chakras aligned. When they are about 12 inches (30 cm) apart, slowly move them together using the least amount of physical effort possible. 5. You will be compressing the air between them like an accordion would. 6. Feel a warm or tingling sensation at the Laogong points on your palms. 7. Move your hands slowly back and forth, varying the range of the bellows. Repeat the accordion technique in different directions: horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. This exercise cultivates Qi, builds awareness, and sensitizes you. When you feel Qi energy for the first time, it changes your mind-set. The palm chakras, called Lagong
Qigong Exercise Four: Extending the Qi
If you have Deficient Qi, you should perform this exercise with your eyes half closed to cultivate and accumulate Qi energy. 1. If you have Stagnant Qi, the exercise

Only through conscious action will we be able to reach the potential/goals that we each as an individual inherently has. Keep searching. Keep growing. Keep learning. Keep planting seeds. Realizing how much we are capable of as individuals is far more important than anything else, and to be inactive when our own life needs us the most is the pull the plug on our own tomorrow. Enjoy life – your gift – and make it count. Become emboldened by your creative potential and let it take you into tomorrow. After all, if you put your mind to it your creative potential cannot be thwarted.

up, your hands go down and back and your spine straightens; when your foot touches the ground, your hands come up and your back hunches. Place your feet very gently on the ground and allow each step to proceed in slow motion, at a tempo that soothes and relaxes. Remember to maintain a breathing pattern, too. Inhale as your hands come up and your shoulders hunch. Exhale slowly, expanding your chest as you straighten your back. If this feels awkward, don’t despair. Even in a classroom situation, it takes a while to catch on to what to do.
Qigong Exercise Six: Blending Qi
3. First move the Qi into an orbit 1 inch (2.5 cm) from your skin. In increments of 6 inches (15 cm), move it outward, aiming for 3 feet (91 cm), but find the point where you are comfortable with it. Then bring it back in until it returns close to your body. This qigong exercise allows you to communicate with your Qi energy. By increasing the distance away from your body that you can feel Qi, you expand your area of comfort—your field of generosity—in the world around you. You will have less fear and greater abilities. By being able to bring your Qi halo in to skin level (or inside your skin) you may become more centered, calm, and self-assured. When you have learned to be comfortable expanding and contracting your Qi, you will feel stronger, healthier, and more in harmony internally and externally.
Qigong Exercise Five: Pumping The Qi
This is a tricky exercise that moves the Qi energy along the two connecting Extraordinary Channels: the Du Mai and Ren Mai. You may think of it as evolve, devolve, because your posture goes from a slumped, gorilla-like stance to an upright extended pose. It is adapted from the Wild Goose Qigong exercise routine. 1. The first position pushes the Qi down. As your hands push flat down, your spine and head straighten upward. Then as you allow the Qi to flow back upward, your hands rise, elbows bent and palms parallel to the floor. Your shoulders hunch. Repeat this six or seven times, inhaling as your hands come up and exhaling as your hands go down. 2. When you are comfortable with this Qigong exercise, you may combine it with a slow intentional walk forward: left knee bent and raised in an exaggerated stepping motion. When your knee comes

This exercise should help you become aware of various resonations of Qi energy and learn to blend them into a harmonious flow. 1. Stand with your feet a shoulder’s width apart, with your knees slightly bent. Allow your hands and arms to hang at your sides. 2. Shift your weight slightly to the balls of your feet. Simply be aware of the front side of your body. Concentrate on the Channels that pass along the front of your legs and torso, the top of your hands and arms, and your face. 3. After one minute, shift your weight to your heels. Become aware of the back of your body: the back of your head, your arms, your spine, and your legs. With practice, you may hold these postures for up to five minutes or longer. 4. You can also do this for the left and

Conclusion: Trust Our Cooperative Tendencies In closely comparing anarchy and minarchy, it is difficult to justify the minarchist position. When you put them under the microscope, government and political authority are not legitimate; they are force. The terms limited government and government by consent are oxymorons, because there are no good examples in the real world of a government that stays limited forever, and a government never really has the consent of all its citizens, most of whom are simply born into an existing system of coercion by coincidence of birth (and taught through indoctrination to never question it). The stateless society trusts the inherent tendency among humans (and Nature) to cooperate. Yes, there is competition in life, but the greater part is cooperation, symbiosis, trust and harmony. It is possible
right sides of the body. 5. In each instance, you may want to become aware of each section of the body. For example, the side of your head, the side of your arm and torso, your outer hip, the side of your leg and ankle, and the length of your foot. This makes the exercise a meditation. 6. Now, shifting to a more Nei Dan form of Qigong exercise, repeat the first three steps, but the motion should not be detectable visually. Use your mind to shift your weight forward and backward, feeling your Qi flowing along the front and back of your body. 7. Next, try to feel your Qi flowing along your back and front simultaneously. Students are often bewildered by the idea of feeling two sensations at the same time, but a useful analogy is to think of the color yellow and the color blue. When you blend those two colors together, you produce green. That green then becomes its own entity with its own wavelength. The same is true of blending the Qi energy from your front and from your back. The blend becomes another entity with its own resonation. Qigong has both Yin and Yang aspects: The Yin is being it; the Yan is doing it.
to find win/win solutions that don’t require the need for an outside authority, and to take that model and apply it to a whole society. To continue to believe in authority is to create a game where you may win or you may lose; it’s creating a throne or seat of power that “bad guys” can overtake. It’s well nigh time for humanity to grapple with the question of anarchy vs. minarchy, to move beyond the fears which are holding us back from creating a more free society.

Will Protests Alone Produce The Evolution We Want? By Crystal Foster
www.collective-evolution.com HESE WORLDWIDE PROTESTS have been a big wake-up call, and alerted masses of people to the fact that there are vast numbers who want change. People are starting to see that we all want the same things. But it is time to take the next step. As long as there are demonstrations against what those “in charge” are doing, we the people send the message that we hope to be listened to and for their actions to change. We hope that these ones in control at the top will start to work for the same things we want: peace, health, freedom and harmony for all people, and care of the earth. If that were their agenda, that is what we would already have. Marching against their actions now in the hope that our outrage will make them change their behaviour is doing two things: placing our faith in these people, and threatening them. We are saying both, “I believe you will listen and change your actions,” and “You’d better change your actions, or else!” Or Else What? That is to where we will be pushed.
Those who have been in control all this time won’t stop until they have no other choice. They hope to see things descend into chaos, so that people will look to them in desperation to create order again. It is time now to move the choice away from them and onto us. We actually have a choice right now. To be free. The world we all want will not be made by the same people who got us to where we are today. It will be made by us. We ourselves have placed conditions on our peace and freedom. We have believed that when we start earning enough, or have achieved xyz, or an event has happened, and then we will feel peaceful and be free. True peace,
happiness, and freedom don’t appear as a result of outer conditions. They also cannot be found in any other moment than right now. This moment is all we truly ever have. All of the chaos and unrest we’ve seen is happening to force us to realize that we can’t rely on outer conditions to bring our inner peace. It is happening so that we will turn within ourselves. There is a part of every one of us that is absolute peace, love, strength, and freedom. It cannot be taken away by anyone. When Nelson Mandela was persecuted and jailed, did he lose himself to anger? When Jesus was ridiculed and killed, did he shout at those who were insulting him and cower in fear? When Mother Theresa saw the pain and suffering every day in Calcutta, did she become so traumatized she couldn’t face it anymore and gave up? No. They had each been on their own journey within, and connected with the truth of who they were. They knew they could withstand anything and live in their truth. I have seen this in working with survivors of trauma, and in myself when I was faced with my deepest pain. What I
held accountable for it too. So there are definitely some strategies that we could implement to make this process more efficient, but so far the divide and conquer tactic has us in its grip. Nevertheless, there is plenty to be hopeful about. The meltdown of the control-system is good fun to watch. It offers some hopeful relief for the activist community, even though we cannot lose our focus and become complacent. Yet we do deserve a laugh too; experiencing the core controllers and their brainwashed minions scramble to maintain their relevance is a damn good feeling. How do we know this is happening? We can tell by their actions. For example, the fake news attack has put the final nail in the coffin of the mainstream media, even though most people don’t yet understand it. History will show, however, that George Orwell’s ‘1984’ did manifest in many ways, and the propagandized press and their sell-out journalists had a lot to do with facilitating it. On that theme, recent algorithms by Facebook have suppressed independent media and researchers, clearly illustrating their panic regarding the truth getting out. YouTube is demonetizing channels that aren’t in line with the official narratives, or the hypnotism of specific entertainment. In addition, the droves of trolls hired to discredit researchers and therefore hide
the truth is a reflection of how hard they’re trying to win the fight, even though they’re losing the battle. After all, we uphold the virtue of truth, which will ultimately set us free. Furthermore, political and corporate corruption is being exposed more frequently. The two-party tyranny is falling apart at the seams of support. The global pedophile network within the ‘excrete’ classes is under the microscope by a decentralized citizen investigation. Certain countries are attempting to detach from the transnational banking cartel and other tentacles of their slimy scam. Long established power structures, such as the unelected and anti-democratic institution called the European Union, are losing the faith of many people, even if its demise is a tricky agenda designed from the inside. And rising populism, which is simply the collective voice that ‘the people’ matter, is forcing the world to change, even if it’s not in the most ideal way. So the collapse of the control-matrix is very real, on so many levels. Even though it’s becoming more obvious, it’s been happening for a while and will continue to do so for some concept of time. It won’t be as calm as this moment right now either, so try to not just enjoy it, but capitalize on it too. The fact remains that the parasitically

be designed by and for the people, not by and for the corporate and oligarchical structures.” These four areas are the hegemonic mechanisms of the material control-matrix, which is why they deserve special attention. We can also use this template to help the uninitiated to become initiated, because most people would agree with it, regardless if they are conscious of these realities or not. In any case, building unity within the consciousness expansion network can only be a good thing, regardless if we peripherally or even fundamentally disagree on where we should go and how to get there. There are other mechanisms for unification too, such as some simple values. Valuing love over hate, freedom over enslavement and truth over lies are three basic examples. Yet probably the greatest principle or philosophy we can connect over is that of natural law, meaning do no harm except in self-defence, as well as honor and respect the sovereignty of each other, just as we should for ourselves. Accordingly, all governments and their employees should be expected to uphold natural law — the only real law — and be
have seen is that when people go through something that feels like it just might break them, the way through it is to go within. All you want to do is run from the pain. You want to fight whoever caused it, eat, drink, or drug it away so you can’t feel it, never leave the house again so you are never reminded of it, or throw yourself into work or partying to forget it. You can never run far enough. Feelings of pain will never stop having a hold on you until you face them. Going within means coming face to face with the pain whenever it hits you. Breathing through it. Allowing it to be there, part of your experience in that moment. Then something beautiful happens. The pain doesn’t destroy you. And you realize that you are not the pain. You are the eternal being underneath this pain, which can never be destroyed. You are a brave one that chose to come and live on this planet and be faced with pain like this so that you could learn through experience. You came here so that you could connect with the deep truth of who you are, and live that truth no matter what is going on around you. Now is the time to live that truth.
sick people at the top of the power pyramid — as well as many of the poor lost souls who implement their agenda — will fight to the very death, which means they’ll try anything they can, including more war, orchestrated disaster, economic collapse, societal destabilization or an array of other tactics to maintain and expand their empire. However, they will lose. In fact, when you’re fighting yourself, you already have. So from this point forward, our individual role has shifted dramatically. Get busy locally. Join forces with like-hearted people and play your part in ensuring that your family and community not only survives, but thrives, regardless of what happens in this sick, beautiful world. In the end, there is no greater legacy to leave behind.

Why Growing Your Own Organic Food Is One Of The Most Important Things You Can Do In A Corrupt Political System By Alanna Ketler
www.collective-evolution.com
W
HAT IS THE best way that you yourself can help to implement real change in your community and the world? Do you ever ask yourself that question? I truly believe that opting out of the structures that do not serve humanity is one of the best ways to go about this. If something does not resonate with you, or does not serve the planet or the beings dwelling on it, then simply don’t buy into it. For example, if you oppose genetically modified foods and the companies that produce them, like Monsanto, then don’t support them with your dollars. Stick to organic whenever possible and do your research to ensure you are not buying products that use ingredients produced by this company. Many of the change makers in our society are planting seeds, and I don’t just mean that metaphorically — they are literally planting seeds and starting to grow their own food. This is a revolutionary act; it challenges our current structures in many different ways. Not only does it mean you are taking complete control of what you are putting into your body, but you are also cutting down on the massive amount of energy used to produce and ship the food sold in grocery stores. Why not take matters into your own hands and grow your own food?
Guerilla Gardening Is an Effective Form of Political Protest Take Ron Finley, for example, who
popularized the term Guerilla Gardening. He inspires the world with his blunt assertion that the corporate food system enslaves us, and he argues that our best weapon to fight against this enslavement and take back our food freedom is fertile soil. And he’s absolutely right: Without soil, we have nothing. “I live in a food prison… It’s all by design just like prisons are by designs. I just got tired of being an inmate. So I figured, let me change this paradigm, let me grow my own food. This is one thing I can do to escape this predestined life that I have unwittingly subscribed to.” – Ron Finley He makes an important point here. We don’t necessarily choose this life that we are born into, but we still always have a choice about what we want to do and create once we are here, especially once we become aware of the systems that are in place. By simply growing your own food you: n Drastically decrease your dependence on a corporate food system. n Improve your physical and mental health by providing hands on, outdoor activity for yourself. After all, “Gardening is cheaper than therapy, plus you get tomatoes.” n By tending to a garden, you are spending more time outdoors and therefore away from technology, both of which benefit your overall well being immensely. n Directly threaten Monsanto, who is raping the Earth of its nutrient-rich soil and
robbing us of our health. n Encourage the idea of community in both cities and rural areas and gain the opportunity to connect with more people and interact face-to-face with other potential change makers in your city. n Work to protect the soil that is still alive and prevent future disaster. n Become more financially secure, as you would be potentially cutting down a large portion of your grocery bill. As they say, “Growing your own food is like printing your own money.” n Set a great example for others to follow. Leading by example is one of the most effective ways to create change and is sure to spark the interest of many others, especially if you reach out and consider holding workshops or accepting volunteers to help you. This movement is about taking your power back. As Henry Kissinger once said: “He who controls the food supply controls the people; who controls the energy can control whole continents; who controls money can control the world.” Growing your own food tackles these issues head on.
How Can You Start?
Unfortunately, not everyone lives in a house with a huge yard or enough space for a garden, which means space is a big issue for many people, particularly city dwellers. There are many things you can do to get
around this, however. You could reach out to a friend that has land they aren’t using and offer them free food in exchange for some of their yard space, for example. I don’t know about you, but I’d say that’s a pretty good deal. If this doesn’t work, or you don’t know anyone with space for a garden, consider looking into community gardens in your city. These are patches of land divided into lots that you can essentially rent out for a season. If your city does not currently have something like this, it is something that is definitely worth taking to your city council and getting it started. Chances are your city will jump right on board with funding for a project such as this. There are also a number of DIY projects you can check out for an awesome balcony or patio garden, like these pallet gardens, or at the very least you can even just grow your own herbs in your kitchen! If none of these options are available to you, don’t sweat it — there is still a lot you can do. If you still want to be a guerilla gardener, but absolutely can’t grow any of your own food, then support your local farmers and markets by buying local. Let your dollar be your political voice and spend it wisely. No one can do everything, but everyone can do something! It’s time to take the power back! Much Love

Against HYPERTENSION
ATING POTASSIUM-RICH FOODS like sweet potatoes, avocados, spinach, beans, bananas — and even coffee — could be key to lowering blood pressure, according to Alicia McDonough, PhD, professor of cell and neurobiology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). “Decreasing sodium intake is a well-established way to lower blood pressure,” McDonough says, “but evidence suggests that increasing dietary potassium may have an equally important effect on hypertension.” Hypertension is a global health issue that affects more than one billion people worldwide. The World Health Organization estimates that hypertension is responsible for at least 51 percent of deaths due to stroke and 45 percent of deaths due to heart disease. McDonough explored the link between blood pressure and dietary sodium, potassium and the sodiumpotassium ratio in a review article published in the April 2017 issue of the American Journal of Physiology – Endocrinology and Metabolism. The review looked at population, interventional and molecular mechanism studies that investigated the
Page 17
effects of dietary sodium and potassium on hypertension. McDonough’s review found several population studies demonstrating that higher dietary potassium (estimated from urinary excretion or dietary recall) was associated with lower blood pressure, regardless of sodium intake. Interventional studies with potassium supplementation also suggested that potassium provides a direct benefit. McDonough reviewed recent studies in rodent models, from her own lab and others, to illustrate the mechanisms for potassium benefit. These studies indicated that the body does a balancing act that uses sodium to maintain close control of potassium levels in the blood, which is critical to normal heart, nerve and muscle function. “When dietary potassium is high, kidneys excrete more salt and water, which increases potassium excretion,” McDonough says. “Eating a high potassium diet is like taking a diuretic.” Increasing dietary potassium will take a conscious effort, however. McDonough explains that our early ancestors ate primitive diets that were high in fruits, roots, vegetables, beans and grains (all higher in potassium) and very low in sodium. As a result, humans evolved to crave sodium — but not potassium. Modern diets, however,
have changed drastically since then: processed food companies add salt to satisfy our cravings, and processed foods are usually low in potassium. “If you eat a typical Western diet,” McDonough says, “your sodium intake is high and your potassium intake is low. This significantly increases your chances of developing high blood pressure.” When dietary potassium is low, the balancing act uses sodium retention to hold onto the limited potassium, which is like eating a higher sodium diet, she says. But how much dietary potassium should we consume? A 2004 Institute of Medicine report recommends that adults consume at least 4.7 grams of potassium per day to lower blood pressure, blunt the effects of dietary sodium and reduce the risks of kidney stones and bone loss, McDonough says. Eating ¾ cup of black beans, for example, will help you achieve almost 50 percent of your daily potassium goal. Editor’s note: Great news! A large salad with dark leafy greens can make up half or more of one day’s potassium – add a 3/4 cup of beans and perhaps a baked potato and you’ve got plenty of detoxifying potassium for the day. Raw organic fruits and vegetables can cure cancer So Why Don’t Oncologists Tell Their Patients?
By S. D. Wells

HERE IS A 75-year “CON” known as Western Medicine, but it’s a hush-hush topic in the news and in newspapers and magazines. Although medical doctors and surgeons are experts at fixing broken bones or removing animal fat from clogged arteries, the “pharmaceutical nation” known as the USA is caving in on itself, but nobody is allowed to talk about it on TV, or they lose all their sponsors. There is also a world of medicine known as organic food, but some people want to cook it, fry it, boil it or broil it, or even worse, grill it out, and that LIVE food becomes DEAD food, useless to the body, which needs nutrients for immunity, cellular health, vitality and sustainability.
Is there a “Cancer Industrial Complex” in the USA?
So why don’t oncologists talk about RAW foods, which are full of nutrients, oxygen for the cells (the cure for cancer) and the RAW REGIMEN when people

RECENT ANALYSIS COMMISSIONED by Friends of the Earth Europe finds that living in the countryside offers greater health benefits than living in the city. Researchers at the Institute for European Environmental Policy examined data from more than 200 academic studies and finds that living in the countryside — where green, open spaces can be easily accessed — may help cut the risk of premature death and certain diseases. Conversely, living in heavily polluted cities may raise the risk of these conditions, the analysis shows. The results of the analysis

are on their “death beds” or “sent home to die” with pancreatic cancer, liver cancer or cancer of some other organ that you have to have to survive? When cancer spreads to the lymph nodes or the spinal column, why don’t doctors, surgeons and oncologists tell their patients about these RAW foods that give them the best chance at recovery? And I mean permanent remission and recovery. Are these “Western Medicine” practitioners evil, money-grabbing cons or are they just ignorant, mis-educated and unknowing? How could that be? How could you be trained to do surgery or read lab results and not know ONE THING about nutrition? Do some of them know but are not saying because their income

support previous findings that residing in industrialized cities and urban areas could be a primary risk factor for a host of adverse health conditions. According to the review, people living in regions with lush vegetation and open spaces are less likely to suffer depression or obesity than those living in cities. Data also shows that people with easy access to open fields and trees have a 16% lower death rate than those living in urban jungles. Researchers also find that pregnant women who live in areas with more trees and open spaces gave birth to children with much healthier sizes. These
findings suggest that increased opportunity for physical activity and reduced exposure to ambient air pollution may be the reasons behind the positive health effects of living in the countryside. “The evidence is strong and growing that people and communities can only thrive when they have access to nature. We all need nature in our lives, it gives us freedom and helps us live healthily; yet deprived communities are routinely cut off from nature in their surroundings and it is suffocating for their well-being,” says Friends of the Earth Europe campaigner Robbie Blake.

would drop to about 25% of what they make now, using dangerous chemicals to treat a chemical-driven disease? No oncologist in the world suggests medicinal mushrooms, and take a big guess why! (www.canceractive.com) The answer to every one of the questions above is to just listen to the people who DO KNOW about RAW foods and can tell wonderful stories of their own recovery from deadly cancer and why they chose nutrition over chemo, surgery and radiation. Learn from honest souls who share their most personal journeys, through and past the “cons” of the cancerindustrial complex. Consider the fact that even scientists have found a natural cure for cancer, and people TESTIFY in court that it works, even for children with “terminal” cancer: (www.burzynskiclinic.com). Natural News has a few other heart-
warming stories about real people who survived “lethal” cancer and lived to share their stories with the world: Jay Kordich, known as the “father of vegetable juicing,” says raw foods are responsible for overcoming his own bladder cancer. One of his followers, John Kohler, has been on a raw food diet since 1995, primarily enjoying juices. Not only did he survive his spinal meningitis, but he also lost weight and is living life more healthfully than ever.

(www.fooducate.com) One-and-a-half million people every year fight cancer and need to know about RAW foods, and we could end this “search for the cure” that the masses are CONNED into believing is worthwhile. The cure is here! The cure lives in nutrition. Appreciate the fact that... if you don’t “eat” cancer, it doesn’t “eat” you. (http://programs.webseed.com)

Everything is Connected The Illusion of Separation AND The Rhythm of Creation in our Hearts
By M.Tellinger
O
NLY OUT OF UNITY comes infinite diversity and abundance. Everything is connected by the vibrational energy of Creation. Everything comes from the same source of creation. Some call it the Creator, some call it God, others call it the Source or the Great Spirit, and some call it Creation itself. There can be no separation from the creator because we all vibrate with the energy of creation. There is only the illusion of separation from Source. There are many creation stories handed down by ancient civilizations, and yet most of them have one thing in common – SOUND and RESONANCE. The torroidal or torus shape is the primordial shape of sound and magnetic fields as they give rise to physical form. In my presentations and workshops I show how it is always the sound/ voice/word of the creator that brings forth everything in creation – seen and unseen, and how everything has its own Prime Resonance Frequency. Once we comprehend this, it becomes very easy to explain everything in creation - around us and within us - including matter, disease and the illusion of separation. The religions of the world were created as a platform for division and separation, giving people the belief that they are special or chosen. But we all come from the same Source Creation – we are all infinite fractals of the Creator – with all the knowledge of creation within us. No one is better or more special or different. But, just like the trillions of cells in our bodies that all come from the same original cell, we become unique individuals with special and unique talents and skills. Each cell plays a critical part in keeping the body or creation alive – working together in unity – cooperating in harmonic coherence with the cells around them. Even when the cells gang up in specialized clusters of cells like the liver cells, or heart cells, or brain cells, or skin cells, they do not compete with, or overpower the other cells in the body. Any dissonant behaviour by individual cells, creates a situation of dis-ease, or disharmony, and brings the body of creation
Page 19
under stress. But nothing can override the primordial resonance of Creation. And so, in a healthy body, the dissonant cell is normally overcome, or corrected by the healthy resonance around it, or the dissonant cell simply dies, leaving the body healthy and vibrant (vibrating at optimum frequency of creation). But in a body under stress, one single cell of disease or dissonance can infect the whole body of cells by a frequency of incoherence, which often leads to the demise of the main body. One of the primary objectives of the UBUNTU Liberation Movement is to share this knowledge with the people of the world. Only through UNITY can we achieve infinite diversity and abundance. So let us see our communities as extensions of our bodies, and the world as our community. Billions of cells that keep our world alive and vibrating Alex Grey with the prime resonance of creation. Drought From page 3
California’s weather, inventing terms like “atmospheric rivers” to explain away the sudden increase in moisture. In past years, they explained orgone induced rains by citing a small pocket of warm water near Peru called “El Nino” as the reason. Meteorology does not look at the true causes of weather, but rather the effects of the cause, which is energetic. Weather is the result of the orgone (OR) versus deadly orgone radiation (DOR) concentration in the atmosphere, and the negative versus positive ionization. The American Meteorological Society has begun to experiment with negative ionization as a means to promote rainfall, without mention of Wilhelm Reich or orgone energy. Weather modification companies like Ionogenics have successfully increased rainfall using only negatively ionizing energy and none of the heavy metals used in cloud seeding and geoengineering. By reducing positive ionization, or spare electrons caused by our wireless infrastructure (mostly cell phone towers), and by increasing negative ionization, natural rainfall has been restored to California, resulting in rapid replenishing of the lakes and reservoirs. On January 17, 2014, Governor Brown declared a drought state of emergency. This began statewide water use restrictions and a massive fear based campaign of the prospect that the drought could become permanent, and that man made climate change was the cause. National Geographic published an article in 2014 stating that the drought could last 200 years. This was one of many such pieces of journalism based on a model of man made global warming with no grounding in rain science, which is separate from CO2 emissions. By the end of 2014, a remarkable change was underway in California, as by this point the orgonite distribution operations were well underway. On Dec. 12, 2014, the LA Times

post-surgical complications, the study shows. Harvard University researchers also find that people living in urban jungles have a 12% higher death rate than those living in areas with access to green spaces. A review of 110,000 women shows that those who live in urbanized areas are at an increased risk of developing cancer and respiratory conditions. On the other hand, those who live in the greenest areas had a 13% lower rate of cancer-related death, and a 34% lower rate of respiratory disease-related mortality. Another review published in BMC Public Health shows that walking or running in natural green spaces results in reduced anger, fatigue, and depression as well as improved attention levels compared with doing so in a synthetic environment. Having more trees in a city block may help improve health perception in residents, according to an Ontario Health Study. Researchers say this trees lend to people perceiving certain events more positively, which in turn leads to a healthier immune system. Interestingly, positive perception can also lead to an annual personal income increase of $10,000.

reported that 10 trillion gallons of rain had fallen in California in just ten days. Still the drought propaganda continued amidst new rain records into 2015 and 2016. On May 9, 2016, the governor clamped down harder on California, implementing permanent water conservation measures for the state. Then just over a week later, the state eased some of those restrictions because of heavy rains they attributed to El Nino! Because water levels in lakes and reservoirs still remained low, the drought was not yet officially considered over, despite the restoration of rainfall. It took the torrential, historic rains of 2016-2017 to finally refill the reservoirs and make it obvious that there was no longer a water shortage. Earlier this year, the drought was declared to be over in Northern California. By December of 2016, parts of Northern California had received 400% of normal rainfall, and in February 2017 some areas received over 20 inches of rain and 12 feet of snow in one week. When nature is allowed to take its course, it will make up for years of damage in a hurry. One of the last holdouts for government acknowledgement of being out of the drought was Santa Barbara County, where the reservoir, Lake Cachuma, was still low. The lake level rose 25 feet after one major rainstorm in February. The restoration of rainfall caused flooding and damage all over the state, which was not prepared for an end to the drought. Houses slid off of hillsides and cars were engulfed in water on freeways in Los Angeles. Lake Oroville was a great example of the dangers of flooding due to the state not being prepared for this turn of events, resulting in the town having to be evacuated until the overflow from the damaged spillway was contained. Despite two years of a gradual increase in rainfall, the mind-controlled population couldn’t see what was happening, as the media continued to downplay the precipitation. In February of 2017, the state once again saw 10 trillion gallons of water fall in one week’s time. The study also shows that having 11 more trees in a neighborhood helps cut the rates of cardio-metabolic conditions. This is comparable to being 1.4 years younger or a raise in annual personal income of $20,000. “The environment we live in has a big impact on our perception of wellbeing, but also objectively on our health outcomes. We have to take that information into account when conducting urban planning,” says Lyle Palmer, the study’s executive scientific director. The findings were published in the journal Nature. The weather changes corresponded precisely with the periods of time in which DOR sources were neutralized with orgonite across the state. The teardown of the Northwest frequency fence in November of 2016 unleashed a torrent of precipitation in California. This altered weather patterns in the Northwest, causing dramatic snow flurries in places that usually only see rain in the winter, including Portland, where around 200 DOR sources were neutralized in November. The correlation cannot be denied, but mainstream news will never discuss orgone energy and its effect on weather, nor will they ever mention the engineering of our weather by those who wish to control humanity. California is a land transformed. No longer do we have to endure artificial drought and false scarcities of water and food. California feeds the world and produces half of the United States’ organic produce, making it a target for those wishing to control the food supply. The land must be protected, and the means to prevent drought must be made public. This year, deserts are experiencing super blooms of wildflowers. Areas that were once dry and desolate, with trees bowing and cracking under a geoengineered sky, no longer resemble what they once were. A riverbed in Bakersfield, in the farming region of the San Joaquin Valley, once lifeless with barren trees and dusty land, now flows with water and is surrounded by rich green grass. Cumulus clouds hang above the trees, which have grown green leaves again, and ducks float upon the water’s surface, as pedestrians enjoy a stroll along the picturesque river. The Mojave Desert, always brown and
dead, is alive with prairie grass, just as Wilhelm Reich saw during his orgone operations near Tucson, Arizona. The stretch between Los Angeles and San Francisco along Interstate 5, once the most dreaded and depressing drive for road weary Californians, was a splendor of rolling green hills and deep blue skies with natural clouds this March. The state of drought in California has been embedded in our history. It’s not simply a matter of a few years of geoengineering by the likes of Monsanto and its ilk. This drought was just one of the worst on record due to the proliferation of technologies that cause drought. There has always been deadly radiation that inhibits cloud formation and causes pollution to linger. This is a naturally occurring part of the universe, but has been exaggerated in recent years. With this in mind, and knowing that these negative energies can all be neutralized, we are now in a position to eliminate drought and to enjoy the abundance that beautiful California provides. The rest of the world will also enjoy the fruits of California, as our produce has never tasted better! We can re-green the deserts and restore the Earth’s natural life-giving climate, and this has been demonstrated in California from 2014 to 2017, culminating in the victory of the life force energy and humanity over the parasitic forces which have tried, unsuccessfully, to destroy a land so varied and abundant with resources and natural wealth. Diet
From page 10 fructose corn syrup: What started as the basis of civilization has spiraled into a mass-marketed refined sugar binge. “Dietary carbohydrates once essential for the cognitive and social development of Paleolithic humans gradually turned into a metabolic stress factor as a function of their glycemic indices,” Gertsch explains. “Epidemiological evidence points toward a pandemic diet-induced glucose toxicity due to excess sugar intake.” The endocannabinoid system is deeply implicated in this unhealthy worldwide trajectory. Linked to both motivation and reward, CB1 receptor signaling encourages sugar consumption by enhancing neural responses to sweet flavors. It has been shown that chronic CB1 receptor activation in mice causes obesity-related insulin resistance. Aberrant CB1 activity reinforces a metabolically skewed feedback loop: In obese humans, high endocannabinoid levels are found in the liver, pancreas, adipose tissue, and skeletal muscle, where they contribute to insulin resistance, decreased glucose uptake, oxygen depletion, and cardiometabolic distress. “The generation and excess use of
Page 22
sugars could be seen in analogy to the detrimental impact of the first distilled alcohol on humans. The sudden availability of excess sugars in combination with fats in diet may have led to a collision of genes that evolved to cope with high energy demands due to constant physical activity,” says Gertsch. “Excessive consumption of high-energy palatable food without physical activity contributes to obesity.” Which, in turn, leads to metabolic syndrome, heart disease, and other degenerative conditions.
CB2 to the rescue
CB1 receptors and CB2 cannabinoid receptors play different roles with respect to diet and nutrition. In animal studies, CB2 receptor activation generally causes the opposite effects of CB1. Whereas CB1 receptors promote appetite and food consumption, CB2 receptors tend to inhibit food intake. Expressed primarily in immune cells, adipose (fatty) tissue, and the peripheral nervous system, CB2 receptors confer broad anti-inflammatory effects in various disease models. Noting that obesity is a low-grade inflammatory condition, Gertsch discusses the “protective role of CB2 receptors in diet-induced metabolic malignancies.” Preclinical research indicates that CB2 receptor activity
can prevent or ameliorate diabetesassociated peripheral neuropathy and pro-inflammatory obesity. CB2 signaling is also protective against brain damage from strokes, concussions, and neurodegenerative ailments. Gertsch suggests that the contemporary “mismatch between ancient genes and high caloric diets” might be reconciled in part by CB2’s ability to mediate the effects of secondary plant metabolites (terpenes, flavonoids and other polyphenolic compounds) that are found in kitchen spices, leafy greens, and other vegetables. “Dietary secondary metabolites from vegetables and spices are able to enhance the activity of CB2 receptors and may provide adaptive metabolic advantages and counteract inflammation,” Gertsch reports. Beta-caryophyllene (BCP), for example, is a seemingly ubiquitous aromatic terpene present in many spices (black pepper, cloves, rosemary, etc.) and bitter greens, as well as in numerous cannabis varietals. This versatile plant compound conveys significant health benefits by directly activating the CB2 receptor and via other molecular pathways. BCP has been shown to stimulate insulin production and inhibit tumor growth in human cell lines. Mounting evidence suggests that a steady
diet of BCP-rich foods could prevent or mitigate non-alcoholic fatty liver disease through CB2-mediated channels. Eating green leafy vegetables and spices rich in essential oils “may counteract metabolic stress induced by excessive carbohydrate intake,” Gertsch advises.
Healthy fats, healthy people
Several scientific studies have explored the link between the intake of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) and the endocannabinoid system. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), an omega-3 fatty acid, is the principal long chain PUFA found in the human brain. (Omega oils are considered “essential” fatty acids because they can’t be produced by the body in sufficient amounts and therefore must be ingested.) Dietary DHA and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), another long chain PUFA, support neurological function, retinal development, and overall health by up-regulating CB1 receptor gene expression. Preclinical research has shown that administering DHA and E PA prevented glucose intolerance and low-grade inflammation of white adipose tissue in obese mice. The manifold health benefits of omega-3 PUFAs – prominent in oily fish, walnuts, flax and hempseeds, for example – include the prevention of heart disease,

E COME INTO this world a clean slate and over time we are conditioned and programmed with other people’s beliefs, judgments, superstitions and prejudices. By the time we hit our teenage years; these programs have become firmly entrenched in our mind and influence not only our thinking, but also our behaviours and perceptions. Since they are so deeply embedded in us, most people rarely understand how these false premises are affecting them in adulthood. One of the most detrimental beliefs prevalent within our world is that of conditional love. Most of us we grew up being told, “I will love you only if…” Words that were uttered by our parents or authority figures, which implied if we did what we were told we would be loved. What this belief structure did was initiate us into a state of fear. It is a fear that over time has gathered strength, and as adults, keeps us trapped in a pattern of reactionary living. It is a mode of living where in the background of our minds there is a recording that is continually playing the lyrics: ‘you aren’t loved’ or ‘you don’t belong’ or ‘you aren’t good enough’. To further add to the problem, at an early age we were taught that if we do not fit into the prescribed societal model, we are considered failures. It is at this point that we are essentially taught that we cannot rely on our own inner guidance system. In an effort to conform, we gave up our true talents/desires and exchanged

them for an approved career. One that will ensure we shall be good contributors to society. The emphasis on careers is further accentuated with the concept of competition and we were taught early on that life is a power game of manipulating people and situations to get what you want. Love comes with strings. The ends justify the means. Power and ambition are the worthwhile characteristics to cultivate and there is no glory for second place. Coupled with the belief in competition, we have also been indoctrinated into consumption driven behaviours where everything is either consumed, bought or swallowed in an
effort to avoid anxiety, boredom and emptiness. The problem with the formula is one feels only a momentary reprieve and the root cause is never addressed. Our desire to be consumers of products and commodities has meant that we have learned to tie our value and self worth to our possessions. In addition, the success of our economy is not measured by the quality of the products we produce but by the quantity. We have learned to become enamored with things and technical gadgets because it is easier to manipulate or control them then to love another. Everything in our life is tied to our own saleability and we have become a collector and user where our central
experience of life has become: I have, and I use instead of I am. The belief we accepted as a child that love comes with strings has created adults who have built walls around themselves where security lies in conformity, our values come from the marketplace and our leisure time is managed by an amusement industry that creates the desire for pleasure and excitement not joy. The fast ride on the Ducati only brings a momentary high but doesn’t fulfill our basic need to be loved for who we really are. No matter where you are on the age spectrum you have the power to release yourself from childhood or societal programming. You can: n Become conscious of the proprietary feelings that you use to describe your life. Your experiences in life are not possessions. I am does not equal what I have and what I consume. n Instead of asking yourself: “Am I loved?” Ask yourself: “Can I love?” n Move from reacting from your old programs and start responding to the moment. n When something happens, stop and count to ten before you speak. n Silence gives value to your words. Practice silence. The starting point in all change begins with the self. First radiate unconditional love and acceptance for yourself.
