SERVER BREAKDOWN FACTS
unique class system and large plugin list, Survival has become the most popular gametype throughout the Galaxy. Noted for its one-of-a-kind gamestyle, SkyBlock is designed to test individuals on their Minecraft savviness. Beginning with only a small island and limited supplies, players must make the most out of what is given. SkyBlock is, however, a simple-to-learn Super-Earth Galaxy can be broken down into a variety of smaller parts. Consisting of the Hub, Survival, SkyBlock, HungerGames, Creative, and PVP servers, SEG is quite unique. Each individual portion of the Super-Earth Galaxy contains a unique combination of plugins as well as gameplay experience that produce an always exciting and fun atmosphere for community members to enjoy. Though each server can be explained in a much more sophisticated and intricate detail, the following are general summaries of their functions. Upon entering the Galaxy, players arrive at what is known as the Hub. The Hub acts as a gateway between the different servers and is home to the reoccuring event Parkour Monday, which tests players jumping and sprinting skills. Located throughout the Hub are portals, which take users to their desired destination. The original server of the Galaxy, Survival, is a Townybased McMMO server with over fifty towns. Though by nature seeming to be an old-school style server, Survival is very innovative in its setup. By offering a
gametype for both new and experienced users. HungerGames, becoming one of the fastest growing gametypes in the Minecraft community, is a prized gem within the Galaxy. Featuring multiple arenas to wage war in, the HungerGames server offers users a wide range of options to choose from. Not into aimless fighting? Note that HungerGames has a leaderboard that features top combatants. The Creative portion of the Galaxy is an exclusive-to-build server for those that donate to the community. Though only Donators may build on their plots in this glorified land, all community members are able to watch and explore. Donating maintains the server and allows for upgrades; this is simply a thank you for the support. Did I mention Creative mode? PVP is one of the primary aspects of Minecraft and Super-Earth is called home by a large number of fanatical factions. Consisting of McMMO, Factions, and other pvp oriented plugins, the PVP server offers users a lag-free environment to fight at their leisure.

In addition to the current servers available, there are numerous concepts being tossed around within the community about future gametypes. Some of these ideas include Zombies, Walls, Creative, and so many more. Make sure to stay tuned on Twitter and the Forum to learn all you can about the future of Super-Earth Galaxy as it unfolds.
Though users are invited to join the town, it is required that players move to other towns or nations within two weeks of joining the server to allow room for new community members.In addition to being the default town currently, Pandora is also home of the Super-Earth spawn maze, which lists numerous pieces of vital information to utilize all of the tools offered by Super-Earth. This maze is mostly a path, but is of great importance to understanding all of the core plugins and policies that make up the server. PAWN is the starting location for all users of the server. Though some servers may boast remarkable builds and structures as their spawns, Super-Earth feels that a simple and instructive location serves a much more effective purpose in terms of immersing users into the community.

STAFF Moderation Team
The Moderation Team performing their daily duties of community watch and chat moderation.
The Department of Staff is one of the core organizations within the server community. Consisting of over twenty staff members, the Department is able to effectively organize and enforce server policy as well as foster a stable, friendly Minecraft Multiplayer environment. But what exactly does the department do and how does it operate?
In addition to the two head administrators, the department is also assisted by two efficient and veteran community members. They consist of Chris7762 and CIassified, both SMods of Super-Earth. Working on tasks such as managing staff, LWC removal requests, and petition responses, the SMods enable the server to run smoothly.
The Department is currently led by NitaVictory and Diamondgirl1. Having had over a year of experience each, both heads are well versed in Multiplayer functions and the list of rules and policies for Super-Earth. This is an important aspect of the Department as it allows staff members to continually grow and improve their individual moderator skills. In addition to leading the Department, NitaVictory is the co-owner of the community and Diamondgirl1 is involved heavily in Donator Plot Creations and other active administrator duties.
But what about the rest of the department? Currently, there are over a dozen Helpers and Moderators actively on duty within the community. Such names as MommyHat, heathn26, and Bendurtop, all make up the moderation team and family. Each Helper and Moderator is assigned the task of monitoring chat, answering questions and queries, moderating the variety of Super-Earth external topics such as the Minecraftforum or Voting Sites, or engaging actively with players to find bugs and rising issues. In a nutshell, the Helpers and Moderators are the body of the Department.

HungerGames HungerGames Being one of the new servers of Super-Earth Galaxy, HungerGames features a variety of arenas with multiple themes and play styles. Though starting off slowly here on the server community, HungerGames is definitely a force to be reckoned with after its high popularity during the first ever Hunger Games tournament on the Super-Earth Galaxy. But what awaits the HungerGames server? There are plans to add a variety of other arenas to the possibilities currently offered. Some of these ideas include smaller player count arenas with around approx. 4 to 10 people only being needed to fill the game, parkour themed arenas for a race to the finish, and even an underwater battle royale arena. In truth, the opportunities offered by HungerGames for a unique and creative experience

are endless and not even the sky is the limit. In addition to the in-game experience offered by HungerGames, an online leaderboard is also provided to the community to enable highscores that feature the top survivors. Featuring rankings based on factors such as most wins, most play time, and best Kill to Death ratio, all types of players will be featured based on their specific play style. The leaderboard is also a way for community members to solidify their claims at being the best and provide a sense of competitiveness to the objective gametype. Which position will you hold? The new spawn lobby for the HungerGames server, like many other SE:G servers, has been given a makeover to better suit the community
as a whole. Featuring water effects, natural beauty, and organization, the new spawn enables community members to effectively find and utilize all that HungerGames has to offer. Parkour has also been added to the spawn and is located directly to the side of the portal. In addition to testing your jumping skills and timing abilities, the Wall of Honor is also viewable at the entrance to Parkour and features past tournament winners. The first ever Hunger Games tournament took place on May 25th, 2013 and consisted of nearly 40 competitors. Taking place primarily on the Valley of the Admins arena, competitors took to the desert to scavenge for resources and come out on top as the last remaining team of two. With roughly 16 active teams, four preliminary matches were required to determine the four strongest teams. Of those four teams, only one would come out as the winner of the HungerGames team tournament. After a grueling battle, the victory went to the team of heathn26 and troyboy50. Celebration and festivities were held in their honor as well as the dispersement of the prize of 8000z and a donation package of $200 to be split between the two competitors. Congratulations once again. In addition to the team tournament, a Battle Royale was held shortly after the winning team was decided. Here, over twenty community members that competed in the tournament were pitted against one another once more for the opportunity of winning the Community Cup. The battle was harsh and the competition was anything but easy to overcome, but one was able to beat the odds. Builderboy53, a veteran of the Super-Earth community, successfully defeated all of his opponents in a spectacular fashion and was crowned Community Cup winner. Having become popular from the movie and the Youtube publicity thrust upon it, Hunger Games has turned into a Minecraft spectacle that captures community attention and produces a unique, exciting gameplay for all players to take part in. With the next movie around the corner, there is no telling how the revival of publicity will affect the interest in HungerGames acoss Minecraft servers.
But one thing is certain: Super-Earth Galaxy will continue to host and maintain its HungerGames availability for all Minecraft players to enjoy. Happy Minecrafting and happy Surviving. May the odds be ever in your favor.

The Development team maintains the servers and allows them to grow and expand by incorporating and optimizing new plugins and scripts. By forging a strong development backing, Super-Earth is able to become more efficient as a server and be able to offer more as a community.
One of the largest updates done so far has been the transfer from a single, Towny server to a multi-server featuring Towny, HungerGames, Skyblock and more. Though this may sound like an enormous task, the Development team took it on and produced something amazing. Currently on the to-do list for the Development team is mostly cleaning up old plugins and evaluating their performance, fixing current bugs and glitches within the multiple servers, and preparing for the next Minecraft update (1.6). Provided on the next page is a list of exactly what is coming up via Development.

1.6 Update There is a lot of stuff packed into this Minecraft update including new blocks, new mobs, and new functions. So, let’s get started. Some of the general updates involved in this particular version of Minecraft includes an editable attribute system, a resource pack system, fixes and additions to the Minecraft launcher, and minor changes to the texture capability of Minecraft. A change in the way

Donation Drive: Giving back Community
Donations are a core aspect of the community and help both players and the server. By donating, users aid in covering the monthly server costs and maintenance as well as provide for future upgrades and advances. But what does donating do? Donating enables users to utilize special abilities such as magic carpet, jumpto, and even WorldEdit at the highest levels. In addition to perks, a colored name is also provided that shows dedication to the server as well as make you stand out among all the community members. So why not donate and get these awesome features today? Well, times are tough and not everyone is able to donate money due to their financial situations. Luckily, a few community members are willing to give a helping hand. Recently, CIassified started an initiative called “SE: Galaxy Donation Drive.� Focused on providing new users with donation packages through the generous donation of other community members, this new concept is enabling white names to become donators for nothing more than being active and kind. To this date, 15 registered donations have gone through the group and numerous more are in the works. But who is actually donating the money? a_l_r has teamed up with CIassified
to provide the donations. Having been a major donation seller for quite some time, a_l_r has donated thousands of dollars to the server all in order to continually advance the community as a whole. When deciding to hop on board with the Donation Drive, a_l_r set his price at 2000z per $25 donation, fairly low for the usual fee. This low cost allows the drive to help more new users by requiring less zenny in order to obtain the donations needed. On behalf of the entire server community and administration, thank you to all who have taken part in this initiative. A special thank you to CIassified and a_l_r for maintaining and executing such a generous group. This kind of generosity is not common, so keep that in mind when choosing your Minecraft community.

My most memorable moment is when I killed Ljjokay to obtain a piece of sponge. He was just standing there near my house in a pvp zone and I took the opportunity to kill him. To this day, I still hold the only legally and legitimately obtained sponge on Super-Earth!

Nickweb Back in April I threw a party in my town, Carpathia, for everyone on the server. It was hosted in a giant cake with lots of cake for everyone to eat. We had music and party lights even! A load of people came including staff and some even gave me some gifts. I then got Dannypent and Dakumah to sing Happy Birthday to me on ventrilo, which was awesome. We then went to Eden for a concluding fireworks display. All this was completely spontaneous and proved what a great community this server is!

AD Nickweb, the concept designer and lead animator of the Chronicles of Super-Earth video series, was the brains behind the operations of this animation. Originally pitching the idea to dannypent only a month ago, Nick took on the task of producing a high quality and original animation that not only captivates its viewers, but tells a story. Nick has stated that he has big plans for the future of the series, and can not wait to release episode two real soon. Congratulations nickweb on an amazing video and best of luck with the continuation of the series.
Dannypent, the director of Public Relations, stated that the Chronicles of Super-Earth series will be one of the biggest projects to hit Super-Earth since the community began.
