DANCE FOR THE VERY YOUNG Three new performances for small children
LULLA dybwikdans 0 – 18 months
Lulla presents a world of song, movement and music, and shows us lullabies in new and traditional forms. Lulla is a musical encounter that is open to participation from the audience, on their own terms. Lulla does not tell a precise story; instead, it uses nursery rhymes to invite physical and musical interaction with the audience, and makes presence, listening and play vital elements in the encounter. dybwikdans has toured nationally and internationally. The company wants its productions to form close encounters between the performers and audience, and interaction and participation are key elements in their productions. Lulla premiered in October 2017.

SANS OG SAMLING Becker/Fiksdal/Langgård 0 – 3 years
Sans og Samling takes inspiration from young children’s open state of being in the world. Young children are still in a phase of life where nothing has found its final form, and where fantasy and reality are still floating entities. The audience meet a universe that celebrates this state of being. The surreal becomes logical, the absurd makes perfect sense, up is down, and the tiny turns out to be huge. It is a performance, an experience, a gathering of sensoric impressions, taking place within an installation, and the children participate in this fantastical universe. Inspired by the vivid colors and analog aesthetics of the 1970s, Sans og Samling becomes an immersive universe where the playfulness, fantasy and absurdities are united.

WE ARE SYMPHONY Oslo Koreografiske 0 – 3 years
Oslo Koreografiske is a collective of artists that work choreographically with dance, sound, light, set and the audience itself. In We are Symphony a puppeteer is steering an installation of illuminated rings moving meters above the audience. In swiping movements it interacts with the two dancers – to a quite untraditional soundtrack for the age group. The audience is invited into a visual landscape where the room changes. Costumes are illuminated from within and create an intising effect on the reflecting scenography. The audience can experience the performance from different perspectives and can potentially influence what happens in the piece. It is an open and mindbending performance that work for the very young and their adults.
