We are now interacting with over 5,500 Twitter followers, getting involved with competitions and giveaways on a daily basis! School Letters Campaign

“TeenVGN was named ‘UK’s hottest new Vegan group’ by Sponsors VegFestUK this June...” there are people out there who believe in us enough to invest in our community! After all, these young people are our only hope for a truly compassionate future! TeenVGN was named the “UK’s hottest new Vegan group” by Sponsors VegFestUK this June and we are so excited to be attending our second Vegfest in London Olympia on October 5th & 6th with a stall and a workshop!

Meet Laura! Hello! I’m Laura, co-founder of TeenVGN! I decided to create TeenVGN one day whilst sitting at home wondering why there wasn’t a place specifically for younger Vegetarians and Vegans! I started experimenting with a free website and Voila! TeenVGN was born! I am so overwhelmed with the unending support that we have had for TeenVGN so far! People actually believe in us and are assured that this is a great community! And I agree! It’s about time there was a place for these amazing young compassionate people! I went Vegan in October 2011 after baking Vegan cupcakes with a friend, no interesting story really, just a decision made and never looked back! 

Fuelled by Compassion Campaign In June we launched our Fuelled by Compassion campaign! Our aim is to build confidence in young people to speak out about what Compassion means and how it is right at the core of a Vegetarian/Vegan lifestyle! We have had some great responses from people asking about our wristbands. You can get yours in our webstore. TeenVGN On Location!

This July we visited a Sanctuary and made a video to highlight the importance of adopting, spaying and neutering animals! You can find our video on our new Video Channel at www.teenvgn.com/apps/videos.

RECIPE – Banoffee Milkshake Ingredients: 2 Bananas 500ml of Vegan Milk 2 tablespoons of Sugar 2 handfuls of Ice 3 big scoops of Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream 3-4 tablespoons of Sweetbird Toffee Syrup Chop the Bananas & put them in a blender with the Vegan Milk, Sugar, Ice, Ice Cream and Syrup. Put the lid on the blender. Whizz away! Pour into a glass & pop in a straw! Enjoy!
