Danvers Harbor is thriving with seasonal activity with more than 900 vessels berthed in one of five marinas or on 125 moorings. Danvers’ naturally
Danvers Waterfront
protected harbor is ideal for boating, kayaking and paddle boarding enthusiasts, offering five tidal rivers and tributaries for exploration and relaxation. More than 2,000 vessels launch annually from Pope’s Landing boat launch where boaters are provided with dock space, a picnic area, plenty of parking and facilities. Boaters can launch their vessel for as little as $5.00. Berth space in Danvers is still very much in high demand with a waiting list for moorings as well as slips at the Town’s public marina. The Crane River Marina, which is owned and managed by the town, offers slips for 68 vessels up to 25’ in length. Situated along the banks of the John George Park, the marina provides an affordable alternative for boaters with smaller vessels.
