Meet the Goforth Family
Embracing the westside lifestyle; family,
community, neighbors and fun!By Anne Angstenberger, Resident since 2006 Photos provided by the Goforth Family
Like many East Bay natives, coming home during the holiday breaks meant getting together with hometown friends. Jocey was home from San Diego State and making the most out of her winter break enjoying a dinner out with her childhood friend. Todd, a few years older, happened to also be there with a classmate Jocey had attended high school with. The two were introduced that evening and they immediately felt a connection. Even though Jocey had to fly back to San Diego to finish up her degree, the two kept in touch texting each other funny memes (before they were called memes!). As soon as she graduated, Jocey moved back home to Walnut Creek and within a few days, Todd made it official. Eight years after meeting, Jocey and Todd were married at The Landing Resort in South Lake Tahoe and began their happily ever after together.
Jocey and Todd grew up just two miles from one another in the Olympic/Tice Valley area of Walnut Creek, although they never crossed paths (that they knew of!) until that lucky December night. After graduating from Acalanes High School, Jocey attended Chico State for two years before transferring to SDSU to finish her degree in Child and Family Development. Living in Pacific Beach and experiencing the beach life of sunny San Diego is a fond memory for Jocey, but the Bay Area was calling her back home. After moving home, she took a teacher’s assistant position in Orinda for half a semester before beginning her teaching credential from St. Mary’s College in Moraga. She went on to teach elementary school at Sleepy Hollow School in Orinda for twelve years. After moving to Danville, Jocey has continued her teaching profession and has been teaching TK at Montair Elementary for the past three years. It’s no secret that teaching is an absolute passion of hers. She has even expanded into running educational camps during school breaks. With a mix of science, art, baking, and a whole lot of learning through play, she creates the most fun and memorable mornings for little learners. You can learn more about her camps at DanvilleDiscoveryCamp.com. It’s no secret that for Jocey, “There is no other job in the world that I would rather have.”
After graduating from Las Lomas High School, Todd attended paramedic school and worked for over a decade as a paramedic in both Contra Costa and San Francisco counties. Todd now
works as a Firefighter with the San Francisco Fire Department and “loves the fast pace and unique challenges that come with working in the big city.” Todd believes he truly works beside “the best men and women” he’s ever met! Although he is extremely busy working as a firefighter, Todd also has a passion for Real Estate. Having a second full time job, Todd also works for Keller William Realty in Danville. He is quick to point out that even though he has two polar opposite work environments, “both involve putting out fires in one way or another!”
A house of little boys fills the Goforths with energy and joy. Tanner (5 ½) is the oldest son and is lucky enough to be in Jocey’s TK class at Montair Elementary. When he is not playing T-ball, basketball, or Jiu Jitsu, you will definitely find him swimming at Del Amigo. Coach Julio and Coach Dom have become like family to the Goforth kiddos… letting little brother Declan “Decky” hang on their backs while they are coaching his big brother and the rest of the team. “Go Del!” Declan is just as active as his big brother but also loves building with magna tiles and Ninja Turtles. Baby Beau is the happiest little 10 month old. He is all smiles and loves laughing and watching his older brothers wrestle each other. Both Jocey and Todd love being active with their three boys; including going on bike rides, flying drones, and hitting the batting cages. While Todd is quite the home chef, preparing gourmet meals
for the family, Jocey is constantly finding new fun places to explore with the boys.
The family has also spent some wonderful memories traveling to Europe; Amsterdam, Prague, Belgium and Germany. One of their most favorite getaways is a tropical vacation in Hawaii since all their boys are “like fish in water” and absolutely love the beach. When not enjoying traveling adventures together, at home in Danville is where the Goforths can be found making daily memories. We love all of Danville, but the Westside was particularly a special place to us. We just loved the small neighborhoods walking distance from downtown and the Iron Horse Trail.
Jocey and Todd love their home in the neighborhood close to the Livery, where they have lived for the past three years. They have met the most wonderful neighbors and love being able to walk to school and downtown daily. The Danville community has given them a sense of belonging, community and a purposeful path to creating meaningful friendships for years to come….hopefully “adding another little one” to the Goforth clan in the future! They feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community and can’t wait to meet as many neighbors as possible. Be sure to say hello when you see this sweet family out and about on the westside!

Small Investments That Make a Big Difference in Your Home
By Lisa Hopkins-Cochran, Realtor® at CompassWhenmost homeowners consider remodeling, the first things that come to mind are kitchens, bathrooms and floors. These are the biggest projects that generally give a home a current look. They also come with a very large price tag and a long commitment to disruption in your home. In this article, I’d like to explore some other ideas that will make your home stand out, without spending as much time or money.
One of my favorite home improvement projects (especially if the front of your home and garage face the street) is a new front door and garage door. If the exterior of your home isn’t all that exciting, this is a great opportunity to spend a little bit more, to choose doors that make a statement and set your home apart. The same goes for exterior lighting on your house. Rather than looking for the most sensible, lowest cost lights with a current look, consider looking at the lights that are in a different price bracket but have so much style. Your project might cost a thousand or two more, but the end result will pay off.
Let’s follow the same train of thought, with respect to windows. Most of the time, when people decide to get new windows, they are looking for replacement windows that fit the openings where the current windows are. If your budget allows, I highly recommend picking at least one wall where you invest in more than just new windows. Instead, think of how much more dramatic and appealing the room might be with a much larger window, or perhaps the addition of extra windows. Not many people make these changes. However, the results can be stunning. I’ve often shown homes to buyers, where window improvements have been made, and the buyer is absolutely smitten with the house, but they don’t know why exactly. It’s the windows! Even the most basic house can suddenly feel extra special, with custom windows.
We’ve already talked about the front door; now let’s go inside. One of the fastest ways to refresh a “dated” home is to replace the interior doors with new ones. You’ll want to choose a very current look and consistent hardware, throughout the home. To get the most out of this improvement, it’s best to use the same style of door everywhere in the house. If new doors are out of your budget, take a look at your
existing doors. Does the hardware match from door to door, or do you have an odd assortment of knobs and levers, in multiple colors? A fresh set of stylish, matching door hardware is well worth the investment.
If a full kitchen or bathroom remodel is out of budget, perhaps it’s time to consider simple updates to light fixtures, faucets & cabinet hardware. You’ll be amazed by what a big difference these small changes can make. Having old cabinets professionally painted can make an incredible difference, too, with a much smaller investment than replacement.
Whether you’re considering minor improvements, or a full remodel, consider spending a little extra to consult with an interior designer. This is a step that very few people take, however, the difference in the end result can be striking. Your designer can quickly make helpful suggestions, guide you towards appropriate color choices, sizing, furniture selection/placement and more. They are a wealth of information and experience…and they’ll let you know if one of your ideas might be a mistake. If you think about it, most homes that are sold in our local market involve the use of a stager (many of whom are interior designers), in order to create the best possible look and presentation of the home.
Every home is unique. If the thought of evaluating your options has you feeling overwhelmed, please feel free to reach out to me at 925964-5010 or via email at Lisa.Hopkins@Compass.com for a custom analysis of your options. Even if you’re not planning to move, I’m happy to help by providing you with relevant data, enabling you to make a well informed decision. It’s never too early to start planning for success.
Lisa’s consultative and solutions based approach to real estate has been impressing her clients for 33 years. Lisa is an East Bay native and longtime Danville resident, where she’s been actively involved in the community while raising her two children.

Mustang Soccer is proud to announce the official launch of our new Affiliation & License Agreement Program, with the first club being Mt. Diablo Mustang Soccer. This new club aims to provide a pathway for talented young athletes in the Mt. Diablo area, to develop their skills and compete at a high level while maintaining strong connections to local AYSO regions and recreational soccer programs.
Mustang Soccer Affiliation & License Agreement Program:
Mustang Soccer Board of Directors President, Ricardo Martinez, is excited about the new program and the first affiliate. “This is a momentous day in the history of Mustang Soccer Club. Our ability to create an Affiliation & License Agreement Program and expand the Mustang brand with such a prominent club in the East Bay was extremely hard to ignore. Both clubs will benefit from this arrangement with our ability to share best practices, cooperate on soccer education and training development, create an opportunity for recreational program interplay, and a continued focus on creating a fun community environment for our players. We look forward to a long-lasting relationship.”
Denis McCarthy, Club Advisor to Mt. Diablo Mustang Soccer is looking forward to the partnership. “AYSO is pleased to enter into this agreement with Mustang Soccer because of the highest quality that the Mustang brand represents and has represented to the soccer community in the Bay Area for the last 50 years. The alignment and value system that Mustang has created from its entry-level to the highest levels of club soccer while focusing on fostering a love for the game is our promise to the players that will join our club level program. These values align closely with AYSO’s vision statement to Provide World Class Soccer Programs That Enrich Children’s Lives. We are confident that the value that will be available to the players in Mount Diablo Mustang Soccer will only serve to strengthen the soccer community in the Diablo Valley.“
Building a Strong Partnership and Opportunities:
“Mustang Soccer is fortunate to have a partner in both Mt. Diablo Mustang Soccer and AYSO Area 2C as we embark on this new affiliation. The alignment of values of both organizations will assist in growing the Mustang brand while developing more players in the Northern California region. We are excited to expand our influence in partnership with both organizations,” says Fred Wilson, Executive Director of Mustang Soccer.
Molly McCabe, Commissioner at Mt. Diablo Mustang Soccer shares the same enthusiasm. “We are excited to partner with Mustang Soccer as we launch a new competitive soccer program serving the Diablo Valley through AYSO Area 2C. Mt. Diablo Mustang Soccer will provide a positive and engaging environment where players constantly learn and improve their skills, regardless of their ultimate goals.”
Mustang Soccer recognizes the importance of both recreational and competitive soccer and providing a player development pathway for all players is a key factor in instilling a love for the game. The Affiliation & License Agreement will commence with the Competitive Program for the 2024-2025 season as Mt. Diablo Mustang Soccer. The Recreation Program from each of the AYSO Area 2C Regions will begin to interplay with Mustang Soccer Recreational Program teams in the Fall of 2024.
Commitment to Community:
Mustang Soccer is delighted about all the benefits the affiliation will bring.
• Nike will provide gear for all competitive coaches of the new affiliate organization as a part of the Mustang Soccer Premier Club contract
• The cost of the competitive Nike kits will be more affordable than previous vendors for the new affiliate
• Sharing of best practices between the two organizations
• Opportunity for interplay between recreational programs and age groups in areas where there are limited teams, ensuring a more robust schedule
• Offering a pathway to higher-level, competitive soccer
About Mustang Soccer:
We are a community-based soccer club for all ages from 4 to 19 years, and with programs spanning Recreational to the most Competitive levels. We expect soccer to be fun, challenging, and safe for all participants from our community. The Mustang Soccer League was established and founded in 1972. The purpose was then, and remains the same today, to provide children positive and safe soccer opportunities. We have grown significantly since 1972 and now provide multiple levels of programs and activities that promote the health and well-being of all players, parents, coaches, and referees, creating lifelong habits for all members of the community. Mustang Soccer currently serves the Tri-Valley area, including citizens of the Town of Danville, Diablo, Alamo, the Blackhawk area, and a small southern slice of Walnut Creek, consistent with the San Ramon Valley School District boundaries. We are excited to expand into the Mt. Diablo area.
Danville Oaks News
By Cam Younger, Danville Oaks RugbyRugby, the predecessor of American football, is indeed experiencing a surge in popularity across the United States. Locally, the Danville Oaks Rugby Club has played a significant role in fostering this growth since its establishment in 2006. With multiple teams for both boys and girls, covering age groups from U8 through U19, the Oaks have become a cornerstone of the sport in their community.
One recent success story is the 2024 Oaks Boys Middle School Team. The team, made up of 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys, went undefeated in Rugby NorCal league play this year. The boys capped the season off by winning the Rugby NorCal Championship Tournament on March 16, 2024. On that memorable day, the Oaks secured a hard-fought victory over Lamorinda from Orinda with a narrow scoreline of 7-5. The crucial try was scored by Josh O’Connor, showcasing his skill and determination on the field. Jack Younger’s accurate kicking prowess came into play as he successfully converted, adding vital points to secure the win for the team. In the next match against Motherlode from Cameron Park, the Oaks scored two tries by Giovanni Jimenez and Brendan Baltzer, and held on for the victory, 10-0. In their previous matchup against Sac Pal from Sacramento, the Oaks dominated the field, scoring early and frequently. With an impressive tally of four tries and two conversions, they secured a commanding lead of 24-5, cementing their place in the Championship against Granite Bay from Folsom, CA.
In the Final showdown, the Oaks continued their momentum, swiftly putting points on the board. Nick Donnelly’s determined effort resulted in the first try of the match, boosting the team’s morale. Captain Jack Younger once again demonstrated his reliability by successfully converting, extending the Oaks’ lead to 7-0. Granite Bay worked away patiently, and finally scored in the right corner of the try zone. In a dramatic turn of events, the kicker from Granite Bay faced a challenging conversion attempt. With precision and determination, the ball was struck, grazing the crossbar before miraculously sliding over, resulting in a successful conversion. This clutch play leveled the match at 7-7, setting the stage for a thrilling conclusion. In these decisive moments, the determination and skill of each player were put to the ultimate test, creating a gripping conclusion to an already exhilarating contest.
As the final moments of the match ticked away, Granite Bay faced the daunting task of mounting a counterattack while the Oaks remained steadfast in their determination to secure victory. The Oaks defense repelled wave after wave of their attack. Under the pressure exerted by the Oaks, Granite Bay found themselves committing an untimely penalty, adding to the tension of the moment. This pivotal penalty set the stage for a crucial opportunity, as it positioned the Oaks for a penalty kick within Granite Bay’s territory. With the championship on the line, the outcome of this kick would play a significant role in determining the ultimate victor. Jack Younger booted the kick over the crossbar as time expired and the Oaks had won the Rugby NorCal Championship, 10-7.
It was a true team effort all year by all the boys on the squad pushing each other to reach this goal. The Oaks team exemplifies the essence of camaraderie and unity, functioning as a close-knit group akin to a band of brothers. Their shared experiences, triumphs, and challenges on the rugby field have forged bonds that will endure long beyond their championship victory. The memories they have created together, and the achievement they have accomplished as a team, will forever be etched in their hearts and minds, serving as a testament to the strength of their collective spirit and dedication to each other.
Pathway to Cosmetic Surgery: Considerations and Recommendations
By Brette Julian, Patient CoordinatorHello! My name is Brette Julian, and with nearly two decades of experience, I’ve been dedicated to supporting patients as a Patient Coordinator at Blackhawk Plastic Surgery & MedSpa. I’ve consulted with thousands of patients and fully understand that the decision to undergo a surgical procedure can be a big deal—it’s not just about enhancing appearance but also about nurturing self-assurance, safely and effectively.
One of the most important steps in this aesthetic journey is to understand what your end goal is, and then to meet with a very experienced and board-certified plastic surgeon. Since joining our practice, I’ve had the honor and pleasure to work with the esteemed Dr. Stephen Ronan MD FACS, the founder of Blackhawk Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Ronan’s accolades speak for themselves—he’s consistently recognized as one of America’s Top Plastic Surgeons by the nation’s leading providers of information on doctors. He was also voted as “Best in The Bay” and one of the nation’s Top Hair Restoration Surgeons in America! His commitment to excellence is evident in the thousands of successful procedures performed annually at our fully accredited Blackhawk Surgery Center.
Okay… Yes, it’s true—I may be a bit biased since I’m part of the team. However, Dr. Ronan is the very reason I sought out a position here initially. He’s also the surgeon I’ve chosen for the few cosmetic procedures I’ve undergone over the years. Each time, I’ve been thrilled with the natural-looking results that have withstood the test of time. But enough about me.
Choosing the right surgical facility is very important. Consider accreditation from reputable organizations like the AAAASF. Private surgery centers, such as ours, offer distinct advantages, including a dedicated staff familiar with the surgeon’s techniques, leading to consistently superior outcomes. Anesthesia management is another crucial aspect. Discuss the approach thoroughly with your surgeon and ensure the presence of certified anesthesiologists to oversee your care.
Ultimately, it’s essential to trust and feel comfortable with your surgeon and their team. While a surgeon doesn’t have to be your best friend, you should have a good feeling about them and their practice. Take the time to ask questions, get to know the staff, and ensure that you and your surgeon are aligned between your goals and expectations.
If you’re ready to schedule a personalized consultation, feel free to reach out to me at 925-736-5757. Finding the Perfect Present: Mother’s Day Gifts for Loved Ones with Alzheimer’s
By Eunice O’Farrell, Executive Director, Carefield PleasantonMother’s Day is a time to celebrate the special women in our lives. If your grandmother, mother or mother-figure in your life is affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia, choosing the right gift can feel trickier. The key is to focus on gifts that engage the senses, spark positive memories and bring comfort. Here are some gift ideas to make Mother’s Day special:
Music Player with Big Buttons: Look for a radio or music player with large, easy-to-use controls. Preload it with her favorite songs or calming music. An extra plus if clip to a purse, wheelchair or walker.
Aromatherapy Diffuser: Soothing scents like lavender or chamomile can promote relaxation and evoke positive memories. Placing the diffuser in her room can help with promoting better sleep and a more relaxing nighttime routine.
Weighted Blanket: Gentle pressure can provide a sense of security and comfort as well as providing warmth. A weighted blanket can also be helpful for long car rides or relaxing on the couch.
Digital Photo Frame: Load it with current and past pictures of family, the grandkids, pets and fond memories. Long-distance family members can also load their most recent photos remotely to keep mom up to date on the latest.
Talking Photo Album: This high-tech twist on the photo album allows you to record messages for each picture, reminding Mom of the happy memories captured.
Personalized Comfort Items: A soft robe embroidered with her name, a Snuggie, socks or a scarf in her favorite color can be comforting and familiar.
Remember, the best gifts are often the simplest. Spending quality time with your loved one, reminiscing about happy memories, or simply holding her hand can be the most meaningful way to show you care.

New Executive Chef with Michelin Credential
Joins Plant Forward Blossom & Root
By Joan Simon, Full Plate Restaurant ConsultingBlossom & Root in the heart of downtown Danville has upped its culinary game with the hiring of former Lazy Bear co-chef Chris Johnson as its new Executive Chef. A 20- year veteran of the Bay Area’s dining scene, Chef Johnson brings a cutting-edge culinary sensibility to the casually chic, plant-based eatery sure to make it both a destination and a community favorite for indoor and outdoor dining whether you are a vegan, vegetarian, or omnivore.
Chef Johnson’s resume reads like a greatest hits list of Bay Area dining from Senior Sous at the legendary 3 Michelin starred Coi to Executive Chef at Haven in Oakland (which earned a loyal East Bay following for his high-level comfort food) to a five-year stint at the groundbreaking Lazy Bear in San Francisco where his team garnered 2 Michelin stars. “The challenge of creating a delicious plant-based menu totally dovetails with my long-time commitment to building strong relationships with local farmers,” explained the Tracy resident. “ I couldn’t be more excited to work in my own backyard.”
Dishes change micro-seasonally at lunch and dinner; bolstered by Chef’s pantry of fermented and preserved produce. In addition to adding inspired twists to Blossom & Root’s most popular dishes, Johnson has recently introduced Crispy Rice & Mushroom Lettuce Cups with fermented shiitake, shallot, lime, fried garlic, peanut; a ‘Crab Cake’ Sandwich featuring Fungi Farm mushrooms, old bay
aioli, pickles & onion; Avocado & Citrus Salad with marinated beets, charred avocado, blood orange and marcona almonds and a Gigante Beans & Greens shareable starter utilizing kale, grilled broccolini, and green garlic. Sandwiches - including the much sought after B&R Smash Burger made with chickpeas, black beans, shiitake, housemade tomato aioli, sliced ‘cheese’, maple smoked mustard and house pickles - are served with a choice of side salad. The restaurant has also expanded takeout & delivery, with a continuing emphasis on gluten free, soy free and nut free options. Early Cancer Detection and Prevention: How your Dentist can help!
By Dr. Cynthia E. Stephenson, DDSEarly Detection can be lifesaving!
650,000 people are diagnosed with oral, head, and neck cancers each year, resulting in 330,000 deaths. Early detection, however, significantly improves survival rates.
Dentists are trained to do a thorough oral cancer screening EVERY time you sit down in the chair, whether it is for cleanings, fillings, or simply whitening. We are trained to examine your mouth first thing.
Veloscope- a pain free, quick, no cost tool. A blue light stimulates fluorescence identifying cellular changes before they are visible to the naked eye.
Toluidine Blue swabs blue stain that binds with tissues that have cellular changes including mucosal dysplasia or pre-malignant lesions. This helps the dental professional target regions for further evaluation.
CDX brush biopsy is a non-invasive entry point to rule out serious cellular changes. It is simply a brush that picks up tiny amounts of cells off the surface. This is sent in to a professional lab for evaluation.
Excisional biopsy the dentist can perform by taking sample of the tissue and partnering locally with UCSF or UOP Pathology department for histologic evaluation.
If there is any further reason for concern, there are many competent Oral Surgeons locally and uniquely in this area; we are lucky to have Stanford and UCSF Oral Medicine departments.
Dentists can play a central role in wellness. Many people see their dentist more often than any other health professional. We can take the time to discuss wellness practices, exercise, vitamin education, healthy oral practices, and of course- diet. Food is medicine and forms a lifestyle that enhances immune-robustness and prevents all types of ailments and diseases.
Communication, partnership, and education with your Dentist can have a huge impact on cancer and other disease prevention. This can reduce fear and misinformation, leading to better support for individuals affected by oral cancer and their caregivers.

Judy’s Pecan Bars
By Stephanie Seaberg, Resident since 2010Irecently came across the most fabulous dessert that I had to share with you all. I’ve been to my share of parties where the typical dessert routine consists of big slices of pie or cake being passed around. Have you ever walked up to the person cutting it and said ‘I just want a sliver’. A whole slice is too much, but you still want a taste of it. Well, my friend Judy solved that problem for everyone and needless to say, I was very impressed. She presented a beautiful tray of bite-size pecan pie squares, surrounding a bowl of hand spun whipped cream for dipping. It was all the joy of pie à la mode without all the fuss of scooping ice cream. No plates are necessary and you could eat as little or as much as you wanted one bite at a time. I definitely made several trips to the dessert table to devour these little squares of bliss. And they taste even better if you make them the day before. Keep this cute little recipe in your back pocket for your next potluck or party.
Time: 1 Hour
Makes: 16-20 bites
You will need
For the bar filling:
• 1 rolled store-bought pie crust (Pillsbury works) 3 TBS unsalted butter, melted
• 3/4 C. light corn syrup
• 3/4 C. dark brown sugar
• 3 large eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1 tsp. kosher salt
• 1 1/2 C. pecan halves
For the whipped cream dip:
• 1 C. whipping cream
• 2 TBS instant vanilla Jell-O pudding mix
• 3 TBS powdered sugar
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 1 tsp. white rum (optional)
Putting it together;
Preheat the oven to 350° and line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper. This will make it easier to remove your bars. Unroll the round pie crust and shape it into a square by cutting off 1 inch of crust from the top, bottom, left and right sides. Discard the scraps. Lay the pie crust into the baking pan and poke several holes with a fork so that the crust doesn’t puff up. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. While it bakes, make the pecan bar filling. In a medium size bowl, mix the melted butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt until thoroughly combined. Fold in the pecan halves and give it a final mix. Pour the mixture evenly over the baked pie crust and continue to bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Allow the bars to cool completely and refrigerate for at least two hours before cutting into bite-size squares. In a medium size bowl, blend the whipped cream, Jell-O pudding, powdered sugar, rum, and vanilla with an electric mixer until it becomes thick. Transfer it to a serving bowl and chill for at least an hour. Serve along side the pecan squares.

The Story of The Processionary Caterpillars; Carving a Path For Your Success
By Christina Dalton, MS, PPS, PCC, EYH Life CoachLessons are learned in sometimes the oddest places and in unusual situations. Take for example the experiment conducted by John Henry Fabre in the early 1900’s. Fabre understood that processionary caterpillars follow one another to get to where they need to go for food, water or other survival needs. He decided to experiment with arranging the caterpillars to walk in a circle. With understanding nature, he figured that the experiment would last a few minutes, or maybe a few hours when the caterpillars would establish a survival mentality and acknowledge this routine was a mistake and change their course. But after a week, the caterpillars continued their circular walk to the point that some started to die off.
Similar to the processionary caterpillars who endlessly walk in circles and continue this pattern to the point of their own demise, people often continue patterns that are no longer productive, or that don’t serve their best interest. These habits may have been successful in the past, but now no longer work for current needs. This can be in relationships, eating and drinking, career, or anything else you thought you valued.
When you analyze where you are in your life today, is every part enabling you to be your best self? Are repetitive habits having unfavorable outcomes? What do you need to change to carve a path for your success so that you are not following circular patterns that used to work or following leaders that do not empower you? If you are not able to answer, may I recommend doing the following activity? Set up a spreadsheet that lists the following:
-Relationships
-Career
-Physical health
-Appearance
-Hobbies/Activities
Under each, list at least three areas you value. Then, in another column list three areas you would like to change or do not value. In the positive section rank 1 to 5 how much you value what you have listed. Five is the top ranking. In the negative column, list -1 to -5,
with -5 being what you especially would want to change. Add up each section and combine your positive and negative totals for each section. If the total outcome is negative, maybe it’s time for you to make some changes. EYHLifeCoach is here for you if you want to explore this further. It’s time to change your circular patterns to carve your path for success in your personal and professional endeavors.
