Greetings and Welcome to the Toledo, Ohio Inaugural Caring for the Caregiver Expo! I am so “Thankful” to God for allowing me to fulfill the vision of expanding the Caring for the Caregiver Expo to another City in Ohio. We began hosting our first Caring for the Caregiver Expo in Columbus, Ohio in November 2019. To let you how it all started, my Sister and I spent 13 years caring for our father after our mother passed away in 2004. When our mother went home to be with the Lord, our father was lost, grieving, hurting, sick, desperate and in need of our help. By the Grace of God and support from our family and friends, we made sure he was safe and well taken care of with dignity and respect and he lived a happier life until he passed away on August 27, 2017.
As a daughter, mother and grandmother, I know firsthand what it means to be a Caregiver. Through the Caring for the Caregiver Expo it is our hope and intention to provide you with valuable information, resources, education, guidance, up lifting support and love with some much needed recognition and pampering as you go through the journey of life.
I extend a very special heartfelt Thank You to my dear friends and our Toledo City Host Rich and Deb Hogan, Owners of “The Juice” FM 107.3 WJUC who graciously accepted the challenge of hosting the Toledo Inaugural Caring for the Caregiver Expo in partnership with Spencer 4Higher Media LLC and the Ohio Sickle Cell and Health Association. Known as The Peoples Station, “The Juice” has been serving and giving back to the Toledo community for over 25 years with entertainment, news and community support.
We also extend our sincere “Thanks” to former First Lady Rosalynn Carter who has endorsed and supported The Caring for the Caregiver Expo since its inception in 2019. Mrs. Carter sums up Caregiving the best with her famous quote: “There are only four kinds of people in the world those who have been caregivers, those who are caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who need caregivers.”
Thank you and sending heartfelt prayers to our City Host “The Juice” FM 107.3 WJUC, the Ohio Sickle Cell and Health Association, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, my family, staff, volunteers and all the Caregivers who helped make today’s Caring for the Caregiver Expo a tremendous success.
We give all Glory and Honor to God and we wish each of you continued Miracles and Blessings!

“Regardless of what challenge you are facing right now, know that it has not come to stay. It has come to pass. During these times, do what you can with what you have, and ask for help if needed. Most importantly, never surrender. Put things in perspective. Take care of yourself. Find ways to replenish your energy, strengthen your faith, and fortify yourself from the inside out.”
