Cities are the physical manifestation of relations that move the human life; economic, social, environmental relations.
how the cities are building, and improving our role to make architecture a discipline that other disciplines related to.
Architecture has a great responsibility with society, it is responsible for shaping the spaces where human interaction happens, not only in order to generate functional spaces, but to provide the inhabitants places for personal development to enhance the quality of life.
I am an architect and industrial designer from the Pontifical Javeriana University (BogotĂĄ, Colombia), along my career and my interest in the way cities are built; I understand my two labor camps as the possibility of improving the living of human beings and their relationships in the environment at different scales. Architecture allows me to shape the space in which a person develops activities, and the design allows me to intervene in a smaller scale the way in which man develops interfaces to interact with their environment and other people.
It’s clear that as professionals we are in a phase where we been lost engagement with the city. In today’s world, I believed that architecture should find a new way to dialogue with multiple disciplines as sociology, economy and philosophy, but always connected to reality, understanding

Living in the new collective and productive district
Laboratory for the contemporary city (Industrial molecular housing) Location: Bogotรก (Colombia) Typology: Urban Laboratory The project is the result of a six months process of study in the conurbation area of Soacha, next to the capital, Bogotรก.
buildings alternate housing and industrial work with new spaces for recreation and trade .
The consolidation of the area as a big industry territory in past years has now a new dynamics and social behaviors, the new image built through the analysis and implementation of strategies shows two major proposal projects for the territory. First, the fragmentation of large parts of industry to the south side of the highway generates large empty spaces that can generate a new image of the area with mixed-use
The second main image is the housing consolidated over the years on the north side of the highway in which a set of collective spaces will be generate on top of each house, supplying the deficit public spaces and green areas, all with the help of large pieces of equipment that would help to control the growth of these houses, always understanding the behavior and phenomena of this place.

Termini station master plan
Contemporary palimpsest Termini Tower Location: Rome (Italy) Typology: Urban design / Master plan / Mixed use Building What if the new development in the city of Rome is part of a reorientation and consolidation for the built city instead of promoting a vision of expansion and inequality. Using the empty areas produced by the train system all across the consolidated city of Rome, the project pretend to meet the needs of the real state market and also produce new connection and spaces to enhance citizens life. Understand how the new dynamics are filling the patrimonial buildings in this area of Rome is the main guideline to
improve and insert new spaces to enhance the urban life, palimpsest projects who insert itself in the built city to renew this sector through new mixing uses and collective spaces in addition to the pedestrian areas. The building itself is an excuse to learn about detail and construction architectural drawings all across the project, from the basement emplacement and the basic structure to detail drawing of interior spaces and collectives zones with nature installations and facade construction details.

Location: Guaymallén (Argentina) Typology: Urban renewal / Master plan Guaymallén in Mendoza, Argentina is calling for an urban renewal proposal for this 26 hectares unused polygon in the periphery of the city. Looking for a proposal that embraces the character of the place, revitalizes the existing patrimony left of the old train station, and brings a whole lot of opportunities for the local people. The addressed problem is this underused urban void in the city. The change in use that left abandoned the old train station, causing its immediate context to deteriorate and the rupture of the urban tissue, turning into a physical
barrier that difficults appropriation, connectivity and interaction. Our proposal bases its conception upon the historical natural characteristic of Guymallén; the “Oasis”. A natural, fertile ecosystem where things grow, which is used in the proposal as a great scale Park where innovation and entrepreneurship is harvest. Taking local strengths and potentialities and turning them into opportunities and development for the territory and its inhabitants.

Typology: Concept design / Housing The space is conceived to develop the activities of living and the exaltation of beauty that represents the natural space of the profession. In this way, the boundary between the working space and the living space is broken to understand the ideological importance that the floriculturist has with his profession and the sublime nature of the natural landscape in which he daily works. The crops are products developed by man, conceived from a structural vision, in which the space and its limits must be controlled. Therefore, it’s geometric configuration is orthogonal, constructing a homogeneous landscape. So,
the volumetric design of the house extends this premise of orthogonality and is articulated with the outer space through subtractions to generate spaces for dialogue between the crops and the spaces proper to inhabit. The creation of each interior space and activity that develops is constantly coexisting with the crops so that the flowers are always present in the scenarios produced. The spatial configuration of the dwelling is hierarchized through a central space of vegetation that contains the exterior natural landscape.
