Homelearning June 4th ,2013 Task 1: UOI/Literacy Own report
Literacy: Frederic has been overall average compared to other students in literacy, although his main difficulties is editing his work and rushing. When Frederic rushes his work he tends to make a lot of mistakes in his story/writing piece. UOI: In Unit of Inquiry Frederic has been good in making proper group decisions. He collaborates efficiently and effectively. He has a good understanding of each unit and its central idea. Math: In math Frederic has learned many new different things such as Algebraic equations and problems to do with it. In class we have different problems to give to the students to tell them to solve it. Each problem has a different way of solving it. Such us patterns, algebra, and others. Behavior and Attitude: Frederic has improved on his behavior in the last semester, he does not tend to go off task on the computer. But the main problem is that he rushes on his work, no matter the subject, I think Frederic can improve better on this matter. Task: 2 Grade 5 blog reflection What is your highlight in Grade 5 ? My highlight in grade 5 is when we got do to some improvising training by some visitors, we learned new drama skills that we didn’t discover during school. What was the low point in the year for you? My low point in the year was when I was always off task on the computer and never listening to the teacher at mid-year of school. What advice would you give the Grade 4’s when they go to Grade 5? Behave well, show common sense and have fun!
