The festival will bring together great traditional and contemporary dance performances from a number of different groups from local and international artists/dance groups. MEET THE ARTIST: NATHALIE CHARCOSSET Come and meet sensational painting artist Natalie charcosset from Lyon on Monday, 9th of May at 11am at the Alliance Française of Dar es Salaam. At the age of 18, she joined the National High School of Fine Arts of Saint Etienne and then turned to a work on volume and matter, influenced by ancient, contemporary sculpture and artists such as Giacometti, Moore and Rodin. Her journey will lead her to explore painting as a space of dreams, thoughts, impressions, sensations. Painting by trying to approach the unknown, the invisible. Capture a movement, a light, a line of a body, a landscape or an object. Looking at the world and painting the emotion it gives us.
