The books listed are described by standard book conditions ie: Mint: This means that the book or magazine is in perfect condition. It is complete with its dustwrapper (if it originally came with one) and is impossible to tell from a new copy. Fine: The book is complete with wrapper (if applicable) and appears to be in excellent condition. Closer examination, however, will show evidence of ownership and storage. There may also be a small inscription to the previous owner, but generally the book is in near perfect condition. Very good: Slightly less than Fine condition. Apart from possible slight foxing or fading of the spine and cover, the book has no faults. Good: It is obvious at first glance that the book is second-hand. However, apart from minor faults, it must always be assumed that books in good condition are complete in all respects unless described otherwise. The covers can often be rather faded and rubbed, but if they are discoloured or marked in some way, this should be mentioned. Poor/reading: A book under this heading is really in bad condition. It may be warped, the preliminary pages may be missing and the spine irreparably damaged. The text is complete but the book will only really be suitable to read. It will be worth considerably more if it contains good illustrations however. Xlib: Ex-library copies must always be designated as such no matter what the condition of the book. Book Club editions must always be noted as such no matter what the condition of the book. Binding Copy describes a book in which the pages or leaves are perfect but the binding is very bad, loose, off or nonexistent. Dustjacket - in all cases, the lack of a dustjacket should be noted if the book was issued with one.
