1.3 The income and expenditure account for the first eight months is:

The hire of hall figure looks concerning but, as previously explained, there is some income in last years accounts which, when I reconstructed the accounts, was probably from the previous year. Its influence will not end until our new financial year begins. A few adjustments need to be made to get a more reliable figure. As the comparison November figures below show, last November saw a payment by the Jones' Tai Chi group who has now left us and a larger payment by the Secret Drawing Club who have reduced their sessions to monthly. Add in the prepaid Art and Elapeth Tai Chi and we are about level. This is helped in no small way by the Farmers Market which was 88% up in November. I will however step up the effort to secure more regular hires as well as the individuals.

The transactions since my last report in October follow at the end of this report.

1.4 The cash flow forecast for the next six months is:

2. Hires 2.1 We did not secure the dog training group who said:

Yes, sorry very rude of me not to contact you, my apologies, we did pop away for a few days, but that’s no excuse. We did a couple of evening runs to test the parking, it didn’t improve any, the carpark on both occasions had spaces, but on evenings like we’ve just had I don’t think people would relish the walk and I think Summer season may find it full until late. We also got friends to check who live in Hythe and Seabrook, their reports back were not favourable. I can’t knock the facilities, the hall is brilliant, but the parking I think would be a major off put for regular classes of 8 to 10 people with their cars. We will keep your contact details on record and if the situation changes, who knows? Thanks for your help and patience. A bit of me is relieved as intuitively one feels that 10 dogs/40 paws with claws would have an adverse effect on the floor. My objective was to stress that other hires do not experience the same problem. 2.2 A busy weekend ahead with a music event on Friday evening with the Members Club securing a TENS license so drinks can be served. Saturday the Market, then a floral workshop then a 70th birthday party then Sunday a children's party.

3. Farmers Market: 3.1 The Farmers Market is responding to both footfall and new stallholders mainly because of the social media promotion in the week running up to the Market and its subsequent momentum. Mike Vines at Sandgate Bakery is on holiday and, if we've learned anything in the last decade, a consistent product presence is critical if people are to be encouraged not to change their buying habits. I have therefore had a supply of loafs made by The Independent Baker in Hythe and our son Philip will be manning the stall. If all sold we receive the ÂŁ10 stall fee. Our takings for the eleven months have been:

4. Web site visits:

5. 20:20 refurbishment 5.1 I am now proceeding to apply for grants as outlined in my recent email. I am awaiting another set of quotations. An ex District Council planning officer visited to check the feasibilty of the ramp. I have yet to hear his conclusions.

6. Miscellaneous: 6.1 Seasonal matters: I have produced two email, social media etc headers:

I am also going to make a few personalised Christmas cards for Market stallholders and regular hirers:

I will sign on behalf of all and I do not intend circulating for individual Trustees to sign unless you say otherwise.

Sue and put up the Christmas decorations on Friday including a door wreath and stair decorations all hand made by Sue. They have already received compliments so thanks to her.

6.2 December diary:

My normal caveats apply. 6.3 November transactions:
