The Annual General Meeting of the Chichester Memorial Hall Board of Trustees was held on the 16th May. The review of the year 2018/19 showed that as well as continuing to generate income from hires and the Farmers' Market the Board was using the reserves generated over the last few years to ensure the fabric of the building is protected by carrying out renovation and decoration in a timely manner. The accounts for the year approved at the meeting were:

ÂŁ20575 was spent refurbishing the Hall including the new floor and a healthy ÂŁ12262 remains for ongoing work which includes new kitchen and toilets as well as decoration. After over a decade, Jan Holben announced her retirement as Chair and as a Trustee. The Board acknowledged and thanked her for the sterling work she has put in on behalf of the Hall over that time and wished her well in pursuing her other interests.
