A week in the life of a poetry-writing bus driver, and a quiet observation of the triumphs and defeats of daily life and of the poetry evident in its smallest details. A film of great gentle charm.

An extraordinary film about a blind masseur / swordsman who comes to a town in control of warring gangs. Funny, beautiful, violent, traditional and exuberant by turns, it shouldn’t work but does. An upbeat film to end our season.

Menin Gate on 30th July 2018 leave Folkestone 9.30am from the Brickfields {Junction 13 - where you can park you car at no cost) Then on the I I:30 Shuttle to Auchan for shopping and lunch at the cafe, leave at 3pm (their time) for the trip to the

Menin Gate Time is yours, the ceremony is at 8 pm then back on the coach by 8.30 pm for the journey back to Calais for the 10:30 shuttle.
