n Italy, we all are blessed with the opportunity of growing immersed in beauty. Some people develop a particular sensitivity that is then put into what they do, adding to their natural inclination to beauty a special taste for elegance and sophistication. Among them, there is Giovanni Costantino, whose long career as Natuzzi’s General Manager refined more and more his talent, of which he took advantage when he entered the navigation business in 2009, when he acquired Tecnomar. It is no coincidence that when you pass the threshold of the headquarter of Marina di Carrara of The Italian Sea Group (which became the headquarter when Tecnomar was joined by the iconic brand Admiral Yachts in 2011 and, the following year, by Nuovi Cantieri Apuania) you feel like you entered a Contemporary Art gallery, with exclusive services such as an elegant Lounge Bar, a polished SPA, a well-stocked gym and an atelier for the best expression and competence in tapestry and carpentry of the prestigious brand Celi. In such a working environment, the staff is strongly stimulated by creativity and the owner has the “measure” of his passion for beauty and of the quality and luxury levels pursued by the group. Today The Italian Sea Group is one of the biggest mixed groups of the international navigation for the building of yachts and ships till 200 metres. The group has built 572 ships and yachts since 1942, and works on the market with other five brands: Admiral, well-known for its prestigious and elegant yachts, Admiral Sail, Admiral’s sail division, Monti di Rovello, historical brand of the design and realisation of luxury interiors, NCA Refit, specialised in the service of restoration and refit of yachts ad megayachts that exceed the 60 metres of length, and Tecnomar, famous for its sporty style, the cutting-age design and the high-level performances of its yachts. 2016 stood out as a year rich with important activities and projects. Four megayachts (with lengths from 40 to 55 metres) were consigned. Among them, it is worthy to mention the 55-metre M/Y Quinta Essentia, belonging to the Admiral E Motion series, which is a world leader: it is the biggest hybrid propulsion yacht that has ever been launched. Totally in aluminium, with a tonnage of 870 GT, it is characterised by its interiors curated by Michela Reverberi, the exteriors designed by Dobroserdov Design and the marine engineering curated by Vripack. Quinta Essentia was built for a very experienced owner.

tazione del vero Made in Italy. Il 2016 si è distinto come un anno ricco di attività e progetti importanti. Sono stati consegnati quattro megayacht da 40 a 55m ed il Gruppo ha ancora in costruzione ben 6 yachts da 40 a 75m. Tra quelli varati merita una menzione il M/Y Quinta Essentia, 55m della linea Admiral E Motion, che detiene il primato mondiale di yacht a propulsione ibrida più grande mai varato. Caratterizzata da interni curati da Michela Reverberi, esterni disegnati da Dobroserdov Design e ingegneria navale di Vripack, Quinta Essentia è stata costruita per un Armatore di grande esperienza. Interamente in alluminio, lo yacht presenta una stazza di 870 GT.
L’avanzato sistema di propulsione ibrida di Quinta Essentia integra due tradizionali motori di 1,400 cavalli ciascuno con due motori elettrici di 150 kW ciascuno, connessi a generatori a velocità variabile. Questo sistema d’avanguardia garantisce i migliori risultati di navigazione, in termini di silenziosità e di efficienza. Bella nella sua livrea bianca e rossa e con forme da yacht d’altri tempi, Quinta Essentia, prevede sei Cabine Ospiti per dodici posti in totale e si ispira ai quattro elementi vitali: aria, fuoco, terra e acqua. I sorprendenti dettagli degli interni evocano un’atmosfera opulenta ma nello stesso tempo calda e rilassante. Sedendo a poppa sul ponte principale, l’Armatore e gli Ospiti possono godere di una grande area relax che guarda verso un’ampia piscina. La sala macchine è stata spostata al centro dello yacht per dare vita ad una vasta area wellness & spa sul ponte inferiore, collegata direttamente alla piattaforma della piscina. Quest’area è organizzata con bagno turco, cabina sauna, sala massaggi, area relax e balcone laterale.
