Looking at the Three Measures: Spiritual, Social & Physical
Spiritual What an amazing past few months we've had! God has really been at work in the lives of our young adults, taking them to deeper places spiritually. Our Thrive Bible Study is steadily growing both From Left to Right: Raylin, Born & Gregory in commitment & in numbers. were baptized into Christ on May 4th. We meet every Sunday from 3:30 - 7:00. Please remember us in your prayers! We are also very excited to share that in May three of our young men were baptized into Christ. It has been great to be a part of the spiritual journeys they are each on. This is a decision they did not make lightly & we are so happy to welcome them into the family of God.
We are considering a furlough near the end of the year, but need a good plan to leave the ministry here for a time Pray for workers to come join us in Namibia The continuation of 3 Measures' health program Successful discipleship

As part of our social efforts in the community, Three Measures put on a two day counseling clinic for the staff of Beautiful Kidz working with youth in Katutura. Tammy Christensen, a counseling professor who came with the team from Central Christian College of the Bible, taught the class. We hope the tools they learned will help them provide help and comfort to those who are hurting.

Support
Physical In April we had a couple come from the Netherlands to help us develop our Physical Health program. They were here for just under two months, but we were able to accomplish so much in that time! We ran first aid training courses, hygiene clinics, alcohol education presentations & a physiotherapy clinic for the elderly. Best of all, we were able to train three men (the three who were baptized in May) as Community Health Workers! They have been doing a great job!
In the last couple of months of 2013 we made some great progress in our support. We are so thankful for all of you who have decided to partner with Three Measures to reach Namibia!

Our monthly support is still at $3,000 monthly, which leaves us just $400 away from our 100% goal that includes ministry funds, administration costs and keeping the Echols in Namibia. We are almost there! First Aid sudent, Peter, learning CPR.
Thanks for all the Help! We would like to say thank you for all the help we received over the past couple of months. Gerco and Anne-Sophie van de Kraats came to serve for two months and made what is sure to be a lasting impact on the ministry. It is amazing how much we could achieve together as a team.

Raven Woods also returned with another team from Central Christian College of the Bible for a little over two weeks. Besides the counseling class, they helped run various programs while they were here and really touched a lot of people with their presence.
We are also very thankful because this year we have already received some very generous one-time gifts that have helped us with a number of special projects.
