From Home to Home If you have been keeping up with these newsletters or following our blog, you know that a lot has happened since we were last in the USA in the summer of 2012. Well, our second term is drawing to an end & we are ready to make another trip from our Namibian home to our American home this winter before continuing with our third term in 2015.We are so excited to see you all, share about the last two years and introduce you all to Avi for the first time. We will land in Colorado on Oct 31st and head to Missouri as soon as the jetlag passes. We'll be back in CO for Dec & Jan. So get in touch and let us know if you want to get together.
A Christian Home
Our newest sister!
Early this month Sandy had the privilege of baptizing one of our Thrive ladies into Christ! We are so excited for her decision and that she has found a new family in Christ. She now has a home like never before among Christians who love and support her. Please pray for her as she continues in her Christian walk.

Support Meeting in Homes As you may know, house churches are a big part of our vision with 3 Measures. Our first plant (which we call Thrive Group because we have to be careful about saying "church plant" here) is currently meeting in our office. We have now started a second "Thrive Group," this time meeting with a family in their home. They have already expressed interest in opening their home to others to would like to be involved. We are very excited abut this amazing family and their commitment to discipleship. Please be in prayer for Abraham & Margret as well as their daughters Florida, Flora, Florence & Florincia. Also pray for Raylin, I'll introduce him below, who will be leading the Bible studies for the Raylin, our latest staff at 3 Measures family while we're gone. A Few More Updates
First Aid graduates in Ovitoto
In September we welcomed our first staff at 3 Measures. Raylin Uirab is part of our original Thrive Group and was baptized back in May. He was also one of the Community Health Workers that we trained earlier this year.
We began Hope Café last month as a place for community to grow and for college students to have a place to have internet access. We trained 37 rural preschool teachers in basic first aid in the small village of Ovitoto. We cover the necessities: Heimlich, CPR, and of course… snake bites. Thank you all so much for coming, serving and being a part of our lives! Are you interested in volunteering with 3 Measures? Let me know! With our upcoming furlough we do have some extra need. We have currently raised $1,000 toward the $4,480 that it cost for the airplane tickets. If you would like to help us cover these expenses, please let us know. Our monthly support is still at $3,000 monthly, which leaves us just $400 away from our 100% goal that includes ministry funds, administration costs and keeping the Echols in Namibia. We are almost there! Please consider joining the work of Three Measures here in Namibia. If you would like to financially partner with David & Sandy and 3 Measures through a monthly commitment or one-time help, simply go to www.3measur.es/donate OR return the included response card OR contact us at support@3measur.es.
