preterm labor. The doctors did what they could to stop it, but decided on the 8th that it was safer for him to come out & he was born at only 33 weeks and 4 days. Even at almost seven weeks early Reese arrived at 6.37 lbs and after one night in intensive care was released to our care. God is so good! For more about his birth story, visit our blog: davidandsandy.org. He is such a blessing & we could not be more thankful for this gift. He is doing really well (with the exception of pretty severe jaundice that we are still trying to treat) & we cannot wait for you all to meet him when we’re back for furlough this summer. Thank you for all the prayers the last few weeks, they really got us through. Please keep them up as he is still very much premature. Also keep Sandy in your prayers as she continues to recover.
