David Noonan
âNoonanâ. Derived from Gaelic meaning âBelovedâ Unlike the name Murphy (ref. Callum) which is the most popular Irish name, Noonan is one of those rare and special names. In fact so rare that when typed into Microsoft word it says âfragment, consider revisingâ. However it is not a name you âreviseâ, itâs a name you are born with. You may only come across a âNoonanâ as frequently as you would come across an Egyptian vulture. I kid you not, that is a very rare sighting! So if you do come across a âNoonanâ be sure and say hello. Recent sightings of Noonanâs have included the Eiffel tower, Lake Windermere and as far as Hong Kong. And now due to recent admiration for the name, it has prompted a facebook appreciation site to be set up by newly âbelovedâ fans. One such comment read, âI love your name so much I am going to name my kitten after youâ. Another one surprisingly read, âMy cow no longer Mooâs, it Nooâs!â The Bible has even jumped on the bandwagon pledgin
