THE EASY PART

STEP BY STEP

CHOOSE A MATERIAL

SOAK IT IN WATER

PLACE IT ON SURFACE

Paper, fabric or whatever you want

The wetter the better!

You can use a plastic bag for protection

CREATE A STENCIL

TAPE IS EFFECTIVE

OR USE ANY OBJECT!

Plastic can be practical. It’s easy to clean

Oxide printing loves close contact This will give some sharp lines

Just like a photogram! You want to “block” the oxygen

CUT STEEL WOOL

SOAK IT IN VINEGAR

PLACE IT ON CANVAS

A little actually goes a long way

It really works like magic

The color will spread from this spot The borders are the safe choice

WAIT

LET IT DRY

CROP IT

This depends on the size of your print The longer time = the stronger color

I recommend stretching it a bit here if you want to avoid wrinkles

Or let it be rough! Either way you are done! Enjoy!
