Developed by Crowe Horwath Jamaica, Legal Access is a new and innovative way for businesses in Jamaica to access legal services without financially crippling their businesses with exorbitant legal fees. The program offers businesses a set number of hours that are purchased in advance atdiscounted hourly rates, which may be used as needed throughout the year. Businesses have the option to select the package and hours that best fit their needs - from 10 to as many hours they wish. Although every one of the Firm’s clients receives the utmost quality of service, subscribing to Legal Access will provide an added benefit. Paying for Legal Access is tantamount to having your own In-house Legal Counsel. Companies pay enormous sums of money to have teams of lawyers at their disposal, whether it is for reviewing a contract, or “just in case”. When a business owner needs alawyer to double check a contract, to answer a quick question, or run a checklist on a new agreement they are charged by the hour and need to update their lawyer on every detail. Many people consult and retain a lawyer because something happened. People who purchase a Legal Access package do so primarily so that something does not happen. Legal Access is designed to be as flexible and convenient in every manner possible.

Analysis of business purchase/sale. Referral network for specialized legal needs.
FEE STRUCTURE For a flat annual fee, clients have ongoing access to legal expertise at hourly rates of $5,000 – $9,000 per hour- less than half the normal rate. Legal Access takes care of the paperwork and tracks your time to alert you when you are nearing the end of your hours. At that time, you ca renew your package, upgrade to the next level, or if you only need a few additional hours you can choose to be billed at the firm’s normal hourly rates.
