a) Objective: Introduce the new lesson and set the scene for Ss to acquire new language; get students' attention at the beginning of the class by enjoyable and short activities as well as to engage them in the follow-up step s. b) Content: Introduce words about hobbies. c) Expected outcomes: Ss have general ideas about the top ic “free time activities” .

- Give greetings. - Check attendance.  Option 1: Number the pictures. - Use the “New words” p art a.–p age 4 for the warm-up activity. - Show p ictures and words (using DCR), have Ss number the p ictures (in p airs). - Call Ss to give answers. - Give feedback and show correct answers (using DCR). - Lead to the new lesson. - Greet T. - Work in p airs to number the p ictures. - Give answers.
