Week 6 .
When you are in charge you get to change the rules to suit your game. The slush pipe of atounding crap flowing from Trumpdom is up to our necks. Even our founding fathers would be dumbfounded. 2
The House Republicans voted to block a resolution that would have forced Donald Trump to release the last 10 years of his tax returns to Congress for review. They did this knowing that 74% of Americans, including 53% of Republicans, want Trump to release his taxes, something every presidential candidate for a major party has done since 1972. - thehill.com

of Trump product-resulted in his product sales skyrocketing as supporters raced out to counter the effort. More unaddressed conflicts of interest and unabashed international deals without repercussions have increased everyone’s urge to drink.

rump son’s business trip to Uruguay in early January cost taxpayers $97,830 to put Secret Service and embassy staffers in hotel rooms. Estimates that since taking office, the President’s three trips to his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida have already cost the federal treasury some $10 million. At this rate, the report says, travel and security for Trump and his family could run up a bill in the hundreds of millions of dollars by the end of his term. That’s not normal -Washington Post Maybe we should go dutch with the Trumps?

T
he trouble in Mr. Sessions’s case is that his meeting came as the nation’s intelligence agencies were concluding that Russia had tried to destabilize the election and help Mr. Trump. Mr. Sessions’s initial lack of disclosure of the meetings with Mr. Kislyak fed suspicions that it was more than run-of-the-mill diplomacy. -New York Times Seems like another one for the rocket launcher. Too bad the Trump transition team declined the mini course offered in ethics training and basic decorum. 6
E
arly morning unsubstantiated Trump tweets stating as fact; that there was FBI surveillance of Trump Tower during the election and calling past President Obama (sic) and (bad) seem to be tolerated by the press, the Democrats and American people. Beyond the flat out crazy nature of this whole episode; that this behavior is served up daily, should be setting off smoke alarms.

We need a Hero.
Maybe Al Franken! “The sharp-tongued Franken also zinged the administration on other topics, calling new Education Secretary Betsy DeVos “the least qualified nominee I’ve ever seen” and saying an “independent investigation” on the Trump administration’s connections to Russia is needed. “He has sidled up to Putin in so many ways,” Franken said of the president. On CNN, Franken also doubled down on his comments Friday on HBO’s comedic “Real Time With Bill Maher,” saying that at least some of his colleagues are privately worried about the president’s mental health. politico.com 8
House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi of California
said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Trump’s allegation about Obama was a classic diversion tactic. She called him “deflector in chief.” Trump shot back calling her “incompetent” and Elizabeth Warren; “Pocahontas.” Al Franken called Trump racist. It is clearly time for a BIG timeout. Nunes (R-Tulare), who chairs the House Intelligence Committee, said the probe of the president’s allegation would be wrapped into an existing investigation of Russia’s role in the 2016 presidential campaign. -LA Times

In February, House speaker Paul Ryan characterized the GOP’s efforts to scrap Obamacare as a “rescue mission” for a troubled system on the brink of collapse. But Republicans’ proposed American Health Care Act (AHCA), released this week, would repeal most of Obamacare and replace it with a much less generous plan tilted heavily toward the healthy and wealthy. If this is a rescue attempt, it’s the equivalent of showing up and kicking the people you want to help in the shins. -Quartz media

The new “not really a Moslem ban is out and lawyers are lining
up with their badminton rackets to slap it back. In fact lawyers are lining up on all kinds of Trumpian issues. After his paranoid explosion of unfortunate tweets last weekendMr Trump has been oddly quiet or perhaps muzzled. 11
A
nd now a little update from North Korea: Kim Jong Un launched 4 missiles working toward his goal of hitting U S bases in Japan. They flew 600 miles, 3 falling into the sea of Japan. Also it turns out the highly toxic poison used to kill his half brother is internationally outlawed, so Kim whipped up several tons of it for good measure. This petty, bloated despot is an increasingly annoying pimple on the chin of the far East. Really he just wants to join the leaders of mass destruction club. 12
