LITERATURE SURVEY 1 ABSTRACT- Plagiarism can be well defined in the following points: It is to steal (other’s ideas and work) and move-on as one’s one work. It is to use other’s productive work and pass-off without crediting the source. It is a literal theft of already existing source and publish as a novel and own one. It is legal issue of right on Plagiarized thesis work for some period of time. It is to obtain your ownership over any work like art, literature, music, etc. Copyright can be obtained only when it is proved that your work is not already existing or matching other existing works. As said earlier about plagiarism, DrillBit is newly developed software in India that works as anti-plagiarism checker over large data set available globally. Though the word anti-plagiarism sound familiar too many checkers available, what makes DrillBit Stand out unique is its accuracy, Flexibility and many more, here i working in a team to support for their process. 2 INTRODUCTION: The Internet has made plagiarism easier than ever before. From elementary schools to the highest levels of academia, the ease of downloading and copying untraceable online information has led to an epidemic of digital plagiarism. Intentional or unintentional use of another words or ideas without acknowledging this use constitutes plagiarism: There are four common forms of plagiarism: The duplication of an author words without quotation marks and accurate references or footnotes. The duplication of author words or phrases with footnotes or accurate references, but without quotation marks. The use of author ideas in paraphrase without accurate references or annotations.
