Two chances to volunteer to aid in emergency preparedness On April 9, from 9 am to 1 p.m., the Center for Health and Homeland Security is asking for volunteers for a fullscale exercise for the Prince George’s County Health Department Cities Readiness Initiative. This exercise will simulate a public health emergency; the volunteers will be asked to go through a mass dispensing site and pick up mock medication. The event will be held at Largo High School in Upper Marlboro. No experience or special skills are required; and all ages are welcome. Middle and high school students can earn service learning hours.
