What excites you most about the 2014 Season? I am excited the most about the challenge to go out with guys I’ve been with for the last few years and make a run towards a conference and state championship. Is there any pressure to being the new starting QB? I just look at the pressure as a great opportunity to go out and play, leading our team towards success. When you aren’t at football practice or school what are you doing? Hanging out with friends and playing madden (Laughs) Everyone has a pre-game ritual; what’s yours? In bed by 10 the night before, eat a big breakfast the next morning, listen to music before kickoff, then pray.

Eagle Walk of Faith—our spiritual path Every Monday the football program begins the week long grind off the field with “Team Spiritual Hour”. During this hour, Reverend Joe Jones leads our young men as he talks about not only the challenges of being a young Christian today, but also about the positive things on how following a Christ filled life can lead to success and fulfillment. Eagle Team Chaplain
Rev. Joe Jones
The goal is to develop young men who not only are responsible and positive, but who are enabled to serve their world as they grow into manhood. Reverend Jones will have a regular column in our Home Game Day Program Guide each week, and on our site at www.GRCHSFootball.com
Eagle HOPE Helping Our Peers Excel “but those who HOPE in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like Eagles” Isaiah 41:31a Philosophy: We believe God created every person as a unique, valued child of God and is filled with God-given promise and potential. We believe that the term “peer” relates to the young and old and that we can all demonstrate Eagle HOPE to the peers God has brought into each of our lives. Purpose:
Eric Taylor
To Honor God by embracing that He creates all of His children uniquely different; to embrace our unique interests, abilities, disabilities, diversity and spiritual walk. To create an environment of interaction, encouragement, friendship and mentorship between GRCHS Football Team Players with a Middle School Student of differing abilities and life circumstances. To enrich the lives of all involved. To create a model for Eagle HOPE to become part of any team or program at GRCHS. Plan:
Bart Hansen
The principals of Grand Rapids Christian Middle School and Rockford Christian Middle School will identify students through teacher and parent input that could benefit from involvement in Eagle HOPE and will extend an invitation to the parents and the student. Each Middle School Student who accepts the Eagle HOPE invitation will join an Eagle HOPE Team which consists of 4 to 6 Varsity Football Players that have been selected by their coaches.

Van Eerden Foodservice Company is an independent, broadline foodservice distributor based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Company began in 1920 when Andrew Van Eerden and two partners formed "Van Eerden Company" to distribute fresh produce to grocers and restaurants in the Greater Grand Rapids area. From its beginning, the Company maintained a practice of buying the finest quality produce available, and delivering the product to its customers as-soon-as possible, ensuring freshness and value. Growth and market expansion led the Company to incorporate in early 1961, and Jack Van Eerden, Andrew's son, was elected President and General Manager. While the Company continued to grow and expand into other product lines, it retained its commitment to quality service. This commitment contributed to Van Eerden Foodservice Company being recognized as one of the nation's top tier broadline foodservice distributors. Now in its third generation of family ownership, Van Eerden Foodservice Company still remains focused on the business principles and values first established by Andrew Van Eerden in 1920. Committed to a philosophy of "Service First", Van Eerden Foodservice Company looks at situations from the customer's point of view, understanding that real solutions provide the customer with what they need to succeed in their business. To this end, we place special emphasis on:
  
Developing strong relationships with our customers. Partnering with vendors and brokers to offer customers the best value for their purchases. Expanding product lines to meet changing needs. Supporting customers with innovative technology and cost-effective, efficient services.
