Fellow Cattlemen: I would like to invite you to the sixteenth edition of the Bluegrass Gelbvieh Invitational Sale. As many producers are finding, the Gelbvieh female is one of the most profitable in the beef industry. Gelbvieh’s popularity continues to grow due to the breed strengths: modest birth, excellent growth, maternal strength, quite disposition and feed efficiency. This offering certainly reflects the breed’s strengths. Whether you are searching for a herd sire, bred heifer or cow/calf pair, I feel you will be pleased with the quality. This is one of the best offerings yet! Most every lot is the result of an AI breeding. Many females will sell AI bred to some of the breeds most popular bulls. Additional pictures will be available on Friday before the sale. Contact me if you would like a picture emailed of a specific lot. I will be glad to discuss the sale lots to provide you with any information that will help in your seedstock selection. If you are unable to attend the sale and are interested in bidding, please contact me prior to the sale. I will attempt to provide the best means for your participation.
Sincerely,
David Slaughter 270-556-4259
