Fellow Gelbvieh Breeders: I would like to invite you to the fourth edition of the KY TN Fall Gelbvieh Classic Sale. Every day seems to bring new changes and challenges to the beef industry. In uncertain times, we are fortunate to be a part of a cattle breed that is leading the path to profitability for the cow/calf producer. As many producers are finding, the Gelbvieh female is one of the most profitable in the beef industry. Gelbvieh’s popularity continues to grow due to the breed strengths: modest birth, excellent growth, maternal strength, quite disposition and feed efficiency. This offering certainly reflects the breed’s strengths. Whether you are searching for a herd sire, open heifer, bred heifer or cow/calf pair, I feel you will be pleased with the quality. Pictures for many of the lots will be available on Friday before the sale. Contact me if you would like a picture emailed of a specific lot. I will be glad to discuss the sale lots to provide you with any information that will help in your seedstock selection. If you are unable to attend the sale and are interested in bidding, please contact me prior to the sale. I will attempt to provide the best means for your participation. Sincerely,
David Slaughter 270-556-4259
