JKGF Pay Up K824 was the high selling bull in the 2024 Genetic Power Bull Sale selling to Bar SS Cattle Company in Russellville, Kentucky. Pay Up was collected and used in-herd only in the fall of 2023 prior to our 2024 production sale. His first calves are on the ground at J & K Gelbvieh and they are the most impressive calves we have in the fall of 2024. The decision to share the genetics of this impressive sire was easy. We feel there is an opportunity in Pay Up for Gelbvieh breeders to expand purebred genetics with his quality and the Genomic EPD profile he possesses. Every EPD in his profile is in the top 50% of the Gelbvieh breed. A balance of calving ease, performance, maternal and carcass makes Pay Up one of the more in intriquing AI sires that has been produced at J & K Gelbvieh Farm. His dam, JKGF F824 has emerged as our top production female and sells as lot 4 in this 2025 National Gelbvieh and Balancer Sale.

When we toured Goldux Gelbvieh the summer of 2023 this female was one that hit us hard and was a “had to have” purchase. When we think about the goals we have set for our cow herd terms like maternal, fleshing ability and structural integrity come to mind. Luna possesses all of these traits and more. She has a pedigree that combines great genetics from many prolific and well respected programs. She is sired by BARG Independence 21G who is a female maker through and through. Her dam GDX Daphne 655D is as consistent as they come and raised a herd bull that is currently working at Hojer Gelbvieh Ranch with great reports on his progeny. Daphne’s sire BEA Closer has been a combination herd sire with his daughters being equally as productive as his sons and they typically stay in the herd for over 10 years. Her donor dam PLA Starburst has progeny count of 70 total head within the registry working in 13 different herds. Longevity runs deep within this cow family. We are excited to add Luna to our donor line up post calving in late January.

Overmiller Gelbvieh choice to flush any Overmiller Cow on the ranch. Breed of cow does not matter.
Overmiller Gelbvieh and Red Angus is excited to open the gates and let you pick any, cow, any color, any breed % to Flush. We have several donors walking our pastures as well as cows we plan to flush ourselves in the future. Our ET program is expanding as we are now flushing Gelbvieh and Balancer cows as well as making Balancers with Red Angus and Angus Donors. We believe the cows make the ranch successful and have used “Powerful, Maternal Genetics” as a slogan for several years. We take pride in our cow herd and feel we have many females worthy of being a donor. We have incorporated some of the most coveted cow families from other breeds including the Blockana and Abigrace cow families from the Red Angus breed. On the Angus side, we have included Everelda Entense and Baldridge Y69 Angus cow families among others. We are one of the larger suppliers of Red Balancer Genetics in the breed if you are looking to go that direction. One of the Hottest Red Angus bulls in America, C-T Reputation 0094 is walking our pastures with semen selling for over $1,100 per straw before it was on the open market. His progeny would be available. As the breed has felt the need for more positive carcass traits, we have acquired the NUMBER ONE Marbling EPD Female who is Homo Black, Homo Polled & a parent who contributes 50% Gelbvieh in the entire registry at the time of this catalog being made. She is available in this pick! Give us a call and we would be happy to discuss the possibilities of this pick. The female chosen must be owned 100% by our family and over 99% of them are.

Incredible opportunity here! With support from our family back home in western Kansas, we are extremely fortunate to have been able to create an exciting purebred bull that could be beneficial to the entire breed. An outcross pedigree to most purebred genetics today, CLGR GRU Man of Few Words 262M is out of a first calf heifer that is tremendous uddered and looks to be a potential cornerstone female for our operation. He’s sired by an exciting new purebred bull that we purchased from Rippe Gelbvieh, DBRG Kickstart 2202K who carries an outcross pedigree with impeccable feet, look and power.
Man of Few Words is a powerful, rugged bull with a remarkable blend of muscle and mass. What makes him stand out is his unique combination of sheer power with an incredible look. Despite his overwhelming dimension, he moves effortlessly, with the soundness and structural integrity that every breeder aims for.

This one’s special. Post Rock Zula 101M1 has been a ranch favorite from the beginning. Not often do we campaign and promote a red one (the last one being her maternal grand sire, Post Rock Powerbuilt), but when we do, you should know the faith we have in them impacting a program. Her sire is proving to be quite the breeding bull in his initial calf crop. He breeds true to his kind in producing bulls and heifers alike that offer the power, flexibility, and presence that deemed him to be a standout in our 2023 sale. Zula 101M1 is no exception here, flexible in her skeleton, soft and maternal in her center third and so lady-like in her muscle pattern. We have long admired the Zula cow family at Cranview Gelbvieh and were in fact the contending bidder on the foundation Zula Z133 cow. We weren’t going to miss the opportunity a second time and purchased her Post Rock Powerbuilt-sired dam. This is truly an exciting opportunity to purchase not only the first daughter of an incredible breeding bull but a heifer that will be used along with her mother as the foundation of an exciting new cow family at Post Rock.
Selling full interest, full possession, but retaining the rights to 1/2 of the embryos produced in three mutually agreed on matings. Donor housing and conventional embryo flush costs split 50-50 between Post Rock and the new buyer until the completion of the embryo obligation. Flushing to occur after she has a calf the first time.

This homozygous black homozygous polled purebred female definitely lives up to her performance numbers which is hard to let her go. Top 3% yearling and weaning and it shows. Very powerful female loaded with mass, structure, but yet a very attractive look about her. She is cow power for sure with that ever elusive purebred we all want. Proud to offer this tremendous female for your consideration. If you’re looking for that hard to find purebred to boost performance don’t miss her!
Her dam, 106J, has a pedigree strength of 2 great cow families in the Jo-Leen family and the Heather family that both are strong maternal bred families that produce performance and strong carcass values. Sells open and ready to breed in the spring of 2025.
DCSF Post Rock Eulima 213M8 - 34.9% Balancer Open Heifer
DCSF Post Rock Eulima 213M8 - Sells as lot 16
Post Rock Eulima 213M8 is a homozygous black, homozygou polled low percentage Balancer with big time potential. She bucks the trend of muscle and maternal being antagonistic traits. She’s refined and feminine about her head, incredibly high tieing and attractive in her front third. I love her from a design standpoint and everything just comes together so well in an eye appealing package. But I think where she separates herself from contemporaries is from a power and dimension standpoint. She has as much true base width, rib, and hip shape as any calf her age. Whether you’re a junior member wanting a highly competitive heifer to have fun taking to shows or a breeder who needs a top end breeding piece in the replacement pen, she deserves serious consideration. Sells open and ready to breed spring of 2025.

The sire of these embryos PVF Blacklist 7077 needs no introduction as he has sired some of the top show heifers in this breed and others. We have calves on the ground out of this flush and they are “different” in the way you want them as young calves. The gorgeous donor dam 131Y has raised some of our best bulls every year with two of them going into seedstock operations. Her son Courageous was a Division winner in the National Show. Our best Balancer fall bull calf is a 131Y ET son. Her beautiful dam of merit daughter OGSG 8131F is currently nursing one of our best purebred fall calves and she will be flushed next year. This 62.5% GV cow is production bred but make no mistake, 131Y will put that extra shag on one that is only dreamed of in this breed. She consistently passes on her striking presence. If you are serious about wanting to compete in the show ring these are the genetics to do that. We plan to have our tank in Denver with the embryos or they can be shipped.
