We bring our best to the N.I.L.E. and JOB DANELL Panda 42B is a fine 50% Balancer example of that tradition. Our program has put a lot of focus on carcass traits, especially marbling (IMF). Marbling is the key factor (80% influence) in getting beef cattle to grade choice. Panda’s dam, Sandy Pride S132, has an incredible 136 IMF ratio, averaging 5.615 IMF on 6 calves and is also a 10 for Tenderness. Panda’s sire, Governor 3N, is one of the Gelbvieh breed’s most proven carcass and growth sires. We are expecting great ultrasound data next spring on Panda 42B, which will put her EPD’s in the Top percentiles for carcass. Not only do her calves ultrasound well, Panda’s dam also has a BW Ratio of 97 on 10 calves, WW Ratio of 99 on 6 calves, YW Ratio of 97 on 6 calves, and a Ribeye Ratio of 100 on 6 calves! Let’s not forget what makes this heifer even more special – S132 is good footed and fertile (8 y/o with 6 natural calves and been flushed twice) with excellent teat and udder quality, all on a moderate frame! We have red, black, balancer and purebred. All pelvic measured over 190. Average birth weight is 80lbs. and weaning at 720. No creep. Run on several thousand acres, all structurally sound. Bred for temperament as priority, and everything else that makes a pretty cow. Consistently done well at the NILE as evidence of breeding program. Same criteria as Heifer calves for sale date and selection and BV heifers only. 20 to pick from. Due to calve in April. Will ultrasound verify bred. Pick of 2014 Replacement Heifer Calves. We could not pick one as we had so many good ones so here is a great opportunity. No holds, you pick the heifer of your choice from our BCV prefix replacement pen. Calved May - June, black, red, purebred to balancer, select your choice. Go through the whole herd before November 1st (approx 40 or so to pick from), or through our replacement pen after that. There are sisters and daughters to the heifers and bulls that have won at Billings, BH Stockshow, National Western, Central States Fair, Western Junior, and multiple Futurity winners at county level. Full sibling to heifer that sold last year at NILE included and she looks identical to her sister. Sires include sons of KHR Sam Spade, SAV Potential, Mytty In Focus, JLSL Undescribable, Conquest, Tabassco and a Grandson of Minnesota Belgrad. Selection and pick up must be made by December 31st.

For the first time we have decided to open the gates and offer the choice of our 2013 bred replacement females. Our main focus is to produce females that are well balanced, easy fleshing that first and foremost make superior mother cows. We do not have the largest herd in the Gelbvieh breed but we have raised herd bulls that are working in many commercial and registered herds along with females that have become superior producers for other programs along with our own. A few are the 2011 National Champion and Gelbvieh Futurity Champion bull BEA Passion 001X ET and the 2013 Balancer Futurity Champion Bull BABR Secret Brand 2100Z. The 2007 Reserve National Champion Female GLWG Diva 38R, The 2009 National Champion Balancer Female BMB 7061T Extra Hott who is the donor dam to the 2012 National Junior Champion Balancer Female and the 2013 National Champion Female BABR Guenivere 1015Y and the 2011 Junior National Champion Gelbvieh Female BABR 0003X. The bred females offered in this lot come from these cow families.
