Objective Design an urban house for a young professional couple. They have purchased a distinctive building plot and want a bespoke home specifically designed to suit their needs. At the moment they live in a loft style apartment nearby, which they love but have grown out of. The house will be the couple’s main residence. They will both need to work from home: he is an art dealer and has other entrepreneurial business interests; she is a journalist and successful novelist. The couple own a barge which will be moored in the canal directly outside the property. They also own a traditional farmhouse in Derbyshire. Assume you have been asked to be influenced by either Le Corbusier, or Frank Lloyd –Wright, whom your clients admire: interpret and apply architectural principles of either architect do not copy
