Creative & Technical Design Intensive Program
Paris, Roubaix, Bordeaux, Rennes
The intensive training course condenses the first 2 years of the Fashion Designer program into 1 year
This program helps students to master the basics of womenswear design and production. Once validated, this program gives students access to the 3rd year of the’ Fashion Designer’ degree course to obtain the certified (RNCP Level 6) diploma.
Required profiles
For professionals returning to higher education and wanting to move into the field of fashion design or for students with a BAC+2 or higher who wish to reorient their studies by choosing a creative field in fashion.
In Bordeaux, Rennes and Roubaix, only accessible to applicants who have already followed an artistic course of study.
Curriculum
Identical to that of the first two years of the Fashion Designer syllabus, at a more sustained pace in view of the level of maturity of the applicants.
Validation
Institutional certification awarded at the end of training if the level is validated and 120 ECTS credits in order to qualify for the 3rd year.
Courses for students or professionals wishing to learn or improve their skills in the fields of Fashion Design, PatternMaking and Computer Aided Design (CAD). These short courses include evening courses and workshops on Saturdays or online.
For students, participation in a certain number of modules allows them to potentially qualify for the 2 nd year undergraduate Fashion Design program, after their skills are evaluated and validated.
For professionals, these modules allow them to validate their knowledge and to improve their skills.

Monday to Thursday from November to June (2-hour classes) in Paris, offered in French only
Design
Introduction to fashion silhouettes and flat patternmaking. Teaches coloring techniques and the analysis of trends. This knowledge is applied by creating a mini-collection.
Moodboard Trends / Fashion Figurines / Textile & Portfolio Creation / Marketing / Entrepreneurship/ Branding and Positioning / Flat Drawing databases of basic pieces and learning how to transform them

Pattern-Making
Learn the pattern-making process, the interpretation of fashion drawings and the creation of a prototype. Learn the construction process and architecture of a skirt and blouse, flat patternmaking and execution of a prototype in muslin/ fabric. Introduction to pattern-making using fitted draping and create a personal piece.

Additional Courses
Completion of the evening courses in Fashion Design and Pattern-making as well as completing these three modules (DAP / Illustrator & Transformation Pattern-making) allows students to join the 2nd year of our undergraduate ‘Fashion Designer’ program upon evaluation and validation of prior knowledge.
Level 1 & 2 CLO 3D Course
CLO 3D is the must-have software used by fashion brands for digital design. This Korean software is used by many of the world's leading sports, luxury and ready-to-wear brands. It allows creative freedom, combining a 2D and 3D interface and challenges the development circuit produced by digital creation.
At the end of this course, students will be able to: Move through the 3D interface with confidence; move objects and patterns; import their own patterns; sew different patterns together and modify them; start the rendering engine and render their first 3D clothing images.
DRESS X Digital fashion management & design certificate
A 35-hour training course over 8 weeks, given in the evenings in English.
Dress X is the first NFT marketplace and the number one E-shop in digital fashion. It was therefore a natural decision for ESMOD to collaborate with DRESS X, a leader in this new market, to launch a dedicated course that allows students to obtain a certificate.
This course approaches fashion products in a Web 3.0 environment with a Design perspective, but also Business, approach to understand how to use, sell and market digital fashion.
