ESMOD France students have access to dedicated spaces that provide inspiration for their collections and research topics. Used with guidance from their instructors, this carefully curated selection of relevant documents, from recently published to historic books and magazines and textiles of all kinds provides invaluable support for their creative and technical work.

In Paris, nearly 10,000 books are available to students in the documentation library. The fabric library displays some 20,000 references of fabrics, including many donations from the stocks of the most illustrious Parisian fashion houses.

IT tools

The following IT tools are available for all ESMOD students:

A Microsoft account providing access to Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Drive, etc.) as well as an ESMOD email account for Outlook and Teams, a collaborative tool that allows them to digitalize much of their work.

An Adobe account giving them access to the entire suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

Access to WGSN, a professional trend-prediction platform designed to serve the needs of industry professionals. Thanks to our partnership, students have access to this wealth of information on trends - tomorrow's colours, products, textiles, and consumer behaviours, to inform and nourish their reflections and creative process.

The Student Association

Led by students, the SA (“BDE, Bureau des Élèves” in French) assists them in developing a variety of projects, including providing services to companies, allowing for rewarding professional experiences while attending school.

The Creative LAB

A creative lab is available to students at ESMOD Paris where they can use professional equipment and software including 3D printers, transfer machines and other industrial machines, etc. for their projects throughout the year.
