When the curtain rises, cats can fly; hot dogs save the world; fried foods battle dairy foods; some of the characters you’re likely to meet are Captain Waffles, Moneyhead Alan, or Snufflepants.

He ultimately meets his match, in more ways than one, in this comedy of manners. Congreve’s final play is considered a shining example of the genre known for its humor regarding relationships.
This dynamic young chamber orchestra presents a colorfully stunning evening of the Four Seasons of Antonio Vivaldi and the Four Seasons of Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzolla. This program is a co-presentation of Seton Hall University’s Classical Concert Series and Charles and Joan Alberto Italian Studies Institute.

Curated by Gerard Ansellem With stories of Islam and its extremes filling our news on a daily basis it is easy to think of Iran in terms of its politics rather than its people. The Iranian Film Series is a chronological approach to learning about Iranian cinema over the last 50 years showcasing films from five of the most important Iranian directors. Post-screening discussions will be led by Political Sciences and Middle Eastern Studies Professor Hossein Hafezian. La Cinémathèque Film Club screenings are curated and hosted by educator, artist, and filmmaker Gerard Amsellem.
