Remote Enrichment Care

R.E.C. 2.0 Information

The Deerfield Park District understands the need for care this fall for students of working parents. To help alleviate this stress and allow for safe, social interaction, we will be offering R.E.C.- Remote Enrichment Care.

• Facemasks will be required for all staff and children except for eating and when outdoors while maintaining a 6ft distance. • Frequent handwashing and sanitizer use will take place throughout the day. • Families will be required to complete a brief health screening questionnaire prior to dropping their child off each day. • This program is intended only for self-directed learners. R.E.C. staff will supervise students while they work remotely on their schoolwork in accordance with the remote learning schedule. • Each student must supply their own laptop and headphones with a microphone each day, in addition to any other school supplies they may need. • Each student must bring a sack lunch and refillable water bottle daily.

This program is scheduled to run as long as District 109 is offering a hybrid school model.
