As a preview, five High Jewellery rings appear attired in dazzling hues, vibrant creations set with elementary colours. In tribute to the tradition of cinema, Technicolor™ films and the creativity of Old Hollywood, de GRISOGONO offers an electrifying look at new Haute Joaillerie creations. These two pioneers of colour – in Cinema for one and Jewellery for the other – have left a brilliant and lasting imprint on their respective arts by glorifying women, images and gemstones through apparently simple colour combinations. Red
Ultra-feminine and Seductive Its flamboyant scarlet nature embodies a peaceful feminine takeover, elegantly catching the light and drawing all eyes. It is the unmistakable heroine, the most appealing of all gems. Striking a powerful contrast with pure white, it offers a vivid reminder that the brightest of shades stems from three primary colours: red, green and blue.

You will wear it a centre stone. There is nothing ambiguous or nuanced about the fundamental colour setting its heart ablaze: an 18.13-carat cushion-cut ruby epitomising the strength of this ring and reverently surrounded by 46 briolette-cut diamonds. This haute couture setting technique, which has become the jeweller’s signature, gives complete freedom to the stones, making them appear to be floating in mid-air.
In an original new touch, the jeweller combines cabochon and brilliant cuts to reveal the full intensity of rubies, an asymmetrical approach extending to one side of the ring contour, studded with more than 100 brilliant-cut diamonds. This boldly assertive look with its generous volumes is punctuated by pink gold and black rhodiumplated gold beads. The countless material effects range from the soft roundness of the cabochons to the sparkling facets of the brilliant-cut diamonds. In the centre, mounted on gemset pink gold prongs, sits an over 7-carat white diamond.

Glamorous and Rebellious A brilliant green infused with contemporary energy, nature’s pigment flaunts its rich and luxuriant hue through a powerful, intense green emerald characterised by extreme purity and transparency. Offering a twist on the black technique used in films to heighten the contrast of the final print, de GRISOGONO enhances this unique creation with its emblematic chiaroscuro effect.
SIGNATURE: MOVEMENT The jeweller accentuates the depth of a cushion-cut 11.60-carat emerald and its iconic black diamonds through this ultra-chic contrast. In a play on roundness, the broad lower corolla revolves around this magnetic beryl in a movement evoking infinity.

Sensual and Inspirational A clear blue hue, as infinite as the sky and sea, shines through an oval-cut sapphire. In a resolutely couture-style trio, de GRISOGONO mingles the tender and deep chromatic nuances of sapphire, diamonds and emeralds.
SIGNATURE: COLOUR COMBINATION Setting the body of the ring with marquise-cut diamonds and emeralds, the jeweller lends a vintage touch to the modernity of this creation. Like a link between the tradition it respects and its characteristically bold innovation. The perfect symmetry of the marquise cut stands in contrast to the asymmetry of their diamond and emerald setting extending to the prongs holding a 16.89-carat oval-cut blue sapphire.
