Hands-on learning at Bell Homestead National Historic Site “I resolve not to teach but to develop.” – Alexander Graham Bell The Bell Homestead National Historic Site is the first North American home of Alexander Graham Bell and his parents. Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone here in 1874. The site has been a museum since 1910 and now includes the restored home of the Bells, the first telephone business office in Canada, the original farm acreage and a modern visitor centre. We offer a variety of curriculum-linked programming, for kindergarten through grade eight. Many of our programs are based around the life and work of Alexander Graham Bell. We cover topics such as: • sound • light • electricity and • magnets Our programming is very hands-on and uses real materials and real objects in a safe and accessible environment. We develop scientific and historical thinking skills while following Alexander Graham Bell’s own teaching philosophy. The Bell Homestead also offers special seasonal educational programming: • Holidays at the Homestead (offered in December): is an exploration of various winter cultural celebrations. • Habitat Homestead (offered in May and June): has the students exploring the site as they learn about the plants and animals that called the farm home, with a special focus on the importance of pollinators. • Sense and Sensibility (offered in May and June): is an immersion in the five senses with help from CNIB and the Canadian Hearing Society.
Program costs begin at only $5 per student and teachers are free!

All Academy tutoring programs are individually designed to meet each students specific needs. We provide a FREE Skill Level Evaluation to assess each student’s strengths and weakness.
on, arget and vel of started ought ial for reality is udents hool of even ons after r they math!
Based on the results of the free evaluation, the individually designed program will target the student’s “skill gaps” problem areas) and ensure dramatic improvement in their level of understanding of the subject. When we started the Academy in Burlington in 2006, I thought the majority of programs would be tutorial in nature; building skills and confidence for students, resulting in better results. The reality is that many of our students were good students upon arrival; they may be senior high school students who recognize the importance of even an incremental increase in terms of options after high school, or potential scholarships. Or they are elementary students who just enjoy math!
• Burlington’s tutoring specialists. • We have been building skills and confidence in elementary and high school students since 2006. • Support mathematics SK to 12, English SK to 12, High School science Grade 9-12, including physics, chemistry and biology.

Who are we? Flying Squirrel Sports is the premier destination for entertainment seekers of all ages! Established in 2015 by two twin brothers dedicated to pioneering both fun and safety, we are the world’s first largest indoor luxury trampoline park. We offer state-of-the-art equipment, world-class customer service, and an experience designed just for you, whether you’re a watchful guardian or rambunctious teenager. We can’t wait for you to come fly with us!
What sets us apart? With the rapid expansion of the trampoline park industry, so too have climbed the number of injuries sustained by patrons when they lose control and land on trampoline pads that overlay the steel frames. As a solution to this problem, we have developed and patented the world’s only shock attenuating trampoline park structure. The design includes trampoline shock absorbing suspension mounts, a connection system with a pivoting horizontal bed rail and a German gas shock system incorporated directly into the trampoline framework was established to fulfill the need in the industry to create a safer trampoline park. We are unwaiveringly dedicated to quality and strive to keep our facilities spotless. At the end of each day, we wipe down every inch of our trampolines with an anti-microbial solution. We also have Air Traffic Controllers on every trampoline court to supervise the soaring action.
What’s in it for me? We understand that parents and teachers are looking for an exciting place to take their children – a place that will inspire kids to break away from their video games, experience the real-life thrill of flying through the air, and get hours of exercise while doing it. Not only is Flying Squirrel a top choice for making lasting memories, but we’re also the top birthday places in the area. Regardless of the age, our indoor trampoline park and fun center are perfect for birthday parties, group events, and field trips.
What’s there to do? Whether you’re a participant or a spectator, there’s something for everyone here. Jump on our free WiFi and relax in our luxurious lounge and massage chairs or take advantage of the fast-paced fun that only a trampoline can provide. Among these activities are Dunk Hoops, where any player can dunk like a pro, Ninja Courses, Climbing walls, Battle Beams, Slack Lines, Parkour Parks, Rope Swings, Foam Pits, Tumble Tracks, Stunt Jump Air Bags, Dodgeball, and Freestyle Courts which takes the traditional fun and elevates it to a sport unlike any other. We also house a delicious cafe in each park to break for lunch or fuel up for another round! With a menu includes pizzas, wraps, and so much more, there is truly something for everyone.
Final thoughts: We promise we will soar to the occasion every time. We specialize in smiles, and our goal is to add you to the list of satisfied family members. Come experience the ultimate adrenaline rush for people of all ages! Reserve your group today! Groups@FlyingSquirrelSports.com

Will you answer the call of a walk with dinosaurs in the world of the Jurassic period?
Music Art History
Can you take part in this journey right from your classroom?
Yes! And your children will have such an opportunity. After all until now on earth there are giant birds, of which almost nothing is known and which excite the strongest research interest in kids!
Over 70 figures created by local Niagara Falls Arts and Culture Inductee Pasquale Ramunno.
Who are these unbelievable creatures? Ostriches of course!
Exhibits displayed in a timeline from the early 60’s to present day.
We all want for our kids to receive not only book, but practical point of view of the diverse planet, on which we live. Because the direct and tactile exposure to the animal kingdom, makes children kind, compassionate and responsible but also awakens the desire to patronize and care. And perhaps, for some they will serve as an impetus to early career guidance in the field of natural sciences.
Exhibit highlights include The 60’s era, Punk Rock, Heavy Metal section, Woodstock and more. For more information call at 905-354-6255 or e-mail at info@ rocklegendswaxmuseum.com
