2018 Delta is home to several golf courses, including the challenging Tsawwassen Springs layout.
GOLFING 76. Tsawwassen Springs An 18-hole, par 70 golf course is the centerpiece of the Tsawwassen Springs development, which includes about 500 housing units and a variety of commercial entities. After your round you can relax at Pat Quinn’s Bar and Restaurant. https://www.tsawwassensprings.ca. 77. The Links at Hampton Cove The challenging nine-hole layout just south of the Fraser River in the Marina Garden Estates area of Ladner poses significant challenges for an executive course. Kings Links by the Sea A links-style course built in the tradition of the British Isles, the wind-swept layout offers great views of adjacent Boundary Bay. The course plays from four sets
of tees, ranging from 5,377 to 6,865 yards. http://www. kingslinks.ca. 79. Bald Eagle Golf Club at Point Roberts After lying dormant for more than a year, the 18-hole course, previously known as the Point Roberts Golf & Country Club, re-opens in May of 2018 under new ownership and with a new name. The facility includes an 18-hole par 3 course, full-size driving range, practice area, pro shop and cafeteria. The goal of the centre is to attract younger golfers so they can experience the game with their family and friends. http:// www.sunshinewoodsgolf. ca.
81. Delta Golf Club Located on the edge of the municipality’s agricultural base in East Delta, the par 67 course measures almost 5,000 yards. The course has a coffee shop, patio, banquet room and a driving range next door. https:// www.deltagolfcourse.com.
FOOD & DRINK 82. Four Winds Brewery Just five years old, the Tilbury area brewery has already made a name for itself in B.C.’s burgeoning craft beer scene by gathering flavours from around the world to create unique West Coast and European styles, which won it Brewery of the Year at the Canadian Beer Awards in 2015.
