A newborn female harbour seal pup was rescued from Centennial Beach in Boundary Bay Monday. Several local residents who spotted the stranded seal pup called the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Centre, which arrived on scene about an hour later and took the seal into their care.
