"Our chapter gained inspirational, poised and already accomplished women. Recruitment feels like a dream because these women have come into our chapter with open arms and have accepted so many responsibilities to make our chapter better. This past recruitment was an unforgettable one to say the least!" -Emily Lousteau, Director of Recruitment Records

"I fell in love with DG because of the opportunities for friendship and service. I smile every time I'm walking down the hallway and a fellow Delta Gamma calls my name and says hi. I love helping the community with a group of girls I love, especially when the cause is something so close to my heart. I feel like I found a home away from home." -Sophie Trist

SERVICE EVENTS DO GOOD

"This semester we did many of our normal Foundation activities: helping the Lion’s Club facilitate eye screenings for kindergarteners and helping elderly residents at the Lambeth House decorate their Christmas trees. We also participated in some new activities to benefit Service for Sight and Delta Gamma’s Foundation such as Fun

, a program for both

people who are blind and elderly, each Wednesday morning at the Louisiana Lighthouse for the Blind. Through this program we played games such as Yahtzee and made all kinds of crafts. This was a wonderful opportunity for members of our chapter to work one-on-one with people suffering from visual disabilities. Members of our chapter also strengthened their bonds with Ms. Muriel, who is an elderly woman who happens to be blind. We became much more committed to seeing and assisting her on a daily basis." -Georgia Smith, VP Foundation

sister spotlight Senior Mary Claire Kramer and Junior Georgia Smith traveled to Washington, D.C. to attend the Ignatian Solidarity Networks's Family Teach-in this past semester with Loyola's LUCAP program. They learned about social justice issues affecting our nation and how to better advocate for the marginalized in our society.

A number of Epsilon Phi ladies participated in volleyball and flag football inter murals this fall. DG came out on top as volleyball champs! Way to go!

Senior Kate O'Leary worked along side former CBS Late Show host, David Letterman, at a Habitat house! Senior Wren Overesch celebrated her senior night and played her last volleyball game as part of the Wolfpack1! So proud of your hard work and dedication, Wren!

Seniors Ellie Diaz and Dannielle Garcia took part in Loyola's ring ceremony tradition!

Seniors Lauren Lankenau and Mary Claire Kramer were both awarded the DG Foundation Scholarship for the fall semester!

A Letter from the

President

President Maddie O'Mahony welcomes our newly elected 2017 Chapter President, Georgia Smith

Epsilon Phi started off our school year with an incredible recruitment! We welcomed in 24 amazing new members as well as close to 100 women into our Panhellenic community at Loyola! We hope to continue growing our chapter and Greeklife at Loyola positively in the upcoming years! Along with a successful recruitment we had a wonderful new member season and an awesome Big/Little and Fall Retreat at City Park! We also spent time with our newest members at sisterhood events such as attending Beignet Fest and Christmas in the Oaks. We were so pleased to initiate all of our new members this semester and formally welcome them into our sisterhood over brunch with our local alum! One of the highlights of this semester was our philanthropy event Desserts with DG! Easily a campus favorite, our third year of this event was another success. Our members raised over $1,100 for Service for Sight! We also continued to work with Louisiana Lighthouse for the Blind this semester during their Fun 101 program every week. This program is a social hour where members would play games and spend time with elderly members of Lighthouse Louisiana. We also had the chance to volunteer with the Lion’s Club and participate in their Cub Screening program, which provides eye screenings in elementary schools. We look forward to continuing to work with both Lighthouse Louisiana and the Lion’s Club in the future. We finished out our semester by welcoming in a new JCMT and CMT to lead us into 2017. Epsilon Phi has many great things in the works and I am so excited for our new leadership team to continue to bring our chapter into greatness! I wish all the new leaders good luck and I know they will do a beautiful job! I would like to thank the chapter for a wonderful 2016 full of growth and successes! ITB, Maddie O’Mahony
