Airband Member Class 2015
Our newest member class competed against other Greek organizations in Loyola's annual Airband competition. The "money" themed dance was a crowd favorite.
Spring Retreat Biloxi, MS
At spring retreat, we created new goals and action plans for the upcoming year. We spent the night around a campfire roasting marshmallows and participating in our fireside ritual. We also spent time bonding with our sisters on the beach and tiedyeing shirts.
Spring 2016 Annual Philanthropy Event
Delta
Jamma
This semester, our annual philanthropy event, Delta Jamma, was the first of its kind. The music festival where Loyola artists performed was a huge success. We sat back and listened to music and got henna tattoos. We also sold t-shirts and flower headbands. We raised over $1500 for Service for Sight!

This summer, some of our sisters had the amazing opportunities of attending leadership conventions and representing Epsilon Phi.
"Through a scholarship awarded from AFLV, I was able to attend a unique LeaderShape session tailored to fraternity and sorority members across the United States. At this 6 day institute, I learned what it takes to lead with integrity and implement positive change in the Greek community." -Mary Claire Kramer
Georgia and Emma attended Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) last May. They spent 5 days with fraternity and sorority men and women discussing the future of their Greek organizations and how they could initiate change in each individual chapter.
"After applying through Executive Offices to attend a Leveraging Leaders program, Georgia and I were lucky enough to receive a scholarship to attend the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute in Bloomington, IN! Throughout the week we spent there, we went through a process of evaluating our individual values, learning how to demand congruence of Delta Gamma’s values with our actions as a chapter and making an explicit plan on how to return back to Epsilon Phi to help make a change for the better. I will never forget my experience there and how much it taught me about authentic leadership." -Emma Woidke
"Delta Gamma’s 67th Biennial Convention was held this past June in Orlando, FL. The theme was Imagine DG and the Convention centered on reflecting on how far Delta Gamma has come in the last biennium while also imagining where we can take it next! The progress that has been made nationally for Delta Gamma is astounding, with 4 new chapters being added in the last 2 years and collegiate and alumnae bringing in $5.5 million for Service for Sight! In embracing the culture of care that Delta Gamma has committed to nationally, Executive Offices announced a partnership with the organization One Student, an organization run by two sorority women who raise awareness about sexual assault. While attending I had the privilege of voting for the new 2016-2018 Fraternity Council and on legislative changes made to the Fraternity Constitution. I also was able to spend some time with our former Epsilon Phi president Shea Hermann, who was working at Convention in her new position as a CDC for Executive Offices! It was an amazing experience to meet so many incredible Delta Gamma women and see the direction our Fraternity is headed in!" -Madelein O'Mahony
"I was nominated to represent Epsilon Phi at the Lewis Institute this summer at Ohio Wesleyan University. The Lewis Institute is a values-based leadership experience focused on educating Delta Gammas from every collegiate chapter on how to authentically lead their chapters and influence positive change." -Amy Watkins

A Letter from the
President Madelein O'Mahony
Epsilon Phi had a successful spring semester full of fun and rewarding events for our chapter! We celebrated our sisterhood through events such as King Cake tasting with our local alum, Airband, sisterhood yoga, our annual Spring Beach Retreat, and Golden Anchor Ball to close out the school year. One of the most exciting moments for us this spring was premiering our brand new Philanthropy Event Delta Jamma! This event was modeled as a mini-music festival with free food and six live acts featuring Loyola’s own Music Industry students! Our members sold over $1500 worth of tickets and merchandise for Service for Sight! We can’t wait to see how this event blossoms over time and continue being a successful event for our chapter! Another highlight of the last semester was being awarded with the Academic Achievement Award at Convention 2016 for having the highest GPA out of all the DG chapters in Region 3! We finished the school year strong again with having the highest Panhellenic GPA on campus and it was amazing to be recognized by our Executive Offices for continually going above and beyond academically! We can’t wait to continue expanding our horizons heading into the next school year!
