Delt Day of Giving Your Role
On April 16, 2025 we will host our annual Delt Day of Giving. We take pride in celebrating the Foundation's service to Delta Tau Delta and put our efforts on public display during our Day of Giving.
Since 1981, the Foundation has enhanced the Delt experience through funding in excess of $26mm. This support benefits the many educational programs and initiatives that are critical to Delta Tau Delta.
As a Day of Giving Ambassador, your role is simple. Your job is to bring awareness leading up to and during this special event Don't worry, we are here to help.
By leveraging your own personal network, your social media contacts, and connections to Delts all over the country you will ensure that our Day of Giving is a success.
Celebrating DELT
We will use this opportunity to reconnect with one another, share the stories that are most meaningful, and to reignite the spark of brotherhood that lives within each Delt.
On April 16, 2025 Delts around the world are invited to participate in the Delt Day of Giving.
The purpose of the day is three-fold:
Reconnecting – Bringing people together for brotherhood and fellowship through the power of technology.

1. Supporting – We will focus on generating support for the programs and initiatives that provide vital resources to our undergraduate brothers.
3.
Celebrating – We will focus on highlighting Delts making a difference and the successes happening around the Fraternity.
THE STEPS.
1.
Spread the word.
Talk about Delt Day of Giving on your own social media outlets. Post your own Delt story on Facebook, tweet why you give or post a selfie on Instagram using #DeltsGive23, the campaign’s official hashtag. We have provided sample messages for use and inspiration.
2.
Email your contacts.
Email your friends and networks and ask them to join you in making a gift on Delt Day of Giving and to become an ambassador. Sample email messages and suggested timelines can be found within this toolkit. Remember 71% of our donations come from email.
3. Make your own gift.
Make your gift on April 16, 2025. If you have already made a gift this year or have a recurring gift, we appreciate you! By making an additional gift of any size on April 16th, you are helping us provide vital funding where it is needed most! Then, share with your networks that you are allin for Delt!
4. Issue a challenge.
Issue a friendly challenge to your network. Encourage specific people to give. Tagging your friends is a great way to draw attention to your social media posts.
Timeline.
Between March 16th and April 15th
Post regularly on social media about Delt Day of Giving! We will be sending out periodic messaging that you can utilize along with images and graphics. Here is one to get you started:
