1.3 Our Global Philanthropy bon COOK partners with Threads of ESTHERS which exists to provide discipleship, counseling, and employable skills for adolescent girls and young women. Trained to sew, paint and crochet, each Freedom Fighter will graduate with the skills and resources necessary to create her own micro-business. bon COOK is proud to offer Aprons for a Cause. Each apron sold helps provide sustainable income to fight against the extreme poverty, violence and exploitation surrounding these women. You can help by selling half aprons ($19.95) or full aprons ($39.95) at your classes, self-chair events, or community events. 100% of the proceeds collected for the sale of aprons goes to ESTHERS. Your customers will love the surprise of the specially-created designs. Sales from these aprons do not earn you commission or count towards our bon REWARDS program since 100% of the proceeds collected are donated. You can also collect round-up change from each customer as you calculate their total order. By using the product code EC2 for such donations, the money is collected by bon COOK and donated to ESTHERS. Visit estherschildren.org for more information.

1.4 New Consultant Checklist

1.5 The bon Vocabulary bon COOK in our own words! This quick reference is designed to help you find the bon words and their meanings. It is intended to bring clarity to our terminology, aligns with our voice and guarantees that we’re off to a bon start when it comes to speaking the language of bon COOK.

MARKETING BON The word “bon” is a universally understood synonym for “good” used to emphasize the goodness in the word it modifies, such as: Our bon story unfolds. The prefix to our company name used playfully to reinforce our brand. Example: Live the bon LIFE! It is used to coin fun phrases, dream up proprietary words and product names with a French twist: bontrepreneur & bonmat. BON TIP Our own tips, ta-das and wow moments that inform and enlighten. Example: Avoid a sticky situation. Use Roul’Pat® in place of parchment paper for easy release of dough and cutouts. COOK TO GATHER. GATHER TO COOK.™ Our company tagline crafted to envelop the values of what it means to be a bon COOK.

PRODUCTS BON COLLECTIONS Our exclusive multi-piece sets containing an assortment of innovative cooking essentials, each thoughtfully put together for the individual needs of our target groups.

Here’s a great printable to display at your cooking classes to help introduce bon COOK.

1.5 The bon Vocabulary

PROGRAMS BON REWARDS Our flexible host reward system of levels, from bon BASIC to bon ELITE, each designed to offer perks based on individual goals, schedules and lifestyles. INCENTIVE TRIP Consultants have a yearly opportunity to earn an all-expense paid trip with locations varying every year. Past trips include Paris, Hawaii, Croatia and the Dominican Republic. Trip qualification periods vary between 6-9 months, and the requirements to earn vary as well. You can earn the trip for yourself, or earn a trip for two. Experience a trip of a lifetime!

BUSINESS ACTIVE CONSULTANT To be considered an active Consultant, a minimum of $400 in personal commissionable sales must be submitted every 6 months. Consultant status will be cancelled after 6 months of inactivity, and any downline will permanently roll up to the next active Consultant. Set up your Consultant Virtual Office. The CVO will be where you will conduct all your business, from setting up classes, creating your calendar, sending out invites, marketing your business, seeing your statistics, managing your team, and so much more. Set up your Personal Website. You will complete your personalized website information under My Account once you access the CVO. This is where your customers will visit and shop. Create a business Facebook page; be sure you familiarize yourself with best practices and company rules around social media posts. They are listed under our Policies and Procedures. Start building your Contact List with potential customers, those to chair cooking classes, and new team members. Continue adding as you think of others that need to join your cooking community. 3.2 Setting Up Your Personal Website 1. Visit boncook.com or your personal Website URL created when signing up to become a bon COOK Consultant by clicking the Login text located in the upper left-hand corner of the website. Chose the “LOGIN/ORDER STATUS option from the dropdown box.

3.2 Setting Up Your Personal Website 2. You will be directed to the Login Landing Page where you will enter the email you used during the signup process, along with the password you chose, then click “LOGIN. If you forgot your password, click the blue text and follow the prompts to reset your password.

3. Welcome to your CVO! You should now have a view of your CVO Dashboard. To continue setting up your personal Website, click the Account tab from the Navigation bar (pictured below).

3.2 Setting Up Your Personal Website 4. Once on your CVO Account page, you will then want to click on the “Profile” option to make some important updates to your profile and Personal Website.

5. Here on the Profile page. The first item to update is the “Text Displayed on Public Header of your Site” content box. By updating this information, you are personalizing your Personal Website to display your name and contact information. This helps to help differentiate your Personal Website with boncook.com for you and your customers. You can edit these boxes to display whatever information you chose. Most Consultants will update the information with their first and last name, along with their email or best form of contact. You can update and change this information at any time.

3.2 Setting Up Your Personal Website 6. Once you’ve updated the Text Displayed on Public Header of your Site content box, continue to update the reaming information on this page. Once finished, click the green Save button at the top of the page.

7. To view the changes you’ve made to personalize your page, visit the URL listed in the “Site Info” box, or click on the “Front Page” text at the top of the page. The “Front Page” text will always take you directly to the Homepage of your boncook.com Personal Website.

3.2 Setting Up Your Personal Website

8. Once you have updated the information on your Account page that was missing, you are all set! Some may choose to make further account updates at this time like the ones pictured below, and others may prefer to come back to those items at a later time. Whatever you chose, your bon COOK Personal Website is now open for business and ready for you to share!

3.3 Income Plan, Payments & Incentives DIRECT DEPOSIT To set up direct deposit, fill out a Direct Deposit Form and send/fax/scan it to Consultant Support along with a voided check. If you do not have checks for the account you’re enrolling with, your banking institution will be able to provide you with a form to fulfill this requirement. PAYDAYS The Policies and Procedures state that commission will be processed by the 15th of each month. STORE CREDIT Store credit is credit that can be earned for various achievements, such as sponsoring someone that achieves their bon START, Convention awards and other incentives that we may run during the month. Store credits can only be used to purchase merchandise, and will not convert to a cash payment. Store credits will remain in your account until they are used and will not expire as long as you remain a bon COOK Consultant. E-WALLET When you submit credit card payments from customers 20% of the commissionable sale is added to your e-wallet. You can use the amount in the e-wallet anytime during the month and apply it to an order. For example, if you have $100 in your e-wallet and a customer orders $50 of product from you and pays cash or check you can apply the money in your e-wallet towards the order and keep the cash or check given to you. Any money in the e-wallet at the end of the month is converted to a payment as part of the commission processing. PAYOUT HISTORY E-wallet and Store Credit history reports can be run for any date range you choose.

3.4 Get Social Let’s Get Social! Sharing your business on social media is the best way to get the word out, stay connected with your customers and encourage others to join your bon COOK community. Follow these easy steps to create a business Facebook page, learn best practices on sharing your personal website and join the bon COOK social groups to stay connected. Step 1: Choose a Classification To begin, navigate to https://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php. This page will showcase six different classifications to choose from: LOCAL BUSINESS OR PLACE COMPANY, ORGANIZATION, OR INSTITUTION BRAND OR PRODUCT ARTIST, BAND, OR PUBLIC FIGURE ENTERTAINMENT CAUSE OR COMMUNITY Local Business or Place

Brand or Product

-About -Hours -Contact

-About -Founded

-Address -Price Range -Parking

-Products -Awards

For your bon COOK Independent Consultant page, we suggest choosing the LOCAL BUSINESS OR PLACE OR BRAND OR PRODUCT option. After selecting your desired classification, you will then be asked for an official name for your business page. This part is very important! We strongly recommend carefully following the guidelines below when selecting your name. Although Facebook allows you to change your name and URL once, it’s a difficult and tedious process. As a Consultant, you may use the bon COOK name in the following manner: Independent Consultant’s Name (that’s you!), bon COOK Independent Consultant Example: Sarah Smith, bon COOK Independent Consultant, (or other variations of the Independent Consultant’s Name) As a Consultant, you may use the bontrepreneur™ name in the following manner: Independent Consultant’s Name, bon COOK bontrepreneur™ Example: Sarah Smith, bon COOK bontrepreneur™, (or other variations of the Independent Consultant’s Name)

3.4 Get Social Step 2: Complete Basic Information Facebook should automatically walk you through the following four basic sections to complete the fundamental aspects of your page. Finish “About” Section The “About” section will serve as the main 2-3 sentence description for your bon COOK business. It will be on your main page, so make it descriptive but succinct. Be sure to include a link to your personal bon COOK website page as well. Also ensure that this information differentiates your brand, making your page even more appealing to potential followers. This is also where you can select your unique domain (that, as mentioned above, can only be changed once). For example, the bon COOK Facebook Page employs the URL facebook.com/ThebonCOOK. Upload Profile Picture Next, you’ll be asked to upload a picture. This will serve as the main visual icon of your page, appearing in search results and alongside any comments you publish. While any perfectly square image will work, the recommended size is 180 x 180 pixels. Want to add a bon COOK logo to your image? Great! We’ve got those here for you.

Add to Favorites Every individual Facebook user has a vertical navigation bar to the left of their News Feed. You can add your Business Page as a “Favorite” item here -- similar to bookmarking a webpage in your web browser -- for easy access. Reach More People Facebook will prompt you to create an advertisement to draw attention to your page. Whether employing paid tactics is a part of your strategy or not, we recommend avoiding starting any ads at this stage -- there’s no compelling content on the page yet that would convince them to ultimately “Like” your page.

3.4 Get Social Step 3: Understand the Admin Panel The basic skeleton of your Business Page is now live. In the top navigation, you’ll see an option for “Settings.” Click that. Along the left side, a vertical navigation bar with different sections should appear. We’ll focus on three core ones now: Page Info: This is where you can add additional details about your business. This section will also unveil different fields based on the classification you chose in Step 1. Notifications: This section allows you to customize when and how you’d like to receive page alerts. Set a frequency that fits your social media marketing schedule. Page Roles: Your role will be as the main manager of the page, but if there are others who you’d like to access to your Facebook Page, you can invite others to make changes to your page here. Step 4: Populate Page With Content Now it’s time to actually publish content to your page and then invite users to be a part of your growing community. Let’s start with the basic content needed to get your page going. Posts The rest of your page will populate over time as you publish more updates. Facebook currently provides six different posting options: Plain text status Photo with caption Link with caption Video with caption Event page Location check-in When posting on your page, be sure to use a variety of content. What images would your audience like to see? What stats would they like to read? What links would they like to click? You can also click the little grey arrow in the top-right corner of each post and then click “Pin to Top” to move one of your posts to the top of your page’s Timeline for seven days. Use this feature for product announcements, sales, virtual Cooking Classes and other major events pertinent to your bon COOK business. For help getting started, check out the social media image library we’ve created for you on Dropbox here!

3.4 Get Social Cover Photo This is the large, horizontal image that spans the top of your Facebook page. Typically, this is a branded image to help attract people to your page. The official photo dimensions are 820 x 312 pixels. To help you create these cover photos, we have some beautiful templates here pre-sized for the right dimensions. Now that there’s content on the page, we can start strategically inviting users to Like it. We recommend inviting users in the following cadence: 1. Invite fellow bontrepreneur’s, to “Like” your page and its content to build some initial activity. 2. Invite supporters in your network, which can be found in the bon COOK Independent Consultants Facebook Group. Encourage them to engage. 3. Invite customers. With some activity now on the page, they’ll be more interested. With content published and users invited, you can go to the “Activity” tab in your page’s top navigation to monitor how people are engaging with your page and content.

Step 5: Measure Your Growth Finally, we need to measure our efforts to ensure we’re making valuable marketing decisions on Facebook. Fortunately, Facebook has embedded in some decently helpful metrics for us to take advantage of. Simply click the “Insights” option in the top navigation to see the following: Overview: This tab shows a 7-day snapshot of your metrics such as page Likes, post reach, and overall engagement. Likes: This tab shows your overall fan growth and losses. If you’re employing paid efforts, you’ll be able to see the breakdown of paid versus organic growth. Reach: This tab highlights the raw number of people your page is reaching every day. If you notice spikes on a specific day, try cross-checking what you posted that day to see if you can replicate that reach. Visits: This tab indicates where on Facebook your viewers are coming from. You can see the difference in visits on Facebook Timelines, your information tab, reviews, and others. And voila! You have a Facebook business page. Congrats! Now go out and launch your bon COOK business!

5.5 Chairing Future Cooking Classes In the beginning, you are going to book your first group of classes on your enthusiasm as you contact friends and family and invite them to become one of your first Chairs. The reason they’re going to say “Yes!” is because of your excitement as you tell them their lives in the kitchen are about to change. Let them know they have to see why you decided to start your own business representing a company that is about making everyone’s lives in the kitchen easier -- and who doesn’t need that? The foundation is our amazing products, but the fun is in the cooking class to see how it’s done. You can get them so excited by sharing what you saw, and you will be on your way to successfully scheduling classes, earning money, and having fun.

Each class you hold becomes another business-building opportunity -- and it won’t stop if you keep the classes fun and inspiring by sharing great recipes with life-changing food prep tips. Our cooking class outlines are designed to help, as well as your own experiences with the products. Your business will continue to grow as you intentionally work to book classes at each one you do. Don’t be shy about asking guests how they would feel about chairing their own class to learn more ideas to specifically address their needs in the kitchen. What you have to offer them is a new way of life in the kitchen - less stress, better results, healthier eating, recipes, time efficiency, and so much more. Being a bon COOK can really happen!

5.5 Chairing Future Cooking Classes A few tips to help in booking future classes: As you are working with your Chair during the Chair coaching session, ask questions about the guests and why they were put on the guest list – you are looking for those that love to cook or need help in the kitchen! These are the best candidates that may be willing to Chair a future class! Share the benefits of bookings from the class, including half-off rewards and the chance to become become a Loyalty Member. Be sure to have a strong open and close to your class. This sets the stage for guests to consider chairing their own private cooking class. This document may help.

Be sure you get their email so they will begin receiving monthly email communication provided by bon COOK as part of the services available to you as a Consultant. Keeping your name in front of your customers will help them to see more products, recipes and ideas encouraging them to connect and book their own class. At the class, encourage guests to “LIKE” your Facebook page so they can pick up tips, new recipes, and learn about special promotions you may post. When you’re having fun in the kitchen with a new recipe, with your family, just testing a product you haven’t used before, share it on your business page! The more customers see your results, the more attention your posts will get. Remember, food is a favorite topic in the social media world! Follow up regularly asking open-ended questions about how their products are working out for them. Reference the 2|2|2 follow up plan to keep you in touch and find out when they would like to chair a class of their own.

5.6 bon REWARDS Invite others to gather, cook and connect by chairing a private cooking class. Our generous bon REWARDS program is designed to reward people who support your business and share it with their community networks. SECTION SIX: BUILD YOUR BON COMMUNITY 6.1 Build Your Community bon COOK is the essence of the kitchen born to influence and inspire meaningful cooking experiences at home and within our communities. Cooking may be one of the best life choices we make. Let us guide you to nurture a sense of cooking pleasure by making the kitchen the gathering place -- a place to bask in the aroma of fresh ingredients and to light the passion that comes with being a bon COOK. Gain a new sense of personal empowerment as you hone your culinary skills sharing new experiences and creations with those closest to you. As you introduce bon COOK to your friends and community, you will experience the joy of gathering to cook and cooking to gather. Build your bon COMMUNITY by increasing your customers and inviting others to join your mission of inspiring everyone to become a bon COOK. 6.2 Maintaining Current & Future Customers Maintaining customers and building a relationship with them is key. They will be your biggest advocates and cheerleaders as you build your business. Determine a follow-up system (check out the 2|2|2 plan below) that will allow you to have consistent contact with your customers. Doing so will help them to view you as a resource for learning more about utilizing their products through future cooking classes and referring others to participate in your business. By building a loyal customer base, they will return to you for gift-giving needs, future events or additional insight they need and by doing so, become more confident in the kitchen. Customers and Chairs are the best resources for future team members as you build your bon COMMUNITY. Customers may be a future referral source for you, or a future Chair or even a future team member. Here are a few tips to keep them engaged with bon COOK. Be sure you get their email so they will begin receiving your monthly email communication provided by the company when you subscribe to our services. At the class, encourage guests to “LIKE your Facebook page and follow you on social media so they can pick up tips, new recipes, and learn about special promotions you may post. Follow up regularly and ask how their products are working out for them.

Consider a 2|2|2 Follow Up Plan, which means: Send a message to your guests thanking them for attending the class, share a recipe, or encourage them to visit your website. After the class, be sure they are using the products regularly; share a recipe or ask what they’re making for dinner that night and suggest how they can make the recipe using the products they purchased. This is a good time to ask if they might like to Chair their own cooking class where you can teach them how to take full advantage of the products’ many uses. You could also suggest a Personal Kitchen Consultation to help them overcome current challenges with meal time. This is a perfect time to see how they’ve progressed with the products, ask what they love most, and what they are excited about making now that they did not have success with before or stayed away from because of the hassle of cleaning up. This is another opportunity to encourage them to chair a class and share what they’ve experienced with friends. Remember to share the Loyalty Program. You could even ask how they would feel about starting their own business sharing these incredible life-changing products with others. Encourage them to visit your personal website for a unique shopping experience for their own needs, and an easy way to buy for others, whether birthdays, holidays, weddings, showers, etc.

6.3 Adding New Customers Building your customer base monthly should be a continual business practice. The more people you bring into your bon COOK community, the stronger sales and sponsoring opportunities you will have as you build your customer base. If making an impact and helping others in the kitchen is part of your personal mission, you will satisfy that by adding more to your community. Think outside the box when seeking to add customers to your customer base. Suggestions include: •Personal Kitchen Consultations, where you add a personal touch with a shopping appointment •Specialty dietary needs to serve the needs of diabetic, heart-healthy or weight loss candidate •Vendor shows/community events •Social media campaigns Diversifying the types of sales opportunities you build into your business helps you to expand your customer base, creating added brand awareness in your market and teaching others to see you as an authority in the kitchen.

6.4 Growing Your Team Enhance your experience as an bontrepreneur by inviting others to join you. Building a team is fun, rewarding, and a growth opportunity for you, both financially and personally. Becoming a bontrepreneur has its benefits: ELEVATE YOUR COOKING EXPERIENCE Whether you love to cook or want to get better at it, you will enjoy elevating your cooking skills to the max as you learn tips and techniques using bon COOK products. Our consultants love the results and the ease of preparing everyday meals that comes from being a bon COOK Consultant. PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH When you begin to lead a team, beyond the additional income you will earn for helping others to achieve their goals, you develop skills you never knew you had! All those prior work or volunteering experiences and those skills you take for granted when raising a family, all become fully developed as you lead a team. You will learn to love the friendships you build, while making a greater impact in other family’s lives and in your community. CREATES A SENSE OF PURPOSE Whether it’s being a source of inspiration for families in your community, raising funds for our corporate philanthropy, or giving a parent the opportunity to be home with their children because that’s where they want to be, the act of inviting others to join you builds on your sense of purpose in many ways. FRIENDS ADD A FUN FACTOR Friends need to know they could work alongside you! Adding friends to your team just enriches your fun factor. Work together to earn the next incentive trip or attend the next bonvention and experience together what it means to live a bon LIFE! Even those you don’t know that you invite to join your team are going to become great friends too.

It means inviting others to join your table and become part of a like-minded group of individuals that want to influence and inspire meaningful cooking experiences at home and within our communities. Plus, starting a home-based business offers many benefits. As others experience bon COOK through your cooking classes, personal shopping appointments and social media exposure, they will be curious about whether this type of business could work for them. Get comfortable sharing a few points about how it has brought value to your life, then ask what a business like this might help them achieve.

INVITE OTHERS TO JOIN YOUR TABLE

6.4 Growing Your Team Potential team members are all around you. Share why you considered starting a business with bon COOK and what benefits you are most excited about. Be sure to highlight the perks that come with having a flexible business. Many people are looking for options to earn extra income for a variety of reasons. As they share, let them know there’s resources available to them to get them started on a path of earning income right away. Share the business kit options, and talk to them about how the business could meet their needs. There are several resources available to help new consultants get off to a strong bon START; check out the section on Leadership Training. Using the training available on your CVO makes your job easier as your build your team.

A Consistent Cooking Class Schedule Helps Your Chair: Those Chairing classes are your best candidates for joining your team. As you review the rewards at the end of her class for hosting, invite your Chair to join your team. The available bon REWARDS dollars can be put towards the bon BUSINESS STARTER, or it can be purchased separately. When they decide to join, help schedule their own business launch or next cooking class to get started. Your Guests: Guests at parties are great candidates too. Once they see the cooking class and make their own purchase, ask how they would feel about starting their own business as a bon COOK Consultant. Getting started is easy and rewarding, and fits into anyone’s busy schedule. Statistically, 1 in 10 guests are looking for something to add income to their budget, or want an opportunity at starting their own home-based business. Just be aware and look for any interest by questions they ask or interest they show. Sometimes they don’t ask, so your prompting will open a discussion and possibly a chance to schedule some time to answer questions they might have.

6.5 Levels & Rank Advancements Building a business that gives you the ability to leverage your time and earning potential has its advantages. By maintaining a consistent cooking class schedule, and inviting others to join your team who also sell and build, you are creating income through your own personal effort as well as through the efforts of others. If building income is your goal, it can be accomplished by advancing through the ranks in the Income Plan, and teaching others to the same. Let’s review the levels to see how your income changes as you advance: LEVEL 1 (L1) A Level 1 Consultant is where all new consultants begin. Once you accumulate $1200 in sales, you will advance to Level 2. LEVEL 2 (L2) A Level 2 Consultant earns an additional 5% bonus on personal sales when maintaining Level 2 with $400+ in personal commission sales per month. Once you accumulate $2400 in total sales, you advance to Level 3. LEVEL 3 (L3) A Level 3 Consultant earns an additional 7% bonus on personal sales when maintaining Level 3 with $400+ in personal commissionable sales per month, and $1200 in Personal Group Sales. You can achieve the $1200 in PGS all on your own or begin adding other bontrepreneurs to your team; their sales count towards the PGS requirement. TEAM LEADER (TL) This is the first step in working towards becoming a Group Leader team, and is achieved by meeting the requirements of the rank with $800+ in PCS and $2400+ in PGS. You must also have at least two personally-sponsored (PS) Active Level 2 Consultants in the month you plan to advance to this rank. A Team Leader earns an additional 9% bonus on personal commissionable sales, as well as a 2-9% differential bonus on those in your personal group. Team Leader bonuses are paid when the maintenance requirements of the rank are met, which means $800 in PCS and $2400 in PGS.

A Group Leader earns an additional 11% bonus on personal commissionable sales, as well as a 2-11% differential bonus on those in your personal group. Group Leader bonuses are paid when the maintenance requirements of the rank are met, which means $800 in PCS and $3500 in PGS. You will receive a one-time rank advancement bonus of $200. Earn up to 31% in personal commission

Receive a $200 bonus when you become a Group Leader

Receive a $200 bonus every time you break away a new Group Leader Once you achieve the requirements of the Group Leader rank, you “break away” from your sponsor’s personal group and become your own Group Leader team. You are still part of your sponsor’s team, but they are now compensated on your Group Leader team sales with a flat percentage bonus. As you continue to build your business, your goal is to now build other “break aways” from your personal group, meaning that you teach others to achieve the Group Leader status too. It’s a way for you to build additional income on each Group Leader team you build, in addition to what you are earning on your personal commissionable sales and personal group’s sales.

6.5 Levels & Rank Advancements When you build other Group Leaders from your personal group, it advances you up in the Income Plan to higher ranks. The levels of upper leadership ranks include: 1 STAR CHEF This rank is achieved when you promote your first frontline (or personally sponsored) Group Leader out of your personal group. By doing so, you begin earning a flat 4% payout on that new Group Leader’s team sales every month that they meet the rank requirements of GL. A rank advancement to 1 Star Chef also earns you a one-time Rank Advancement Bonus of $300.

2 STAR CHEF This rank is achieved when you promote a second Group Leader team, giving you two Paid as Group Leaders. One of these two GLs must be frontline to you. Depending on their generational rank to you (whether they are 1st generation or 2nd generation), you earn a flat 4% payout on any first-generation Group Leader’s team sales every month and a 2% payout on any second-generation Group Leader team. A rank advancement to 2 Star Chef also earns you a one-time Rank Advancement Bonus of $500.

3 STAR CHEF This rank is achieved when you promote a third and fourth Group Leader team, giving you a total of four Paid as Group Leaders. Two of these four GLs must be frontline to you. Depending on their generational rank to you (whether they are 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation), you earn a flat 4% payout on any first-generation Group Leader’s team sales every month, a 2% payout on any second-generation Group Leader’s team sales, and a 1% payout of any third-generation Group Leader’s team sales. A rank advancement to 3 Star Chef also earns you a one-time Rank Advancement Bonus of $700.

4 STAR CHEF This rank is achieved when you promote two additional Group Leader teams, giving you a total of six Paid as Group Leaders. Four of these six GLs must be frontline to you. Depending on their generational rank to you (whether they are 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation), you earn a flat 4% payout on any first-generation Group Leader’s team sales every month, a 3% payout on any second-generation Group Leader’s team sales, and a 2% payout of any third-generation Group Leader’s team sales. A rank advancement to 4 Star Chef also earns you a one-time Rank Advancement Bonus of $1000. A 4 Star Chef maximizes all levels in the Income Plan, and earns a 1% personal sales bonus every month they are paid at this 4 Star level.

6.6 Rewards, Incentives & Recognition Your new business rewards you in many ways! Income may be your first priority, but there may be other reasons too. Do you like to travel? Do you like prizes? Would you love to earn products for free? We’ve got it all when you create a consistent business. It pays well with your personal sales commission and team bonuses, but who doesn’t like a little icing on their cake? Sales incentives pop up regularly. Our month kicks off with a chance to earn a free product of the company’s choice for $1000+ in sales in the first 10 days of each month, just as an example. You can always watch your CVO and pay attention to our monthly Consultant newsletter, the bon TIMES, for additional incentives and promotions. Our bon CLUB program is a way for you to earn a variety of additional rewards for your personal sales and sponsoring efforts. Each year we launch a new incentive trip promotion which can be earned through your business-building activities. It is a point-based system and can be a fabulous way to create consistency and accountability in your business in many key areas of performance. Once the trip is announced, we show you what’s needed to earn it and you set a plan in motion. Trip qualification periods usually run 6-9 months.

6.7 Leadership The first level of leadership, as identified in the Income Plan, is becoming a Group Leader. Requirements to advance to this rank are explained in Section 3. Why would you want to become a leader with bon COOK? Beyond the fact that being a Group Leader is where you maximize the personal sales commission and personal group bonuses available, it also allows you to make a bigger impact through others. Leadership provides a way to build financial security, and it also provides a level of satisfaction that nothing like leading a team can. Leadership allows you to experience one of the best parts this business has to offer. As you share a great business that gives people choices with their time and income potential as a bontrepreneur, you are also helping individuals and family learn how life in the kitchen can be transformed. Helping a new Consultant reach their potential, even before they realize what’s possible, is one of the gifts of bringing others into your bon COOK community as bontrepreneurs. It’s a great perk to show others how to achieve personal, professional and financial goals as you work alongside those team members to help them build their new businesses. You will learn that the ability to make a difference in customers’ lives after using these products, and the impact on our corporate philanthropy, ESTHERS, expands even further as you build a larger team. Plus, it’s fun and rewarding! “Leadership is the place where real growth in your business starts to happen. It is when you start to realize the compound effect of having a team and the fun of having a team because you never work alone. It is through leadership that we have the biggest impact and the best opportunity to inspire others. For me, leadership was only the beginning of what is really possible; the doors to endless opportunities opened. As leaders, we inspire leaders to build a community with the same common goals.” -Teresa Fewel, 4 Star Chef

Being a leader means setting a good example with a consistent class schedule, and inviting others to join your team as part of your regular business-building activities. As you invite others to join, you will also work alongside those with consistent schedules and help them see the potential you realized when you made the decision to experience leadership. Your goal, if income and making a bigger difference matters to you, is to duplicate what you’ve done in others. The main responsibilities of a leader begin with keeping your own personal calendar and recruiting consistent, coaching others on your team that are also consistent in their activities, providing a monthly meeting to bring the team together for training and inspiration, and developing leaders. As you build more leaders out of your personal group, you will also advance rank and create increased income opportunities for yourself and them. Review the Income Plan to fully understand the benchmarks and requirements. As a leader, you have two main methods to build your business through your team: First, trainings are for empowering others with business-building information. Utilize the full resources of this training document as well as all training opportunities provided by the company. You will develop your own trainings through what you’ve learned, and utilize monthly meetings and calls to share that training with your team as it grows. Second, coaching is a proven technique for helping your team members by asking questions to determine a path for their success. Coaching calls can be established on your schedule for those on your team that you see potential as future leaders. Utilize your Area Managers to help support your growth strategy.

6.8 Group Goal Setter The Group Goal Setter is a great way to document and track business-building activities within your personal group. Keeping track monthly of your business builders will help you make decisions on who to spend time coaching and giving more attention to. The key to building a successful income-producing team is to spend your time wisely with those that are producing results and have a desire to move forward.

bonTIP Post a picture of what you’re working towards and place it where you’ll see it daily. Take at least one action each day to get you closer to that goal.

7.1 bon START Program The bon START Program should be a goal you set for yourself, as well as others you invite to join your team. Your results with the bon START program will be part of your success story! As others join your team, sharing the bon START Program will encourage them to get their business moving quickly, in addition to creating accountability. The quicker your new team members get started with cooking classes, the greater likelihood you have of them staying with the business. It becomes more challenging the longer they delay in getting them to reach a path to success quickly!

7.1 bon START Program The bon START program rewards new consultants with great product additions to their business starter kit or for personal use at home at each of the benchmarks of 20, 30, 50, and 70 days. Use the CVO Calendar to help you get started successfully, and as you sponsor new team members help them create their plan and strategy for reaching the sales goals identified in the program. They will feel successful and encouraged to keep their business moving forward as they create consistent business habits in reaching these goals.

Once the 70-day mark is over, your strategy and for those you sponsor is to create consistency in your business. The bon CLUB was designed to do just that by rewarding monthly sales and recruiting benchmarks. Each consultant reaching those monthly levels outlined in bon CLUB are rewarded in several ways, including recognition and monthly specially-selected awards. In addition to setting sales goals to put money in your pocket, it also encourages you and your team members to be adding new consultants to the team consistently, which is the path to financial success! Pay attention to key indicators of a successful business: increasing the number of customers monthly; the number of guests at each class; the average sales per class; your sponsoring ratio; the number of future leaders to develop from your personal group; the number of bookings at each class, etc. If you need assistance achieving your desired results, let your support team know. Utilize the training resources to help, and seek business-related books and industry articles to expand your knowledge.

7.2 Business Organization Tips OFFICE/WORKSPACE Have a designated work space if you don’t have a separate office. End every day when you are finished working by cleaning up your workspace. File, straighten, make notes for actions the next day, etc. You will start your next work time more productive if you end the previous one with a little cleanup. Be diligent about using your planner or an electronic to do list and reminder app for training calls, calls with your upline support leader, follow up, class to do list, etc. Create a system that will work for you. Use folders for any projects or events you may have to keep notes and information in one place. You are in business now, so let others know by mentioning your business on your voice mail and keep it professional.

7.2 Business Organization Tips USING YOUR TIME WISELY Schedule a consistent time each week to plan. Sunday nights can work well to check your week and review your commitments to determine your work hours to fit each week’s schedule. We can be flexible and we can be part-time, but we can’t expect to get our job done in our “spare” time. Planning your work hours will keep you on track. Work when you plan to work and play when you aren’t! Use a Daily Focus Plan, where you give attention to a specific business-building activity each day. For example: Monday: Team member calls (if no team yet, use this time to prospect for some!) Tuesday: Prospecting Wednesday: Hostess and customer care calls Thursday: Booking day Friday: Reflect and review It doesn’t mean you don’t do anything else that day; it just helps you to focus on that specific activity and gives you clarity and purpose for the day. Use a Power Hour on days when you don’t have a lot of time. Power Hours are a concentrated, focused, intentional hour where if nothing else happens that day, the Power Hour happens no matter what. The hour equals: 2-5 booking calls 2-5 prospecting calls 2 calls to support your team members Use the last 15 minutes to send out any emails, packets, or make follow up notes because of your calls. If you are going for an incentive, use a tracking system of some sort. Post it on your refrigerator for a good reminder or to get the entire household involved in your goal. It could be your first incentive of earning all of your bon START products, a trip or sales incentive, or reaching a certain income for the month. Make it fun and create intention and focus around your goals. Keep a separate manila folder for each class. Complete your Cooking Class Follow Up sheet after each party to check your results and effectiveness.
