The All-New Mazda MX-30 is the Japanese manufacturer’s first all-electric vehicle – and it’s already turning heads. It’s already been named Favourite Electric Car in the 2021 DrivingElectric.com Awards, decided by votes from the readers of the specialist electric and hybrid vehicle review site. The Mazda MX-30’s rapid charge ability means it’s capable of recharging the battery from 20-80% in approximately 36 minutes using a 50kW DC rapid charge station. AC options let you plug in at home for convenient overnight charging, while DC lets you power up at public charge stations. Capable of a 124-mile range (WLTP combined), it comes with an eight-year, or 100,000-mile, battery warranty. This combines with a modern floating console, which offers extra storage space below as well as an integrated power socket.
