Street art Street art is a new trend in Malaysia art, provided more opportunities to rising Malaysia artists to showcase their talent through a new place provided . Normally we can find street art at the back street, what the artist draw is to show history, art and culture at that certain place. Also some of the art work is to educate people or for advertisement purpose.

The history of Malaysia street art Start from 2012, street in has become an increasingly big deal in Malaysia due to many joint efforts between the government and art lovers.
Street art started when Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic was commissioned by the Penang government in 2012 to draw
murals for the Georgetown Festival. Therefor, until now Peneng is a city that has greatest number of street art .

Pasar Seni Pasar Seni is a area full of art and culture, it is also a place that tourist always visited.
In this area there is a bunch of shop lot that is full of history, the back street of the particular shop lot always a place that street artist choose to complete their art work.

Goldsmithing Uncle The most significant art work is the art work that drew by a Russian artist Julia Volchkova Located beside Pasar Seni MRT station. This art piece is her first art work in Kuala Lumpur. Her art pieces Inspired by many different unusual faces among the crowds in the cities where she is based.
“Goldsmith� this art work is completed on April 2016, the things that surprising me is that she only use 4 days to completed this huge mural artwork.

Pasar Karat Street the art show the life style of hawkers there.
Street art at Pasar Karat street Pasar Karat is a street that many hawkers selling their old things with cheep price at that street. At the beginning all this hawkers selling things without having permit, because at that time some hawker selling things that is stole from others. But now to attract more tourist Kuala Lumpur City Hall giving out the licenses to the hawkers and change the name to Antique Market.
So to make this place for tourist and to brighten up this street, so government paint the back street with many art pieces. So of The street art is showing the scene of Pasar Karat. The hawkers selling this from 4am-8am so if you want just to visit the street art you can just go at afternoon .

Sampan Boy The artwork is located at the wall beside “Allianz building” . Allianz General Insurance Company recruited Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic to help create awareness about its new insurance plan “kampungku”.
Why Ernest come out with this? He inspired by the kampung live style. He actually visited the kampung and get inspiration. The outcome of the artwork shows a peaceful kampung scene which a boy in a sampan floating by a house on stilts, an old woman looking out of its window and a cat napping on the stairs.

3D Art
The back ally street in Bukit Bintang This street art project is create by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall, “ The Laneways Project�. Their aim is to transform dirty, dingy and smelly alleyways to give a positive impact on the local community to brighten the back ally.
The project to brighten the back ally is not just painting 2D and 3D murals, also upgrading drains, resurfacing roads, installing street lights and decorative lights, cleaning and repairing wall and ground surfaces for paintworks. To make use of the back ally, to make this place become a place for people to hangout .

Conclusion As a conclusion street art is not just a normal artwork. The reason that street art different from others artworks is because, every street art that created has certain meaning for it to being there. One of the biggest different is that street art car provide us a better environment. It can make the back street become a place that we will go, usually we won’t go to the back ally because we know that the back ally is the dark and dirty place. But street art change this. We also see culture in certain place from the street art.
