Letter from the secretary Hello fellow Key Club Members! We started off the year strong! Our club is recognized as one of the top twenty five clubs in the T-OK district for the third quarter. We have made it every quarter so far! I would like to thank the members of the Club for their participation in every event and service opportunities our President, Emily, has presented us. This month, the attendance for Kiwanis meetings was above the average attendance rate. Thank you to everyone who has attended the meetings! The bond between Key Club and Kiwanis has strengthened so much because of you. Attendance for general Key Club meetings have increased also! Remember to keep up your attendance at the meetings! As you know, our club is selling Threads of Hope bracelets. Thank you to everyone who has dedicated their morning times to sell the bracelets. This has been a big success because of you! We have raised a lot of money to send back to the families in the Philippines! Right now, consider running for a position on the board for the 2020-2021 school year! It is a great opportunity to meet new people and grow as a leader. Remember your service is making a strong impact, not just in our community and school, but around the world too! Remember to serve and be kind to all in any way possible despite the chaotic Spring semester!
Yours in service,
Kate Crawford JANUARY NEWSLETTER

Kiwanis Sponsor Appreciation Meeting JANUARY 15TH, 2O2O On this Wednesday, our sponsoring Kiwanis Club had a special breakfast to thank all the sponsors that helped make the Turkey Roll this past year possible. Our club was invited and we had many Key Clubbers in attendance. (Especially those who volunteered at the Turkey Roll) As always, the hotel breakfast selection (made-to-order omelettes, waffles, fruit, bacon, etc..) was available to all attendees. This breakfast was to honor the 27 businesses around Denton who donated money, food, or service to the Turkey Roll. The bike rally (which took place in November) is a major fundraiser for Kiwanis, which helps them to sponsor and provide aid for our club.
