Letter from the editor Hello Key Clubbers, I just wanted to let everyone know about how proud I am of our club! We were ranked seventh out of the top 25 Key Clubs in Texas for the second quarter, good job everyone! I am happy to see all people that come to the meetings every month, and seeing the new faces. I truly appreciate the amount of participation that we have in our club. During the November meeting, the announcement about the tshirts was made, be sure to check out the design of the tshirt (see page 8)! If you missed the last meeting, make sure to attend the next one! Lastly, more and more volunteer opportunities are coming in, so make sure that you're participating to get those volunteer hours! Seniors, in order to get your cord, make sure that you have at least 24 service hours! Yours in service,

Turkey Roll NOVEMBER 23RD, 2019 This yearly bike race had variable lengths (anywhere from 8 miles to 68 miles!) and is was Saturday before Thanksgiving Day, with all proceeds benefiting the programs of the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis, which includes sponsorship of eight youth leadership clubs (Circle K, Key Club, Builders Club) and their Tiny Libraries project, which provides books for school-aged children. We needed volunteers for two rest stops to help hand out water and snacks to the bikers who pass through, along with cheering them on! One rest stop was run by Emily Young and the other is run by Kasandra Schroeder. Every year this day is always a really fun day, so thank you to everyone who signed up.
