than 70 years of the French House’s enduring legacy Photography: Georgez Dabit
The Denver Art Museum had the most amazing selection of dresses from the House of Dior. DenVhere Magazine was able to view the dresses before the public could see them. With over 200 haute couture dresses, accessories, sketches, and more from 70 years of Dior, the whole collection was truly inspiring.

From Denver To New Y
Hitting the Big Apple in a day can be quite daunting. The city has everything you could ever wish for. You can easily spend the day without dropping any money on attractions or you can choose what you really want to see. I’ll give you all the hints and tricks on spending a full day in NYC.
1. Have a plan or idea of what you want to see and do. While wandering around a city can be fun, New York tourism doesn’t slow down, so those museums and attractions can have mile-long lines just to buy tickets. As mentioned above, you can easily walk around without stepping inside any attraction. Keep in mind of where the popular attractions are: the Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial and Museum, and the Empire State Building are closer together than Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and the Met. So, starting at one end and working towards another end can greatly help you. 2. Don’t book a hop-on-hop-off bus tour. I made the mistake of booking one due to great experiences in other cities, and with the constant traffic in the city, you’re better off walking, Ubering, or taking the subway. Not to mention, you must abide by their schedule to catch the next bus. 3. Take snacks and drinks while walking around. If you’re strapped for cash or don’t want to spend a lot, take some snacks that can help you get through the day. The city is an expensive place to eat; I would recommend making dinner your time to enjoy a lovely meal. You can even find a place with some good happy hour prices.
4. Skip the Empire State Building. You read that right! Skip it! There are many rooftop bars and buildings that offer spectacular views for free or for the price of a beverage. The Met Museum rooftop bar shows off nice views of Central Park. When you’re ready to get a beverage, just simply search on your phone where you’re standing, and you’ll find one minutes away. 5. Explore Greenwich Village. This neighborhood has so much history and culture that it would make for a perfect stroll. There are tons of local restaurants, shops, and parks to check out. New York University is also in Greenwich and if you’re visiting on Halloween, be sure to check out the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade.

York - A Perfect New York Day
6. Take a guided tour. Taking a guided tour of the city can really put some things into perspective, especially if you do a specialized tour, such as a ghost tour or a food tour. If there’s a tour you would be interested in taking, I’m pretty sure New York City has it. Check out Viator or Trip Advisor. 7. Visit Times Square at night. If you’ve ever watched the New Year’s Eve Special on TV, then you need to see Times Square at night for yourself! It’s a magical experience for your first time seeing all the lights and screens. They even have rafters in the center for you to climb up to get some great pictures.
8. Time management. Exploring Rockefeller Center and Times Square can take less than 10 minutes. Take some pictures, a selfie or two, and be on your way. Not that they’re bad places to be, but there really isn’t anything else to do in those areas. You have pricey shops that sell the same touristy merch or designer stores. If stepping in those places are of interest, then do so.
9. Central Park. Central Park could be a day in itself to really enjoy the scenery.
Most attractions are easy to get to when walking directly from Rockefeller Center. I would recommend going to the Central Park Zoo if you have time or have kids with you. With these tips, your New York day will be so much better!
Be sure to #DenVhereMagazine to show us how you did the Big Apple.

A Look Into The Eras
Editor-In-Chief: Georgez Dabit Photography: Greg Martin
The Generations of Generations Issue is such a special issue for a couple of reasons. First, the issue features the Whittakers, for whom I've known for many years now. Second, the issue focuses on the importance of looking at different generations and how crucial they are for the fashion industry. Each era is unique in its own way. Many styles come back, sometimes for a short while, and sometimes for longer than the original style lasted. A great example of this would be the era of the 80s. For some reason, the 80s are always "in." I suspect that's because of the bright colors, the big hair, the great music, and of course, the good, positive vibes people of the 80s may have experienced. This issue features many looks from different eras, along with generations of age and family. In this picture, I am wearing Tom Ford prescription glasses, which also transition to sunglasses. What I love about them is the clear, vintage look. This is a great representation of generation recycling, as I call it. If you like them, you can get the same pair at 20/20 EyeVenue at the Orchard Mall in Westminster.
