DERBY SILK MILL MODEL RAILWAY Saturday 5th November sees the final running of our iconic model railway for the final time until its return in the new Museum of Making in 2020. The model railway will be joining us as we take the collections into temporary storage for the duration of the project. While there, we’ll be working on updating the railway and reimagining its relationship with the Midland Railway Study Centre. We’ve already started 3D scanning the railway to preserve its current layout. Be sure to check the Derby Silk Mill tumblr for future updates!
